Was on site early before I expected. Did their job. 1900 square foot house in a Day. I would have like them to have put everything back after they were done. I would recommend them to the most picky person I know

I can't say enough how pleased we are with the roof replacement that Capital Palmetto Builders did on our house. The crew showed up at 7 am and didn't stop until the entire roof was completed (including clean-up!) at 7:30 pm the same day. The roof turned out great and a week later, withstood Tropical Storm Helene with flying colors. Awesome job!

They went knocking on doors after a big hail storm and as first time homeowners, we went with them. They told us just to sign over the insruance checks straight to them. Without giving us a quote (mistake #1).
Once the roof was replaced, the workers did a shotty job and we had to make a few phone calls to get it fixed. I left a bad review and after they fixed it, the owner himself walked in my home and stood there wanting me to fix the review. So I did, just to get him out of my house (mistake #2). I eventually deleted the review altogether because it was not 100% real due to being on the spot.
Fast forward a year, a few shingles got torn off from a storm. One shingle in particular has torn in two. A worker came by and just reapplied that same shingle instead of a new one. We just left it alone because it was somewhat fixed (mistake #3).
Fast forward another year or so, that SAME spot is now looking like it is hangin on by a thread. I've called a total of 4 times now the last couple of months and have been told ALL times that someone will be out to fix. input crickets sounds. I've heard nothing, seen nobody. Just about everytime I call it sounds like they can't even find our file. The 3 year workmanship warranty is just about up which has me thinking that is what they are waiting on instead of coming back out. Just a whole mess. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

UPDATE: Google reviews typically get a response, so they were very eager to get me taken care of and hopefully update my review. So, here is the update... I was told the owner was going to call me, after my first run in with him, I declined because at this point, just send someone out to fix my roof. The way he acted before, it was just going to be another stand off, so I'll pass.
Someone came out while we were gone which I was okay with and he called me and asked where the problem was. I then told him and haven't heard anything since. The office person did call to follow up and asked what he did. I told her i wasn't sure and I haven't heard back from him. She told me she would call me and let me know what was done or what needs to be done but AGAIN crickets...
It look like he did something but it still looks SO misplaced up there. He probably just nailed it all back done again.
So here we are back to square one again.

Michael did a wonderful job on my home. He explained everything before hand. The work was done efficiently and on time. He will be the one to call if anything else is needed to be done on my home. Thank you for the great service!

Working with Capital Palmetto Builders to put vinyl siding, soffit, and fascia on my West Columbia, South Carolina home was a delight lately. My house has been entirely renovated from its days as a worn-out wood paneling and carpenter bee-damaged structure. Alex and his crew made my house look more current and updated while also improving my circumstances.

The group was really courteous to my property, on time, and very professional. When the job was finished, they made sure everything was done to my satisfaction and cleaned up the scene. The crew that installed our roof was punctual and courteous, the work was completed on time, and the finished product is first rate! Our work was the result of recent hail damage, and Mike is a master when it comes to dealing with the insurance companies. They of course only wanted to pay for a portion of the replacement, but in the end we got a new roof at just the cost of our deductible. What a godsend this company has been! Make no mistake this company is the real deal. I used them for a roof replacement in the past and recently used them to repair damage from a tree limb. They are excellent to do business with and I highly recommend them for all your roofing and gutter projects. You won’t be disappointed.

Initially Roof on my house was done by a Capital palmetto builders roofing company . They did awful job installing '' new roof''. Roof leaked in 2 years. They took long time to come to check it out and did not rush to come to fix it saying they don't know when they will have time until my warranty expired!! They give only 3 years warranty on roof. Other company fixed my roof for them. Not going to say name of that company so nobody think I am advertising here.
People leave good reviews for capital palmetto builders not knowing how actually their roof was installed. If someone took down your old roof and placed some new material instead of it It DOES NOT MEAN THEY DID QUALITY JOB AND YOU GOT YOUR "NEW 'ROOF. Before you leave 5 starts for this company, invite roof inspector to inspect your roof after Capital Palmetto builders ''install'' it. Don't pay them anything before your roof will be inspected after they finish their ''job''.

Other than a glitch over getting a permit because of the move of Greenville County Square into a new building, everything went very smoothly with getting a quality new roof for a fair price. Mike Baker is quite the salesman and he worked closely with our insurance so we didn’t have to worry about that aspect of the project. Walter did a great job with his crew of hardworking, polite installers and he kept us informed about progress and allayed any concerns we had. The crew did an excellent, thorough job of cleaning up when they finished. My husband said no one has ever cleaned up as well as these guys did. Overall, we were very pleased with the job Capital Palmetto Builders did and would recommend them.

They were referred to me by a friend. They were prompt and professional. They listened to me and completed the work on time.

Mike Baker was extremely responsive with every aspect of service. He's a very driven and motivated individual who ensured the job was done to our satisfaction. He fully understands the concept of great customer service. He said the job would take 2 and a half days but was actually completed in one day! The work crew functioned like a well oiled machine. It is without hesitation I would recommend Mike and the work crew to friends and family.

Excellent workmanship! The work was completed in one day and included clean up. They handled negotiations with the insurance company prior to beginning work, and was responsive to all calls, texts, and questions.

