This was my first time having to go through the insurance claim process from recent hail storm and I am so glad I was referred by a friend to the team at Capitol. From start to finish the process was so well explained and executed. Jim Morrison and Matt were the most professional team navigating replacing my roof (in one day), gutters, siding, windows, and painting my entire house. Their communication, cleanliness, and timeliness far exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them if you’re in the same situation.

This company is amazing! We did our homework looking for a roofing company. Capitol Roofing was recommended by a friend who had great results with them. We did also and could not be happier with our new roof. They completed the job in one day and Jim, the sales manager, was so professional. Tremendous service. Matt came to our house within 12 hours of our call after we found a leak, and he diagnosed the problem instantly and didn't try to gouge us on price. The owner, Matt, is an excellent contractor. He worked on two roofs for us -- one on my personal Residence , and one on a 4-plex rental property. Due to a snafu by the insurance company, the rental property coverage got mired down in a miasma of bureaucracy and miscommunication. I lost count of how many calls and emails and people we talked to before finally getting it resolved. During that time, Matt was out a significant amount of money but he remained patient and friendly throughout the process. In addition, his subcontractors were timely, friendly and competent. Matt came out on short notice as we are closing on the sale of our house the following day and we needed a quick fix to a couple shingles that during a rain storm made a small leak. We hired Capitol Exterior, following the recommendation from our neighbour, to do some repairs due to last summer hail storm. The repairs involved replacing skylights, gutters and new shingles on the roof, to which we added painting exterior wood pannels. and gutter guards Matt Moomaw coordinated all the team work, and did all the required work with the Insurance, which made things much easier for us. Matt was always checking all the work while it was being done and always answered our questions. Overall, we are very happy with the work that has been done,

Excellent crew. Matt and his crew at Capitol Exterior roofed a remodel for me in the mountains at 9000 feet. I decided to go with Grace Ice & Water Shield on the entire field of roof rather than felt paper. They installed the Grace at no extra charge which is a gift because it is trickier to install and takes longer than just felt paper. They did an excellent job of tying in with the existing shingles (partial roofing) and the shingles matched perfectly. Matt is easy to work with and very flexible, understanding that weather and other factors affect scheduling. I will definitely go with Capitol Exterior for roof and siding for future projects. Highly recommended.

Matt was an exceptionally good contractor to work with! Reliable, responsive, good communicator, very professional.
He was a second estimate, and the first one completely missed the rotted gutters, which were leaking and causing damage to the siding of the house. I was relieved to find the cause and we added new gutters to the job.

Later I had the chance to go up on my new roof with him and he explained how he had remediated the known weak spots, and actually improved the installation to meet newer building codes. The quality of the materials and workmanship were first class.
