And then they explain when they can return to do the project, how long it will take etc. They do what they say they will and when! These are very good people. These are good business people.

I have a standing seam metal roof that started leaking into the room below. Capitol Roofing told me honestly that the roof didn't need to be "redone" in that area, it could instead be "fixed." I really appreciate this. Another person might have climbed up on the roof and said that the problem required re-roofing. A lot of restaurants, car places, landscapers etc these days try to "upsell" on every project. I know that small jobs are not very profitable, but a very happy customer will return for the larger projects, and happy customers also tell their friends (and think to write reviews). I am a very happy customer.

I read a lot of reviews before calling capitol Roofing, and I have never replaced a roof in teh area and the friends that I asked didn't have any recommendations. The area where the roof leaked won't last another decade, I know that. I will redo the entire roof when I can and I will ONLY call capitol roofing.

Because reviews are used by many people, like me, to make decisions about products and services, I don't write them unless a place is exceptionally good or dangerously bad. If something is just "ok" I don't say anything at all. Capitol Roofing is not ok" it is fantastic, and dealing with a company that returns calls (around the holidays even!) AND is honest and reliable and doing high quality work, is a dream.

I called John on a Thursday morning to ask if he was able to help with some roof damage on one of our storage building. He was on a job a town away from us ,within a few hours he was looking at my damage. He arrived on time the following day and completed the job better than expected. Highly recommend Capitol Roofing

We are so pleased with Capitol Roofing. We had a leak coming down inside the house on the back wall of a built-in book case up against the chimney. We weren't sure if the chimney needed to be re-caulked or if there was a more serious issue with our 20-year old standing seam roof. Not only did a real person--John Danko, owner--answer the phone when I called, but he found a way to fit us in to his already very busy schedule. With so many businesses stretched to their limits, John responded to our call and communicated back and forth with us on several occasions to make sure he got us in. Top Shelf service from Capital Roofing! Communications were excellent. Showed up when they said they would, and did an outstanding job. They were even able to match the roofing tiles from a roof that was last done in 2016! Site was left in pristine condition. Definitely 5 stars!!

5 Stars absolutely! Capitol Roofing, Inc. completed our work for FREE. I had a new roof installed about 6 years. Shingles started sliding off the roof and the original roofing contractor at first refused to come and reinstall the shingles, then finally came and sent us a bill. The shingles slid off again, so we called a different roofing contractor who quoted a high estimate, which we reluctantly accepted. The second contractor never showed up to complete the work. We called a third roofing contractor, Capitol Roofing, Inc. John returned our call in 24 hours. Within a week, John came by the house to see the shingles sliding off our roof. Then he said he would complete the work for free. We insisted on paying something. John insisted that there would be no charge, instead, he said to write a review. We had skylights that were leaking that we wanted to possibly close up. John was incredibly professional and very knowledgeable while giving us several options. We decided to close the skylights and it was in our best interest to do all new shingles on that plane of the roof. John’s team arrived when they said they would and finished when promised. The entire area was left exactly the way they found it, which is difficult when you’re removing shingles. Capitol Roofing is an excellent roofing company. Fair prices, experienced people from the top on down to the actual roofers..Our roof took two ten hour days and when the trucks were pulling out of our driveway our house and grounds were absolutely spotless. All of John’s crew were very polite and the hardest workers I have ever seen..Can’t go wrong with Capitol!

John's crew replaced our roof this past spring. The quality of the work was excellent, and we were very happy with the results. Our roof looks great and their clean-up was excellent. We were fortunate enough to have two crews on our job when another job that day got delayed, and these guys got our entire house, breezeway and garage done in one day! Everybody works hard and continuously; there's no standing around jaw-boning! They even got rid of two runs of metal flashing where the breezeway meets the garage and "wove" the shingles together. It looks really awesome. Our neighbor (a retired contractor) was so impressed that he used them too!

Working with John was an excellent experience. Quick clean and nice crew! They leave your house and landscape just like they found it. It is amazing to see how quick they work. They found a problem with my porch area roof, and were able to fix on the spot! The process from beginning to end was surprisingly seamless- I would definitely recommend.

Can't say enough good things about John Danca and Capitol Roofing in New London, N.H. I have been dealing with leak in my metal roof. John went into the attic to try and trace the origin of it. The leak was originating from around the plumbing vent pipe going through the roof. John did a thorough job of sealing outside around the pipe and he determined the problem was coming from a crack in the pipe. The pipe had also settled over the years and it was preventing the pipe from draining correctly. John sealed the the crack in the pipe and also elevated it so any water that got inside the pipe from the outside would end up draining down into the plumbing in the basement. John also did some preventive work around the chimney to ensure it would not be a problem down the road. Highly recommend Capitol Roofing for any roof job be it putting a new roof on or repairing a leak in a roof. John is great at explaining what he'll be doing and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. His pricing is very fair and he isn't satisfied with the project till you are.