Capital Palmetto did an excellent job putting up new gutters and vinyl soffit and fascia at my house last September. The old gutters were leaking and causing the fascia to rot, and Alex gave me a great price to install new gutters, replace the rotten fascia, and cover everything with vinyl. The end result looks great, and the new gutters are working exactly how they should be (just in time for the tropical storms last fall). I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Alex, owner of Capital Palmetto Builders, inspected my roof and gave me a very reasonable quote on a new roof for my home. He was very professional and took the time to explain all the steps involved in the installation. The whole process of removing the old shingles and upgrading my roof with the new underlayment and architectural shingles was amazing. The workmen put a tarp over my shrubs and bushes to protect them from damage from the shingles being removed and they also tarped my pool to keep debris from entering the water. The whole process was flawless and afterwards the clean up was extremely well done. My new roof is so beautiful and I am so proud of the way it looks. This same company did my gutters so I knew what a great job they would do on my roof replacement.

Our house needed a new roof and since we had used Capital Palmetto at our previous house, we called them again. Alex gave us a great price and the new roof was installed 2 weeks later (it would have been done sooner, but we had to wait on our insurance company to assess the old roof). The crew worked diligently for 2.5 days to install our roof (we have a very high pitch). Once the job was complete we noticed a couple of cosmetic things that we did not like, but Alex sent someone the following day to fix the issue. They even replaced a piece of vinyl siding that was dirty and that did not look good without us having to ask for it, and they did not even charge us extra!
The ladies at the office, Raquel and Jennifer, are very nice as well. They made sure to tell the crew to be careful with all our shrubs and plants around the house, and the crew was extra careful with them. Nothing got damaged!

My home had hail damage from a recent storm. I made contact with CPB to give an estimate for the roof repairs. Mr. Baker arrived with a drone and took complete aerial photos of my roof and all the damage caused from the hail. Mr. Baker provided this information for our insurance claim and professionally explained the process for our claim. His complete understanding of the roofing business was paramount to me receiving a beautiful new roof. CPB had my roof replaced in short order, which ultimately prevented any further insurance claims for interior damages. The roofing crew was also very knowledgeable and professional. Communication was excellent. I found the company to be very responsive and dedicated to completing the work in a timely fashion. The quality of the work was outstanding.

Both Alex and the team did a great job communicating to understand the problem and find solutions. When doing the actual job, they took care of a couple of additional details that were not agreed on. I definitely recommend this company,

After spending 12k for them to replace my roof, it still leaks in the same spot. I've called 4 times (most recent April, May, and last week on 6/23), 1st time I was told someone would be out to fix it, next 3 times I was told I'd get a call to tell me when they'd be out, never got a return call. At this point, I'm sure there is damage in my attic, so I'll have to get someone to check and then I'll file my civil suit. For 12k they should do much better!!

Contacted CPB for a replacement of siding after hail and wind storm. Ivan came out right away and pointed out the other damages to my house from storm. Within a month, my roof and siding had been replaced. Thanks to Ivan, Lalo and their workforce. They got job done quickly and efficiently during the hottest days. I highly recommend.

If you ever want a company that comes with a great sales pitch and promises the Moon yet delivers none by all means call Capital palmetto builders and roofing. They came to us after a hail storm and left us shaking our head. They repaired our siding which doesn't even match. We are still waiting weeks later for our screens to be put back in that were also damaged by the hail and they have yet to come pick up the pile of the siding scraps that they have left behind. Really for a company that promised so much I would have expected more out of them. Would never ever recommend them not even to my worst enemy.

Alex and his team of experts went out of there way to make every experience with them great. They did a great job installing my roof and cleaning up. They did a fantastic job with the gutter installation. They have worked there hardest trying to find my color vinyl siding and I know being in the construction business myself materials are not always easy to find. UPDATE: 6/17/2021: ** The day after my original review was posted, Wayne from Capital Palmetto Builders called me to apologize and offer to make things right. He offered to pay for the window replacement through the other company I had contracted to do the work. I told him I would rather have the siding repaired and within a week the siding was repaired and they had cut me a check for the cost of the window. I sincerely appreciate them making things right. The siding looks good and the work was done quickly. ** ORIGINAL POST 6/9/2021: I called Capital Palmetto Builders after lightning struck my home and caused a window to break and some siding damage. Alex came within a day of calling and gave me a fair quote. Later Wayne came by to get window measurements and a sample of my siding for matching purposes. The quote was given on 8/20/2020 and the measurements and siding were probably taken less than a week later. I was told the window would arrive in 6 to 8 weeks. I called toward the end of October and was told that the windows were now taking 14 weeks to come in and that someone would call me. No one called me. I called again in November and was told that Wayne would be in touch with me. Still no contact. I called again on May 6, 2021; the associate answering the phone was super apologetic but when I heard from Wayne he told me that when my window was delivered it was damaged and they had to order a new one. Seriously? After 9 months of waiting they haven't gotten a window for me yet? Then he said he would have to come back out to take measurements again. Sure, fine, come on over I said. Wayne said he would be coming by that afternoon. Can you guess what happened....?? NOTHING. This company will NEVER get my business and I will tell anyone who asks me for a referral to avoid Capital Palmetto Builders at all costs. Terrible service. It's been nearly a year and I still have a broken window and siding with a chunk missing from Wayne cutting out a sample. Thankfully Ace Glass has been able to help me with the window. I'll find another company to handle the siding.
