CIR EXTERIORS' staff did a great job communicating with our insurance company, scheduling their contractors for each phase of the project, and explaining what's to be expected during each phase. They kept us informed if there was going to be a delay due to inclement weather. They completed the job and inspected the work within the time frame promised. I would recommend CIR Exteriors to others in need of a full roof replacement.

He gave me an idea of how much more life he believed the roof had and gave me some information on storms and the insurance process. Back in August we had a really bad hailstorm in Sterling that did a number on my house. Ezana met with my insurance adjuster and got me approved for a new roof and all new siding. It was a long process but Ezana fought hard to get my house covered and I appreciate that he was always available when I needed him. Very nice guy, would work with him again.

He guided us through the process of submitting the claim and worked closely with the estimator, staying involved every step of the way during the installation, even amidst severe snowy weather conditions. We live in a neighborhood that was hit with a major hailstorm. We received a visit from Gabe representing Colonial Insurance Restoration (CIR) offering a free roof inspection. Gave advised us of roof damage and assisted with the claim procedure. Fortunately the insurance company confirmed Gabe’s inspection. CIR with Gabe’s supervision replaced our roof with professional results. It’s also important to mention we live in an area governed by a home owners association (HOA) and seven other homes used CIR to replace their roof.

Our neighborhood had storm damage. Lots of companies came to our door to offer to look at our roof. We did not feel comfortable working with them. Then our next door neighbors recommended we speak with David Leckie from CIR Exteriors. From the beginning we were comfortable with the process. Most of the companies wanted money instead of paying attention to our problems. David came and inspected our roof. He talked to us about the issues. He did not guarantee it would be covered but made sure we understood what was wrong, what the process was, and what his role was. David sat down with me when I called the insurance company and was here when they came to inspect the roof. I feel like in every instance he went above and beyond! We felt like we were the only customers he had. His customer service was excellent. He was available throughout the process to help us and never just passed us on to the next person. started with CIR June 2023 after a hail storm. After our initial inspection, our homeowners insurance provided approval for coverage of our roof and one side of siding replacement on 7/7/23. While at our home, Vivek shared his personal opinions of a colleague that was working for State Farm with a neighbor and indicated they showed up inebriated and made inappropriate comments about this stranger to us, which we chose to ignore for the time being. We received our first insurance check on 8/13/2023, by 9/11/23 we had still not heard anything about the status, so we followed up and were told we should receive the check reauthorized from our mortgage company. Fast forward to 10/9/23, we were informed that the check "ended up back in my office and has been deposited." Vivek shared he would stop by 10/10/23 to have us sign the final contract with color and specifics, but unfortunately did not give a timeframe and stopped at a time when we were not home. We submitted the signed contract via text 10/12/23 and did not hear anything for a week so we followed up 10/19/23 and were told our project would be scheduled within two weeks.

On 10/24/23 a crew showed up to drop off supplies, with no notice. Vivek called 10/25/23 and shared supplies should come that day, we informed him they came the day prior. 10/27/23, they did not show up until well after 9:00am, and we still received no communication on what to expect. Vivek shared he would stop by after noon to see their progress, and then later in the afternoon stated he decided to head home to avoid traffic. It was clear they were unable to finish a project this size in one day, which makes sense. Saturday around 8:00am, someone showed up and took the trailer for disposal, and then eventually around 10:45am a crew arrived to complete the project.

Vivek shared he was in Richmond for a meeting and would stop by Sunday to inspect the final project and ensure it was all cleaned up. Sunday, Vivek texted and said he would not be able to make it due to a 'redskins' football game and he would be at the house Monday morning. Monday morning, by 11:00am, I contacted Vivek to get a timeframe and he shared that he was in office at a meeting and then would head this way. Late afternoon rolls around, and he messages that he had to go to Charlottesville to pick up another client's check and is heading our way. He then texts about thirty minutes later that he is having car trouble and can no longer make it. He stated he planned to be at our home the following day, Tuesday by 9:00am. He texted and shared that he was on his way and would be arriving closer to 10:00am, and showed up for a few minutes to look at the roof from the ground. We had requested additional cleanup since we went out and found a small bowl of nails ourselves, but we continued to find nails.

We did not hear from Vivek for over a month following the completion of our roofing, until my husband reached out to request an update on scheduling for the siding project. Vivek shared that he had 9 additional projects and only 2 crews so we were next on the list, without providing any indication of timeframe. Once it was finally done in February 2023 Vivek communicated that he would come and inspect and then text that as he entered the neighborhood he had car trouble and had to leave. We never heard from him until he texted and said he wanted to come and sort out the final payment, but never followed through so we paid online. There was never a final inspection of any work completed.

Some of the reasons provided for the many no shows or rescheduled times to finalize parts of our project included: girlfriend's birthday, dad was sick, broken down car, decided to head home to avoid traffic, redskins football game, and car trouble again. It is clear that there is far too much on this individual's plate and they may need additional support. This experience has been quite exhausting and I can say confidently this was not professional. I have shared my experience with my local neighbors and will be posting on google reviews as well.

Mitch came by after a storm and noticed our roof and siding had been damaged. He was able to get us a brand new roof and siding through our home insurance within a few weeks from start to finish. Took two weeks to do a one day job on my townhouse. No supervisor on site. Poor communication. Failed to show on several occasions. Plugged into neighbor’s electric. Left large amount of debris in neighbor’s gutters. Two months later, furnace failed due to water leak from roof exhaust. Collar not sealed. Refusing to accept any responsibility even though their own “inspector “ admitted to me that they were to blame. Can’t understand all the 5 stars!

We had David from CIR come out and inspect possible hail damage from a 2022 storm. He was prompt and dependable. He did what he need to do in order to submit the claim to our insurance. We didn't have to do much work on our end. The process took about a month from start to finish (including claim), but we have a roof that is brand new, now and we are happy with the work from CIR! Install took 3 days, we have a pretty large roof (almost 4,000 sq foot house, so it was not a super easy job). David even came back out after the fact to inspect the work and make everything right that we had concerns with (one gutter got messed up and we found some cuts that were uneven). But, in the end, we are super happy with the company and their process/customer service. Thank you, CIR!

We had some wind damage to our roof from some recent storms this past year and I wasn't sure of the best way to get our roof fixed. Thankfully, Diego and Chas Kulbok with CIR knocked on my door and did they made replacing my roof so easy. Chas was very knowledgeable, courteous and available. I am always a bit skeptical when it roofing companies knock on my door, but was very pleasantly surprised with the experience with David and CIR Exteriors. They did an excellent job on replacing our new roof. They helped tremendously in working through the insurance company claims process. We have a fairly large house with a big roof and whole job took one day, start to finish. They showed up around 7 am and 11 hours later by 6 pm the job was done including the cleanup which was impressive. I would unequivocally recommend them to anyone.

We had a awesome and smooth process with CIR. We didn’t know what to expect or what to do with the storm damage. Unfortunately our neighborhood suffered from storm damage. As expected, several companies came knocking on my door. I was hesitant, as I did not feel comfortable engaging with any of them. Until, my neighbor referred me to David with CIR. David ensured that I was well equipped for the upcoming process. He inspected my roof and provided me with a full report of the damages. David’s due diligence and processes encouraged me to reach out to my insurance for an inspection. David took the time to be there, every step of the way, to ensure approval, and as expected, I was approved.
