We received two bids to have the exterior of a home painted and the decks and a fence stained in anticipation of selling the home. CertaPro’s bid was markedly less than another local painting company’s bid. They end result greatly exceeded our expectations, especially given this home was built in the ‘30s. Jeff was delightful to work with. They also did a remarkable job cleaning up after completion. I highly recommend this company.

This team was wonderful. They were respectful and communicative. They showed up when they said they would, discussed changes that needed to be made and finished the job quickly. I plan to hire them again and would recommend them to anyone.

Had the exterior of my condo painted. From start to finish, I experienced quality and prompt service. Jeff, the estimator came out to walk me through step-by-step the process and arrived together with the contractor, the day the project started to go over again the plan and answer any questions I had. The contractor selected for the job was on time and communicative about coming/going. He took his time with the prep work to ensure longevity. I am VERY pleased with the results, but most importantly my neighbors in my complex love the work as it really stands out and looks professional!

They did a great job, no hesitation. Jeff met me at the house right away for a consult then provided a competitive bid. As soon as my seller was ready to have the home painted, CertaPro was there immediately and did a great job. I reccomemd them.

Completion of the project took FOREVER! Workers did not show up consistently so a quoted 4 day project took over 4 weeks. The workers seem nice but they get dropped off and sometimes are not sure what to do. It seemed like the supplies were not here.
Also, we were informed that if they scrape paint chips, clean up is NOT included. I say IF they scrape because we are likely going to have to do all the exterior painting over again, since it looks terrible and now has a new coat of paint quickly slapped over the peeling paint. They also don't pay a lot of attention to getting paint all on surfaces which are not covered properly and scratching floors. We were disappointed and would not suggest using this company.

Absolutely fantastic business. CertaPro was quick to schedule, their work was very quick and thorough,and they still went above and beyond to fix some issues that I feel many paint companies would literally paint over. I couldn't recommend this company enough.

We had our house and a huge fence painted/stained. It all looks FANTASTIC!!! The CertaPro painters exceeded our expectations to the max!!! We didn't expect perfection -- we just wanted the house and fence to look better. However, we got perfection!!! Jeff was so patient with us making sure the contract was written exactly how we wanted the work done and Tasha, the manager, was very flexible and helpful to work with. The painters/workers were extremely courteous and careful with the landscaping. They cleaned up any mess and left our property gleaming! We are so proud of our house and yard! CertaPro did a fantastic job with the exterior paint project for our house. Mr. Cervantes, the painter, and his son did an exceptionally polished job. The process was fascinating to watch, and Mr. Cervantes took the time to explain what they had done and what the next step would be. Before leaving each day, he walked us around the house to show us the progress. These updates and explanations were very helpful, providing us with great insights. The project was completed in three and a half days, and we are EXTREMELY SATISFIED with the service and the end result. Our house looks brand new and BRIGHT!!!! The entire team (Jeff, Tasha, and Adam) was very quick to respond to inquiries, whether via email, phone, or text. We are receiving compliments from the neighborhood as they, too, watched the painting project progress. The team is very clean and organized. I highly recommend CertaPro!

All work was performed professionally and met our established schedule. Work crew was easy to communicate with and addressed all of our questions.

Office support staff were knowledgeable of the work (documented estimate) to be performed and was able to answer our questions and addressed our needs.

In the future, when I need have my house re-painted CertaPro Painters will be requested to provide another estimate.

We recently had our home interior painted by certa pro. Over all the job was well done. We have lots of woodwork that we wanted to maintain and not have painted, as well as hardwood floors that we wanted not have drips etc on. This was all done well. It took about 5 days with the crew to finish. We were happy that they could start with in our time frame and finish in the same time frame. I would recommend them for future work.

Craig is a stellar human. The entire process played out exactly as he said it would. We will definitely be using CertaPro in the future.

STOP yourself from hiring CertaPro of Yakima! My exterior job resulted in peeling paint due to poor/no preparation of the soffits. When I went back on them to fix the issue Debbie Champion sent me a bid for an additional $2,000+ to fix their mess! Unbelievable! She is not responsive to customers and doesn’t care about making them happy by completing a quality job. I was WAS a repeat customer and this is how I was treated when an issue arose. She seems to rely on volume, not quality. I hired another painting company to fix their mess. I was not about to give her another dime. I do NOT recommend you hire them. It would be worth your while to keep looking.

