Richard Perry and his crew at Clearview built us a two bedroom cottage in Harpswell. We are delighted with the home. The project came in on budget and within a reasonable time. Most importantly, the materials, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are terrific. Richard himself is straightforward, honest, and trustworthy. This was a major project for us - from site work, to septic, to full build out of a year-round home and garage. We would strongly recommend Richard / Clearview without reservation.

Richard and his crew do amazing work! They built a garage and a mud room for me, and it was a super smooth project from start to finish. Richard helped with the initial planning and with incorporating specific things I wanted (like a doggie shower) into the plan. The team does high quality work, and Richard had great suggestions along the way when it came to both build and design choices. He is very responsive and the communication was great through the whole project. I get lots of comments on how well the addition flows with the house (which is older) and style. I can’t recommend Richard and team enough!

Richard is a find! No matter how small or large the chore, it is accomplished well and professionally. He found us these miraculous doors, so now in our old age, instead of having to remove screen panels and lift heavy glass panels to insert in the doors every fall, all we do is pull up on the handle, and voila! Either a screen or a glass panel! What's amazing is that during the winter, I don't always want a glass panel. If something is smoking in the oven, I can instantly convert that glass door to a screened door, and this was all his idea. He sourced the doors for a reasonable price and high quality, and installed them beautifully. I cannot say enough about him. He doesn't work on Sundays, because it's family time, and we love that.
