Jim and Judy have taken amazing care of our yard. When we moved in, the ground was compacted and draining poorly with tons of weeds, which resulted in standing water even when we had brief rains. Jim fixed our drainage and compaction with liquid and core aeration, we hardly ever have soggy spots in the yard anymore except in the hardest rainstorms. We have very few weeds, and the grass is soft and wonderful to walk in barefoot which has made our yard so enjoyable for our kids to play in. Our property has a stream that runs to a more significant waterway, so it was important to me to not be over fertilizing or widespread spraying herbicides. Yards Done Right has helped us have an enjoyable yard without worrying about excessive runoff. I highly recommend!

Noah and his crew recently did a wonderful job re-doing our entire front yard. Yards Done Right exceeded my expectations and hopes. I told Noah what we wanted and he made a suggestion that was even better. When problems arose due to poor drainage on our property Noah’s team found them selves literally stuck in the mud. Noah came up with a plan to deal with the poor drainage. Since we had copious amount of rain last fall I am happy to say the two dry wells that were installed are doing their job.
The fun part of the process was picking out the trees and plants for our garden area. We enjoyed the beauty of this all last summer.

We had Yards Done Right do a landscaping overhaul at our business. The existing landscaping was big bushes and not very welcoming. We had a landscape designer draft up blueprints and hired Yards Done Right to do the job. They did a great job following the blueprints, discussing changes with me based on the land, costs, drainage, etc. We had some issues with equipment which did put up behind schedule and overall the process took a few months to complete. We would have liked a little more communication when things were behind schedule but overall we felt like the whole crew did a great job. We have now hired the company to maintain the landscaping and the property looks to much more open and inviting.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Noah and his team. We waited 20 years and numerous quotes from various local landscape businesses to improve our property. We are tremendously HAPPY with his Teams efforts. Their efforts increased the value of the property, but more importantly, the yard just looks Super. Really appreciated the EFFORT.

Noah and his team are super helpful and friendly. They spent several days installing our sprinkler systems in our existing front and back yards. They listened to what we wanted and worked within our budget. Noah is quick to respond and does not hesitated to come help with questions, sprinkler head adjustments, educating us on the equipment and system, and to ensure our system is running as efficiently as possible.

I'll start by saying that so many of my neighbors love my newly landscaped area! Noah was so amazingly helpful and patient while we planned. He definitely knows his way around plants and flowers.

Yards Done Right worked for 6 days to repair our sprinkler system, to put in new plants and beauty bark, to put new sod in our backyard, and to add hardscape around a flower bed. Same day response, great communication, designed, included me at the nursery, team was so nice, they all went above and beyond and turned my weed-filled lawn into a beautiful yard. Nothing but great things to say! I used this company to get a sod installation to repair so holes my dog dug in the yard of my rental property. Noah did great work! He was quick, efficient, and was very responsive to my messages and question.

I highly recommend Yards Done Right. Noah and his team recently did a major landscaping renovation on our front yard and a large gravel fire pit area in the back yard.  Included were multiple plant beds, sod, lots of plastic edging, a gravel sidewalk and two flag stone paths.  As part of the excavation, they installed two new drain boxes with corrugated pipe, and tied those in to a gutter downspout.  The key differences I found in working with Noah are his responsiveness, his willingness to work with his clients as things come up during the project, and his follow up throughout the entire process.  In today's environment, where quality contractors are difficult to find and sometimes have the attitude that they're doing you a favor by accepting your project, I found Noah's style and work ethic refreshing.  We have some more work to be done to complete our project and are looking forward to having Noah out again in September.  I'll follow up when everything is completed.

Noah and Yards Done Right crew are excellent and we enthusiastically recommend them. We had them install a paver patio and firepit; level the yard area, install a retaining wall and lay sod; and create a berm and plants/boulders vignette. We had an open house scheduled for Sun July 3 and asked if there was any way they could have the work mostly done by then so we could use the patio and lawn. They worked diligently the week before, even staying late Fri & Sat night to finish up. And they didn't compromise the quality of the projects - it's excellent. My entire property was overgrown with ivy. After 3 years of trying to keep it at bay, I knew I had to hire a professional. Yards Done Right gave me the best plan on the removal (I had 2 other services look at it).

This is our first experience using a professional landscape company.

We hired Noah and the crew from Yards Done Right to fulfill my vision for a beautiful setting for our niece's wedding, which we hosted in early August in our back yard.

They were polite, pleasant, hard-working, thorough, and kept to my deadline.

Until our chance meeting at a landscape products yard in Lacey, I desperately wanted a landscaper to even return my phone call or web inquiry form. Noah heard my plea for help, made a site visit and provided a quote -- for a property outside his service area -- all within a week. This was around Memorial Day, and work began the last week of July.