Jeff not only came out and gave a professional bid in a timely manner, he also worked with CMC construction and Columbia Plateau Roofing personnel to determine who would do what, when, to make sure the job was done in a timely manner. Couldn’t have imagined loving our home more~but we do!!❤️

Our home had its challenges being an older house with much loose/peeling lead paint. We had many site meetings as the exact scope of work had changed multiple times at our request. Jeff and Debbie were prompt with responses and did a great job seeing the project through including top of the line primer/paint product. The paint crew communicated well, knew what they were doing and did a quality job; we are very pleased with the product. May be five stars after we see how the warranty period goes?!

The job was done well ahead of schedule and was of high quality. I was going to do the work myself, but it was well worth the money to have CertaPro do it. Based on my experience I would recommend their services!

Debbie is very responsive and attentive. Crew was always on time and cleaned up every day after they were done. After the crew was done, we walked around to make sure that we were happy with the results - found just a few areas that need touching up and they were quickly addressed. Have used CertaPro for both exterior and interior paint projects and would highly recommend their service.

Worst customer service in the valley hands down. They hired some guy from out of the area to come make a mess of my property. The paint job didn’t even hold up for a year, and they refused to honor their warranty. They left a paint mess on my driveway and in my yard both. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, you have been warned.

Painters were wonderful. They listened to my comments , took time to clarify points and answer questions. My house and garage look wonderful. I am getting lots of comments on professional work and how fast it was completed.

Updated July 2024 project . Until I can find out if I can leave a fresh review for our most current experience with them. We filed a case with the Better Business Bureau and CertaPro has failed to respond to them. Upon the BBB's recommendation we have also just filed with the Attorney General.

After the owner Craig's initial response to us promising to review the pictures and all of the information he has avoided our emails, avoided our phone calls and just completely left us hanging.

They failed to stick to the discussed and promised time-frames.

CertaPro failed to get the right paint type and colors.

CertaPro failed to send a crew. But instead sent one person who did a REALLY bad job painting and a really bad job texture and skim coating. He didn't paint a ceiling in one room. He painted another ceiling in another room the same color as the walls. He didn't paint a closest. He painted all the walls with the wrong paint and instead of catching it, he continued and now we have walls that don't match because are shiny and some are matte. His texture work was terrible in a lot of areas and missing in a lot of areas. And not enough paint was put over the texture work so we can see the texture through the paint. He also overpainted a lot of areas and missed a lot of spots and did not correct. We had put down brand new carpets and CertaPro failed to tent and drop cloth as discussed when they were painting and sanding so a fine powder got all over the floor all over the carpets all over the countertops and in the filters and motors of our appliances. Besides a terrible paint job using the wrong color and the wrong type of paint they didn't put any of the switch plates back on the wall either. When when we checked in with them throughout this whole process alerting Tasha and Jeff of falling short on finishing on time for health reasons of needing to off gas and air out before move-in day they still failed to bring more crew members in to help. They were not done until late the night before move-in day. I have reached out through email and phone calls and the owner Craig Barnes has still not responded. We took pictures as he requested. This is our second mishap with this company we have learned our lesson. We will not use CertaPro again. This is the third time now I'm having a really bad experience with this company. And we highly recommend that you find somebody else. They just don't care. I was also promised $100 Starbucks card and I did not receive that as well from their salesperson Jeff. We are seeking a full refund. And the most important thing is that my health and the health of my 16-year-old pug could not be around the fumes from the paint w/ an airing out first and they knew it from the very beginning before they even step foot in our house. The morning after we moved in my 16-year-old pug's trachea collapsed & she passed away 2 weeks later. Our hearts are shattered and this could have been avoided had they kept their word.

Below this line is my previous experiences and feedback with this company. This company should come with bold letters WARNING! ⚠️

We hired CertaPro in Yakima in 2020 based on their feedback on google reviews. At first we found them to be very prompt, kind and professional. They did a pretty good job on the inside of the house. There was a little confusion in that they didn't complete a part of the job that we hired them to do but with just a few phone calls that was cleared up for the inside of the house. Because of their pricing and the fact that they did correct their mistakes for the inside painting issues we decided to trust them again and hire them in 2023 to paint the outside of our house. That project became a nightmare. Once again we had to make a lot of phone calls and emails to get someone to come and correct all their mistakes. And then the fresh paint started peeling off the outside of our house because they did not prepare our home correctly. They kept putting us off. Finally after the spring of the next year they decided to come out and fix the problems and finish their work.

I have used Certapro both and my home and office. The crews are efficient and do good work. Debbie and Jeff are very professional. Highly recommend.
