Chim Chiney did an inspection for a new property I purchased. We needed much work and the work led by Ross was spectacular!

Had Chim Chimney come out to inspect a leak in my chimney cap. Highly recommend this company, great work very professional and knowledgeable. I had checked on other quotes for chimney cap replacement before speaking with Chim chimney, their estimate was very reasonable and quick services performed.

New cap was made and installed in less than One week. All looks great, Ross and Rutger did an awesome Job. Very happy with Chim Chimney❤️

We called Chim Chimney for a wood burning stove cleaning. Trey was so nice and explained what he was doing along the cleaning. He also came across something that needed to be fixed, He submitted all necessary information to his company and got us a quote for the cost to fix our problem, we didn't even know we had.

I called into the office to schedule a technician to quote me a price to reinstall my wood burning stovepipe after it would be taken down for construction of a new deck. I was quoted a price of $59 for a service fee. On Monday, 3/31 a technician was scheduled to be at my house from a 9-12 time slot so I took a vacation day from work to be home for the appointment. At 11:30 the office called and informed me that the technician needed to move the appointment to a time slot in the afternoon from 1-3. At 3:00 the office called to let me know the technician was not going to do my appointment that day and rescheduled to the next day with a time slot of 1-4 after I had to take the day off to be home and wasted my PTO. The next day the technician came out and looked at what he needed to see to provide me a quote, asked what our budget was (which was $1,000-$2,000 based on two other quotes we already received), and said he would provide a quote to reinstall my chimney pipe and then charged my wife $100 for the service call and left. I had to call three times to follow up after this in order to get a refund of the $40 that my wife was overcharged. On Friday at the end of the week I received the quote from Michael for a total cost of $22,000 and was told that if I wanted him to do the work I would have to buy a brand new stove, brand new materials, brand new pipe, and almost $700 in additional charges to use a card. I called to confirm that my quote was not accidentally switched with another customers and was told that was in fact my quote. I was also told that he wasn’t allowed by his companies legal department to touch anything at my house unless I only used his stove and supplies because mine wasn’t the desired type even though it was properly worked for 21 years in my home. This was a clear example of a dishonest technician who took advantage of a female by overcharging for a service call and then sending a quote to attempt to force her into purchasing all new equipment and a stove. Had the office or the technician been upfront and honest to say he would refuse to do the work or not be allowed by his legal team and the federal government we obviously would have not proceeded with scheduling a quote. Do yourself a favor and go with a company who employs honest workers who don’t try to take advantage of people and overcharge them only to provide them with bogus quotes that they know are over budget. Very disappointed for how my wife was treated by this company.

Well, this seems like a good company but they wanted to charge me $120 to give me an estimate to replace the current gas logs in our home. The representative I spoke to said this was a necessary inspection for safety. I’m all for safety and I’m happy to pay this fee once we have agreed on terms for the whole project. Charging a fee to bid on a job is a bit of a head scratcher.

From the first chimney inspection to the final repairs, I recommend Chim Chimney. All the guys were efficient, knowledgeable and professional. I had a great experience.

We’ve been using them since 2018 and they are great. Always friendly and professional. They give lots of details and provide solutions. They have done our regular dryer vent and fireplace cleanings as well as installed and rerouted a vent and fireplace cap for us.

Trey is highly professional and provided a very detailed inspection. His report was detailed in his findings and documented to his issues and concerns with my chimney. His repair plan provided me with several options. Trey was very good with answering all questions and providing me a better understanding to the issues. Ethan Davis did a great job cleaning and inspecting the fireplace and chimney. He inspected up on the roof, in the attic and showed me pics of inside the chimney all the way up.

Trey Hill was an excellent technician today during my chimney cleaning and inspection. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, and answered any questions that I had. Absolutely no questions were left unanswered, and the visible changes in the chimney sweep were noticeable via the pictures and the camera that he used. He kept the areas clean.
