We used Capitol Improvements to replace the room and gutters on our house. Lance came and did a thorough walk-through, explained our options and pricing, and provided lots of great information. He answered my questions and didn't try to pressure me into signing that day. After getting some additional quotes we decided to go with Capitol Improvements. Scheduling was quick and the work crews did excellent work. A few neighbors also remarked about the great work of the team, working into the night to get the job done in one day. They also provided pictures on their client portal so I could see the shape of the roof before they started, during, and after completion. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely loved this company, from the initial phone call to the very end everything was flawless. We had gotten several quotes from other companies and this one was so upfront, quick and did not try to upsell us on unnecessary items like the others did. They have amazing warranty and provided pictures of the roof while they replaced all the old parts and to show the quality of the work they did. I probably had my roof installed on the hottest day in July but that crew got it done in one day all hands on deck. I recently had my roof replaced and am so happy with the decision I made to go with Capitol Improvements. Capitol Improvements is a family owned company that really cares about their customers. The owner, Patrick (Pat) Jewell is involved in every step of the process from beginning to end. He checked in with me to ensure everything was going okay or to ask if I had any questions about the process. Lance is Pat's son that came to my house. His detailed presentation far exceeded the other roofing companies I met with. Although I wish the shingle color I originally selected was available (discontinued), I am very pleased with the alternative color I selected.
Of the three roofing companies we received estimates from, Capitol Improvements was the only one that didn't try to force me to make a decision on the same day they came out. They also offered Everything that one of the other company's offered for thousands of dollars less.
The work crew was professional and courteous. Everything was done professionally and they did a great job cleaning up. They even removed a television antenna from my roof at no extra cost.

We had a very good experience with Capitol Improvements replacing the aging roof on our townhouse. I found them through excellent online reviews and I did not experience anything to doubt those. Pat, Lance, and Seth were all very responsive even by text or email. Lance came out initially to look at our roof, provided quotes on their different warranty tiers and did not try to pressure or upsell anything. Almost as soon as we got approval from our HOA for the exterior modification, which came with a different color from what was originally submitted, Seth had materials delivery scheduled. The install date ended up sliding due to the weather forecast, but on the day itself, the crew was on time and had the job done in less than a full day. Overall, our new roof looks great, I had a good experience with Capitol Improvements, and I will recommend them to anyone needing any of their services.

Capitol improvements replaced my gutters a few weeks ago. The workers were quick, on time, and cleaned up after themselves. Capitol Improvements provided great, personable and professional service! I had been contemplating a change to the outdated siding on my home for some time. Should I paint or replace it?!? After the initial consultation I was convinced it needed replacing. One of my neighbors had their siding replaced and their house popped; so I asked for a referral, I was not disappointed at all. I have an older home so I was also concerned that the house might be a bit “unsightly” under the old original metal siding; and hoped it wouldn’t be exposed for an extended period for all to see. Capitol’s workers were done in less than 1.5 days - And by done I mean from demo of old siding, wrapping/insulation of the house, and finally new siding and trim installation AND cleanup. So my neighbors saw nothing but a different house when they returned home that evening. I DEFINITELY recommend Capitol Improvements for your siding replacement work.

I have used Capitol Improvement for two major home improvement projects within the last 4yrs : roof and windows installation. During each project, Mr. Pat, Seth, Ryan and his work crew has been very professional and produced great work. Each project was performed in one day. That is what I call prompt service! They cleaned up behind themselves after each job. The most recent project took place 5/2022 the anticipated window installation. Prior to the new install, my old windows were terrible. Whatever temperature was outside I felt inside my home and noises from the outside, you can hear clearly in my home. After the new install, noise reduction is at its best . The outside noise stays outdoor and no more outside temperature indoors. Capitol Improvement is reliable, professional, and have the best prices. They offered a better price than both a local company and a big home improvement store. I had wider gutters and downspouts installed to try to mitigate some water issues in my basement. We just had multiple days of rain and my basement is dry!

Seth the install manager kept us updated throughout the project giving us updates as to possible material delays and when the job was to be installed. Capitol Improvements did a full tearoff and reside of our vinyl siding. We chose them because during our initial meeting they instilled a lot of confidence as we had a few unique issues with our house that required special care (multiple closed up openings, Exterior A/C lines that required workaround and the removal of an exterior stairwell). Once product was onsite the installation took no more than a day a half. We are very pleased with the speed and the results. There is a reason why the quote "You get what you pay for" exists.

The guys that worked on our roof did an exceptional job. They worked three straight days to resolve our issues. The Manager Mitch was extremely helpful. Simply wow! From the time I called to get an estimate until the project was completed, I experienced nothing but professionalism. Mitch was an outstanding representative for the company as he carefully explained all my options and why their gutter system is better than the rest. Not only was their gutters constructed better but had the option of colors which no one else had. They weren't the cheapest nor the most expensive but by comparisons I believe I got the best value for my money. The on-site contractors were on time, friendly, professional and cleaned up thoroughly. My house now "pops" and looks that much better. I highly recommend Capital Improvements.

We got a referral from a neighbor for Capital Improvements. It was easy to work with Pat to get a quote. We did both a roof on our house and on our shed, and then we also had new gutters put on our den. The crew was very hardworking and efficient. And they did a great job of cleaning up such that we only found a few nails and small pieces of roofing in the yard, but mostly didn't have to do much clean up at all. The gutters were installed in only a couple of hours about 3 weeks after the roof was put on. It was great to work with this team and we know we got a really good product. Highly recommend!

I got my entire roof, gutters, facia boards and downspouts replaced. I've reached out to 4 other companies (all with 4.9-5 star reviews) but no one came close to the quality of service and details that these guys gave me. What sold me was their lifetime warranty on their work and how detailed they were. They sent me photos of areas they need to replace and their progress of the entire work. If quality work done, then this is the company for you.
