Roof isn’t the most fun thing to spend $$ on, but Chet’s made it as painless as possible. The quote they provided was extremely reasonable/competitive. What we really appreciated was the communication/reliability throughout the process. They called and/or showed up when they said they were going to…every time. Their workers were diligent, quick, and courteous (cleaned up the job site every day, etc). There were no “surprises” when it came time to pay - final bill matched the original quote. Just an extremely positive experience from start to finish. Would recommend!

Had roof replaced and house painted and new gutters installed by Chet's in 2022. Cost competitive. More importantly follow up service for a ceiling leak was very prompt and no charge. They stand behind their work. Would recommend to anyone for all of their services without hesitation

This was more than a straight roof job. This roof has ten skylights. All skylights had to be raised to meet code. During the process, due to the age. Seven had to be replaced. They arrived on Monday and finished Wednesday. They left no mess, damage or problems. Easy to work with and very professional. I'm glad we went with Chet's. It was the right choice. After calling several roofing companies for a leak inspection and repair quote, I was disheartened by how they approached me with a sales pitch rather than addressing my actual issue. Chet's Roofing was my last call, and I'm so glad I reached out to them.

From the very beginning, Linda was absolutely amazing. She focused entirely on addressing the leak and finding solutions to help me, rather than trying to sell me something. Shane then came out to assess the situation. He was incredibly knowledgeable and provided me with various options, leaving the decision entirely up to me. The roofers from Chet's Roofing were exceptional. They were respectful of my family and property, maintaining a high level of professionalism throughout the project. Had a leaking roof, called Chet’s, who I previously used to put a roof on my former house. Someone came out to my house and said they weren’t sure about getting on my roof because it was steep, finally persuaded them to, they said they couldn’t see anything wrong and didn’t want to go in the attic to look further, told me to call they competitor. I did! They did a great job! I am very disappointed in Chet’s Roofing. Lazy estimator, blamed it on the owner of the company, I hope Chet sees this! Unfortunately, I will never use your company again…and to be clear, I had my skylight and flashing replaced by the company you recommended. Thanks for that!

Chet’s helped us through a very difficult time when we had a massive 130ft tree fall onto our house. We were expecting a new baby soon and the repairs were overwhelming, but from the minute we started working with Chet’s we were assured they would help us through the process, and they did! From tarping the house (multiple times due to high velocity winds) through the last day of painting and final touches, they were so kind and thoughtful and helped us through every single step. We couldn’t be happier with their quality of work and the attention to detail they provided. Contacted them for business and was greeted on the phone by a woman named Linda with an immediate rude response. Refused to answer any questions, or to talk to Chet or anyone for that matter. Refused to take a message or help out with any assistance and then hung up after 30 seconds. Extremely unprofessional, rude and ruined any hope of working with them.

We had a cedar shake roof that was in really bad shape. They came in ripped my roof off and put a new roof on. It looks beautiful. The crew was awesome, always on time, cleaned up everything every day. I would use them again if I ever need another roof. I this was the easiest company I have ever used. Really nice, always communicating with me. I definitely recommend Chets Roofing!

during the rains earlier in April we noticed a small leak coming down into our bathroom near the vent, so I contacted a water restoration company to come out and dry it out before any further damage was incurred. thankfully it was a small leak and they were able to get it dried out quickly. They recommended Chet's roofing to tarp the roof until the weather changed enough to make repairs.

Chet's came out same day, which I was grateful for and tarped the roof. Unfortunately what they did was tarp a full 25% of the roof, far more than was needed, they didn't ascertain the cause of the leak first, and as a result, they used over 80 anchor screws into my roof for the tarp. This was overkill in the extreme.

Once the attic was dry, I had them come out to bid the repair. They quoted me 3600.00 to replace my entire skylight. I could not imagine that the entire skylight needed to be replaced, so I got another quote. Their competitor came out and actually inspected the cause of the leak and found it to be non galvanized screws the builder used, which is pretty standard, for the skylight, and they had rusted in the bottom edge and that rust had allowed small amounts of water to come in. the repair was to replace the screws. minimum service charge.

unfortunately, my roof still had 80 holes in it from the tarp, and all those shingles had to be replaced. so instead of a small repair of around a thousand dollars, it became 2500.00, 1500.00 of which was due to Chet's overkill on tarping.

Additionally, when Chet's submitted their bill to the restoration company, they had doubled their bid amount. obviously expecting insurance to cover it without checking.

