We unfortunately had a house fire, and were in need of a team that was skilled in putting our house together and was able to communicate with our insurance company. Brad Blowers and Alex Gardner have showed up with excellence! I have been impressed by their good integrity and effective communication. They have put our house back together and walked us through a difficult process . They are extremely knowledgeable and kind, my family is so thankful and pleased.

Charter pretty much lived on my property while taking care of various issues and projects that came from the original GC. Don’t know what we would do without them!

The Special Projects Team came in with the expertise and flexibility to take over and lead our remodel to excellent results! We immediately knew we could trust the team of people and the company in general, and they did not dissapoint. Things do not always go to plan, and when presented with a few surprises (difficulties or delays) Tyri Bethea in the office, and especially Eddie Mullin as the on-site lead, went above and beyond, with excellent communication, transparency, and good advice, all while minimizing the impact to our schedule and wallet. Charter made access holes in our walls for some new wiring we were to have done. When the wiring was complete, Charter promptly came back, patched the holes, made the dry wall appear as new, painted and the walls are as good as new. We are very pleased by the work done by Charter Construction and their staff were very welcome in our home. We couldn’t be happier.

Charter Construction repaired my home after a house fire. The damages required that the house be taken down to the interior studs and rebuilt, including rebuilding the roof.

Dale the Project Manager and Brandin the Project Superintendent both kept me informed of the progress and were available for questions that came up, through both phone and text and were always prompt in getting back to me.

United Church in University Place selected Charter Construction to repair the 60+ year-old wooden bridge that connects our parking lot to the front door of the church. They weren’t the lowest bid, but the quality and timeliness of their work, and their willingness to work with us when issues arose justified our choice.

Charter helped my rebuild me kitchen after a water damage incident. The crew assigned to my job were hardworking , easy to communicate with, and always showed up when scheduled.

After suffering a water leak in my master bath I reached out to Charter Construction to assist in working with my insurance company and plans to bring it back to pre-loss condition. I worked closely with Lucas Liese in all aspects of the project. He kept the project on schedule and more importantly on budget.

We were so grateful to have had Charter Construction recommended to us after a complete house fire. During the tedious process of rebuilding, their communication was amazing, always available, thorough, and knowledgeable. Charter came right away after apartment was badly flooded in January. They worked diligently to get my place back to the way it was-only better with new flooring. Good to work with and excellent workmanship. I’m very pleased.

We had a great experience with Charter Construction. Our insurance adjuster recommended them, and communication was pretty much seamless with the three of us. Our job supervisor Lucas was on top of everything, and always kept me in the loop. He was highly organized. The sub contractors were reliable, and work was done in a timely manner. All my concerns were addressed and corrected when needed. I would highly recommend Charter Construction.

Charter Construction Repaired our home after the wildfire came through. I was extremely pleased with their attention to detail and workmanship especially their superintendent Lucas Liese. He was extremely easy to contact, addressed every question immediately or got the answers fast, coordinated all the subs and made sure they stayed on schedule as well as checking in daily to ensure the projects was moving along as planned and that we were satisfied with the work. If there were any issues, he addressed them immediately. I was a manager for 25 years, employees like Lucas are very rare to find, he represented Charter Construction extremely well and they are very fortunate to have an employee of his skill & character. I would hire Charter Construction again in a second if needed, and you should too!

I worked with Charter Construction daily for approximately 10 months on the first brick building to be seismically upgraded in the City of Seattle, in addition to a substantial alteration.

The Charter team was professional throughout the entire progress of the renovation. They were hard working, monitored every detail, resolved issues they encountered and kept me informed

Everyone from Charter Construction that I have met is above board, considerate, knowledgeable, and helpful.
They have brought in subcontractors who have done a quality job, are on time, and considerate.

Amy Stevens and her team did an amazing job on the Sunset Ridge pool house renovation! It looks amazing! The Association received excellent communication throughout the entire project and received the best service as always! When in doubt, Charter it out!

During Covid, Charter Construction performed admirably over many months doing a complete envelope re-cladding project for our 22-unit townhouse community. This included stripping off the entire exterior and replacing it with an updated materials for a new modern look. All during construction, residents remained in their homes. Charter was communicative with homeowners and townhouse board all through the challenging project. The outcome was superb. Moreover, Charter followed-up on a few adjustments, at no further cost, even after some warranties expired.

