After an initial visit for an estimate and measurement, he never contacted to make an installation appointment. After I contacted him about an install date, he committed to the following week. He showed up and said the next day he would do and dropped his trailer. 2 Days later I received an e-mail saying he did not have the material and it would be the following week on Tuesday. He never showed on Tuesday and did not respond to phone or e-mail. In the interim, city code enforcement were at my house about his trailer that was there for a week. Again, no response. The police showed up the next day and ordered it removed or be towed. He finally responded and moved his trailer. All this was a month long process. He seems like a nice guy but does not do what he says he is going to do nor does he respond. His trailer is a magnet for thieves and I had my vehicle broken into while it was parked in front of my house.. Costs me $2,000 in damages to my vehicle for the pleasure of doing "business" and I still have no gutters! I did not even get an apology for being jerked around.

I contacted Dave to help with an extremely minor problem - one of my downspouts had come loose and was vibrating in the high winds and making a lot of noise. I had called other local companies and was told things like they weren't available anytime soon, or would have to apply a minimum trip fee of $300, etc. Needless to say, I was in a bit of a panic thinking this was going to take a long time and possibly cost a significant amount.

BUT, then Dave called me back, had me explain the situation, said he was fairly certain of what the problem was and asked if he could swing by now. He arrived 15 minutes later, I showed him the problem area, and he smiled, walked back to his truck and came back to put in two screws. He handed me his card and said to call if that didn't resolve the problem. No minimum charge, no trip cost, nothing.

It's an amazing feeling to know that there are still good people out there - he didn't know me and yet was willing to drive over straight away and help out. I'm keeping his card and will call him for any future roofing/gutter/insulation needs I have.