The crew removed and disposed of an unsightly firepit, replacing it with sod. They beautified the beds and plantings, and added a keyhole garden near the driveway. They relocated several shrubs to enhance our gazebo, and also replaced a tree and shrubs which died after June's searing 108F temperatures. But the picture attached is my favorite project-- a patio of Dublin Cobble around the fountain at our front entrance. We now have a table and chairs near the fountain, and love to read, sit in the afternoon sun, or enjoy a glass of wine or meal al-fresco in a little spot that reminds us of Italy.

As the crew dug in to several projects, of course my husband and I thought of more things we wanted done, including sealing the back patio, and converting our rock beds to mulched beds, and Noah made time to accomplish those jobs.

I didn't know enough about landscaping to guess how much it would cost. Also, "scope creep" is a real thing, and before you know it, you've sailed past your budget. In the end, though, we're deeply satisfied with the work done, and have no qualms with the price we paid. We're grateful for the relationship of trust we've begun with a fine landscaper and his company. This beautiful patio enhances our home and adds to its value. And we know who will get our business when we want to upgrade the back patio with a cooking island, pergola, and formal fireplace.

We needed to replace an old patio and arbor and called several landscaping companies. Noah was the only one to return our call. He quickly reached and set an appointment for an estimate. He provided the estimate within a couple days of visiting our site and communicated clearly and thoroughly covering all the factors involved in the laying of the patio and installing a pergola. His detailed estimate included materials, labor, disposal, and a timeline. From start to finish Noah and his crew were very thoughtful and respectful of the Covid situation and communicated all the steps and days involved to complete the project. They worked so hard and were still fussing with small details that we hadn’t even noticed until the job was done to their standards. After a few very difficult and busy months right at the start of spring, I was left with a very unruly, overgrown lawn, so I decided to seek out a service to help me get it to a manageable state.

I contacted a number of local services, and many of them were either booked up (understandable,) or didn't even get back to me at all. Finally, Yards Done Right gave me a call, and we booked an appointment! The woman I spoke to initially was very friendly and sweet, so right out the gate, I was feeling much less frustrated than I had been, by the situation. Within the time frame she gave me (around a week,) I got a call from Noah, the owner, to get some idea of what they would be working with. He gave me a quote, and we scheduled a time for a couple of his guys to come out.

The staff that came was efficient, attentive, and knowledgeable. The main one I spoke to (I think it was Mike,) was straightforward and set expectations well. The work was done quick, and then Mike was kind enough to do a walkthrough of my property to answer some questions I had, and give me some advice on maintenance of my landscaping, and educational resources for the plant life around my new home.

My husband and I chose not to continue with a contract, but I'm still very grateful for their help. I can't speak to the value of the service, as I hadn't ever hired anyone to do this kind of work before, but what I can say is that for the work done, I felt comfortable with the price. No regrets here!

Just a fairly small landscaping job, although the back yard has been destroyed by dogs. They leveled it out and replaced with new bark. Using them again in FEb for new sod in back yard before we put house on the market.

Noah and his very competent crew from YDR basically re-landscaped our front yard . . . a fairly major undertaking. From the estimate to the completed work, my wife and I were extremely pleased with the effort, their attention to detail, their willingness to work out some design concerns, even to following on some of the original work I had started many years ago. They made a number of excellent suggestions and we incorporated those into the final design. The results are great, with smaller lawn (but nicer), continuation of the raised block borders, strategically placed specimen rocks, and numerous native plantings that we desired.

This company did quality work and were willing to work with me on issues that came up. They installed a sprinkling system; a new sod lawn; a new chain link sliding gate; some new pavers; and cleared an area that had overgrown with ivy and holly. Also did some landscaping and with new plantings.

We needed work done ASAP such that the city would issue a certificate of inspection and allow us to move into our new house. We called Noah and he had a team on-site within three hours. Yards Done Right replaced all of my sprinkler valves and installed a backflow preventer in less than a day. Excellent craftsmanship evident in the finished product. Reasonably priced. I recommend them highly.

I have used this firm for about three years. I’m hearing more and more compliments from neighbors about my yard. I think the secret is that Noah has his team areate, fertilize and reseed the lawn a couple times per year. The grass is getting thicker with fewer weeds and moss. It takes time, but the results are well worth it.

Although circumstances caused a delay in the start of the project, Noah's crew did a fine job of preparing for and laying the sod in my back yard. At this moment I am looking out at a lush green yard. They guys were careful and thorough with every step of the process. I am pleased with the result.

Noah is a nice guy. Unfortunately he made promises he couldn't keep. He bid for the job, began the work, made promises, created and signed a contract, then instead of honoring his word, he decided that the job was too much for him (after he did the hardest part!). It's too bad because he has the desire and enthusiasm to run a great business. I interviewed 5 landscapers and decided on noah, not because he was the cheapest but because he had the right attitude and willingness. I was wrong.

Yards Done Right offered the best price for basic weekly mowing of all the places I called in the Olympia area. Don't expect big business professionalism but they do great work!