I have been working with Charter Construction on many of their building repair projects and they are great to work with! Their project managers are energetic and a pleasure to be around. I had an air exchanger replaced in my entryway ceiling. While changing it the installer removed the beams which the drywall needed to be attached to.
Scott & his crew Mauro (drywall), & Donnie (painter) were introduced to me by Scott. The entire crew were courteous & always arriving on time & cleaning up after themselves.

Our recent condo remodel with Charter Construction went well under the direction of James. It was great to have a general contractor that did an excellent job choosing and managing sub-contractors. It was a long process, but well worth the final product. Our new fireplace is truly a work of art.

We had a wonderful experience working with the Charter Custom Homes team! Our firm designed a renovation of a residential unit in a luxury high-rise tower in downtown Seattle. The CCH team had worked in the tower before, and they knew of the existing building conditions and how to navigate the HOA review process. The craftsmanship of the finished unit was high quality, and everything came together seamlessly – large format tile flooring, stone slab fabrication, custom architectural woodwork, custom wall finishes, and decorative lighting. Working with John Ellertson, James Mayther, and the team was a pleasure and a positive experience.

Charter Construction just wrapped up a major overhaul of our condo complex. They did a great job on the restoration. It looks wonderful. They used quality products (we checked them out) and the workmanship was excellent —we were able to observed the process because we continued to live in our units for the duration of the project. I appreciated how easy it was to work with the leadership team and how responsive they were to our requests. The ‘on the ground crew’ was great! I can’t imagine a nicer, more respectful or more talented and hard-working group of people. This was scheduled to be a 13 month project and they came in two months early (we did have a long stretch of good weather) and on budget.

Supervisors at all levels worked well together and were responsive to our questions and fixed problems quickly. All personnel were polite and professional. The quality of work was outstanding. Both times we have worked with Charter have been the same. Good company to work with in trying times.

Charter Construction has done many projects at our condo building - some planned, some on an emergency basis, some for the building as a whole, some for individual unit-owners. Every single one of them has been professionally conducted, well executed and the work done to a very high standard. Whether the job is one day or several months they bring the same high level of communication and management, along with an appreciated good attitude. They are also very good about providing very clear proposals - with an well earned reputation for coming in on the high side with proposals but delivering actual invoices that are much lower as they lock in prices, hours and, over time, understand the structure more. We really appreciate the combination of communication, high quality and very competitive prices from Charter. Ultimately though we most appreciate that their consistent effort has resulted in a structure we trust and can be relied upon in all conditions.

We have been so pleased with the service received from Charter Construction. We have used them at several different properties for projects ranging from urgent support beam work to porch and column work on an historic property to rebuilding a rooftop walkway that overlooks the lake. Their crews have done great work some challenging logistics. They are professional and leave the area clean and free of debris. Our owners appreciate their courtesy during the project. Justin Totten is great to work with. He is always responsive to questions before, during and after the project. His experience and insight are greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!!

Following a major storm my condominium complex experience significant water intrusion. Charter Construction was employed to make the situation right for the impacted residents. I can safely say the crew did an excellent job in repairing my unit. Before work began we were walked through exactly what the damage was and what we could expect to be taken care of. Where there were choices we could make we were given a clear set of options available to us, or in cases where we had certain products we wanted to use we were allowed to do so. We've been very pleased with the quality of the work and with the professionalism of the competent crew. Jody

Terrible company! Charter did "renovation for our 3 buildings in Bothell, WA called Cedar Crest II and what a nightmare we had...
No they delay the construction for a long time but now we ended up with a HUGE, much larger bill than we, homeowners expected and Charter even put a lien on all homeowners!!! What a crooks!!!

Charter Construction does a nice job with a tasteful price on projects large and small. The staff makes this company what it is. With Charter Constructions superb knowledge and over 500 employees , you can count on a great job done right.

We recently had the opportunity to do a large remodel of our home. When looking around at several different contractors we ended up choosing Charter Construction. Not only did they provide us with the most thorough estimate they also seemed the least worried about themselves and more worried about making sure we were happy with end product.

