Daud did a number of different jobs for me over the past couple of weeks
- installing attic turbine vents, replacing old plastic vent covers and rubber drain vents with metal ones
- installing gutter guards
- replacing rotten fascia and repairing rain downspout and flashing
- cleaning solarium roof and siding
- re-caulking chimney joint
- moving a large pile of river rocks
- removal of old fence, wood platform and disposing of it

He and his worker were hardworking, polite, and cleaned up after themselves. He was great at explaining what he was doing and if he found anything that needed to be addressed. I highly recommend them, and will use them for future jobs!

We hired Canstar Property Maintenance to fix some rotted facia, repair the eaves around our house where there was major leakage and to clean the gutters. Daud did a thorough inspection of the roof, facia and eaves and found some major areas of concern. I was very happy that he found these as it could have caused major damage to our home. He did a great job fixing the concern areas and the repairs will last for a long time. He did a great job replacing the rotted wood and fixing the eaves. He also suggested gutter guards and we had those put in as well. After a couple days of rain and lots of leaves now falling, I'm glad we did. I would definitely recommend Daud and Canstar Property Maintenance. We will have him and his crew back in the spring to do some more work and painting.

We used this company for our house. They gave us a decent quote of $250 for gutter cleaning. After hiring them for the job, they told us many things needed to be fix and we ended up paying them $ 2150. We told them that we want everything to be fixed and please do your job whatever is needed.
Anyways, after the work done we found that our roof was still leaking and water was not going through gutter properly so we called Daud the owner of the company to come and see what’s wrong. He said that he knows there are similar other issues too and will charge additional $200 per fix. We were surprised that why this was not told to us previously. Anyways, we requested him to come back and look which he promised but never came back. We phoned him again and this time he changed his story and said that there is nothing wrong with his previous job and this is a new job for him and will see what he can do but after phoning him many times , he never come back to check.

Stay away from this company. They will give you good price to get your job and once they are in, you will end up paying 10 times more money with no work guarantee or client satisfaction.

I have used Daud’s service for more 5 years for various maintenance work including gutter cleaning and drainage
blockage prevention.

The most important work is the roof cleaning and maintenance at the end of the summer where he removes the moss build up and inspects and repairs potential wear and tear.

Most recently (June 2025) he installed three 14” whirlybird turbine active vents on my roof. It made a significant improvement in keeping my house cool in the hot days. He took extra care to ensure they were installed properly.

Daud does excellent work, provides great value for a reasonable price.

Daud and his team did a very professional job on repairing and cleaning the gutter plus reseal EPDM joints. They went above and beyond on finding and repairing a lot of the potential spots for leakage. 10 / 10 for customer service as well.

I hired Canstar to clean and repair my roof and gutters. Previously I had a quote from another contractor but I found Canstar price more reasonable. Mr. Daud is a very experienced and honest to his work professional. He worked hard and in my opinion went beyond what he was supposed to do and made sure I got the best value for my dollar. Daud of Canstar Property Maintenance recently put a new roof on my home and did a major trimming of my 50 year old sequoia tree.
My roof was in bad shape and should have been replaced three years ago.
The new roof is excellent, Daud added extra sheeting under the shingles to ensure that the roof would be good well into the future.
This work was completed for a reasonable price and looks great.