So, I am giving Chet's the score they got, because 1) they tried to scam my wife into agreeing to a repair that was not necessary, 2) because their tarp job caused more damage and cost more money to repair than the leak that brought them out in the first place, and 3) because they tried to upcharge the referring agency in order to pad their bill by double.

Do not use this company. there are plenty of more reputable roofing companies to choose from.

My realtor provides names of contractors she’s vetted. I’ve used about 10 of her recommendations and they’ve all been stellar – and I’m a VERY picky lady. Chet’s Roofing was no exception. I was set on putting in a skylight to get more light into my home, so I contacted Chet's Roofing through their website. Linda from Chet’s called me within 24 hours, and sent Lucas out w/in a day or two to look at my home.

Lucas was running a little late due to traffic. He called me to let me know that was the case and his estimated arrival time, which I appreciated. Lucas took his time and did a lot of measuring, inspecting, explaining and showing me how/where a skylight could be placed and the ramifications of each option. He discussed roof pitch, architectural styles, placement, lighting angles, the ‘tunnel effect,’ and options. I knew nothing about skylights and he explained and showed me visually how the skylight would look from the interior, how it would function, and all in layman’s terms which I could understand. What he said all made good sense. He also explained why he loves working for Chet’s and appreciates their business practices. I am blown away at his honesty and transparency. This guys knowledge base is phenomenal. Lucas emailed a quote to me the next morning. No hard sell, just information.

Oh, and the other 2 contractors I contacted for a quote? I’m still waiting to hear from them. I don’t need further quotes, if I go w/a skylight, Chet’s Roofing will be installing it.

After getting multiple quotes, I called Chets and Jeff came out and gave me a quote. He was very Professional and knowledgeable. Unlike the other company’s I got quotes from he was straight to the point and gave me a quote on the spot, other companies I felt like I was dealing with the a used car salesman, the price he gave was reasonable. Months later I had them come out to do the work. The crew was very nice and did a excellent job everyday cleaning up. My roof and new gutters looks great and I would recommend using them.

I reached out to Chet’s for bids on several items. They showed up when promised and gave me quotes timely, never frustrated with how many questions I asked.

After a few months of thinking I called them up and had them build my shed and put on a new roof. The shed was done quickly and very professionally and the roof to my home and shed were done in one day. They took care to cover my windows and plants where the dump truck was parked and cleaned up all the debris including running a magnet over my yard to catch any nails.

I highly recommend these guys not only for your roof but any project!

While not the cheapest, these guys are (from start to finish) worth every penny. So far they have done my gutters, fixed my chimney (after another company botched the job) and the wallet willing, they will soon to return to do my roof. Thank you for everything folks. Just had a terrific experience with this company... they did my roof 11 years ago and I recently noticed leaking in the eaves of the house in one spot and also water seeping down around my chimney. Chet's front office set up an appointment for me quickly, Shane came out a few minutes before his appointment time and let me describe what had been happening. He got up on the roof, was able to discern a couple of issues which he quickly fixed, at no charge. I've heard so many horror stories about roofers, but this was really a great experience. I could write a book on how pleased I am with Chet's Roof &Construction Co! I had several bids done on my home and Chet's beat them all...in some cases by Three and Four thousand dollars! The Scope of Work was more than a couple of the higher bids that I received! Their professionalism was on display from start to finish! Believe me when I say that I am a very picky person when it comes to stuff like this and I couldn't find fault throughout any of the process! Call for a quote on fixing leak around chimney. Guy came out and said he'd email a writen quote as requested. Quote never came. Called and requested the written quote a week later. Told they'd have the estimator send me the written quote. Been three weeks and still no quote. Not impressed.

I "DO NOT RECOMEND" Chet's Roofing, to start the estimate is a "I know exactly what you want" which no, they didnt. They showed up unannounced on they're own schedule, did half the work and left. They actually had to come back to finish. And no, the job was not complete, I'm still missing the feature I needed in place. My money was wasted, WILL NOT USE AGAIN AND DO NOT RECOMMEND. THIS SERVICE CAUSED GREAT GRIEF AT HOME. I WOULD RATE WITH ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE.

I've worked with Chet's roofing for years. I've recommended them to my clients and also used them for my personal home in the past. I just recently had them out to bid my personal home and they did a great job with the bid and explaining the work and choices available to me. I will hire them to do the work soon.