As most remodels go, things were not always perfect or as planned however they always provided insight and expert advice on what options we had, including in house architectural designs to ensure our enjoyment of our home for many years to come. They employee extremely knowledgeable staff that are in touch with current designs and have an unbelievable amount of resources. We had the opportunity to work with many different subcontractors and in-house employees (Brian Dennis, Jon Groesbeck, Michael Ritchie, James Morse, Genna Kolosov) they use. We were truly blown away at the level of respect they showed to our home even though it was in such disarray (even the music they played was appropriate as we have young children who would like to check on the progress and show up unannounced to Charter).

I will definitely be referring Charter Construction to everyone I know who stands in need of a good quality, honest contractor.

Do not hire this dishonest unprofessional company! Aimee Loveall is the worst of them all, takes zero responsibility, instead her goal is to try and prove they aren't liable. They couldn't find workers to complete stuff, then when they did they would give a 24 hour notice such as entering your unit or that your entire deck needs to be cleared.

<br>Work is garbage quality at best. Deck refinish is already peeling after a month, paint on stairs is peeling, and putty/silicon is their best aid for sloppy work.

<br>They also broke so much stuff, to list a few: sidewalk curb destroyed, landscape ruined from tools and equipment, sprinklers broken, erossion caused 6 inches of ground to wash away because they didn't put up gutters for months, broke my doorframe and just glued/patch it back together, damanged new rails installed, and more. Surprised they haven't been sued.

Truly a dishonest outfit. Working on our condo complex in Bothell and the amount of issues is incredible. They enter units without permission, use toilets and claim it was not them. They can't even keep their own staff, the entire siding crew left, now the project is weeks behind. HOA's do not hire this company!!!!

Charter Construction built my family the most amazing custom home on Mercer Island. We absolutely Love it. Their construction Services include remediation, restoration, reconstruction, commercial building, and custom homes. The team that worked for us was honest and professional and did exactly what we asked for. Yes, the project had some stumbling blocks, but it wasn't anything Charter couldn't fix and when all was said and done, we got what we wanted and we are so delighted in the experience. This year, I plan on remodeling another home with them and the project will be my dream home and I wouldn't trust that with any other company after what they did for my family. Thank you

These guys laminated the floors on the vacant condo below us on a Friday and left all the doors and windows locked forcing US to breath the solvent fumes. Even with all the windows and doors open (during the winter time) we still could not escape the fumes. Even our filtered water had to be dumped. Then on Monday I inform them of the problem and they do NOTHING about it for two more days. On Wednesday I throw a fit and insist that I will call OSHA if the problem is not dealt with (by leaving the windows open). The managers (Lonnie) then tells me the fumes aren't toxic and that they can't leave the windows open because they leave their tools in their at night.

I can't believe I had to tell them to remove the tools if they were concerned about them being stolen (BTW, this is on the OHSU campus), but that we shouldn't have to suffer the fumes from their work, toxic or not.

Simply put, these guys DO NOT care about the health of others.

Stay away from Charter! This company was subcontracted under Bales to do a repair to a window/siding leak near our fireplace; they charged us for it and told us the repair was complete. Then when the wall releaked again they told us they had informed us the repair they did in the first place was actually incomplete and that we should have called another company to finish the job and caulk (they of course never told us it was incomplete; why would they leave a job half finished??). Then when we asked them to come inspect the wall that re-leaked they said it had resaturated to 56% (compared to 3% in dry walls around it); they said indeed it had leaked again where they had repaired and they would follow-up. Then a week later I got a call from a different guy at the company saying that they never actually saw a leak where they had repaired before and the wall was "as dry as a bone". These people are shady and don't take responsibility for their work. I am filing a complaint against them with the BBB and their insurance but DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME.

There is nothing ethical or Heroic about this company in anyway.

There people are lazy, over promise, often verbally, and under deliver, in providing the service they are contracted for.

There Project Managers are very rude, and often make excuses about why there was no one at the job site, or why they couldn't return a simple phone call, and have a reputation for not paying the vendors, as they are demanding monies from the people who hire them to do the job they bid on, and contracted to perform.

I would not recommend working with this company, as they have proven to not provide the work they are contracted to perform, nor will it be done in the timely manner that has been agreed upon in writing, delaying you from opening your doors to do business.
