Ed Kobek installed a Revashelf for us in April 2024. He came in under his fair quote, he is expert at what he does having done handyman work his whole life, and it shows in his efficiency. He did a difficult installation easily. I recommend Ed because he's shown me it's better to hire someone you won't worry about doing the job right.

We couldn't recommend Eddie's handyman services more highly. As first-time homeowners, we've found ourselves in over our heads more often than we anticipated. Before we found Eddie, we had too many experiences of something breaking or needing maintenance and either being unable to find someone who could help anytime soon, or having folks out only for them to give us bonkers quotes that we knew were exploitative. One of the things we deeply appreciate about Eddie is that he walks us through his whole thought process and the pro's and con's (and costs) of each option available to us. He is always transparent about what he thinks is the best balance between what's most affordable vs a long-term solution, but he leaves the decision making to us and has never, ever pushed us to pursue something that feels like too much of a stretch financially or not what's ideal for us. He walks us through his analysis of each situation, and helps us learn the right questions to ask of professionals and what really matters when we need to make an investment in a new appliance or certain materials for a repair, etc. A lot of folks take advantage of people who simply don't know what they don't know, but Eddie is just a stellar human who truly values the people he works with. It's clear he takes pride in solving problems creatively and resourcefully - if he can achieve a quality fix at a fraction of the cost he will, and if he can't, he'll explain why. Though his hourly rate may be higher than some other folks, I guarantee you it's worth it - you get the services of someone who has literal decades of experience and has seen it/fixed it all, and he's QUICK. Sure you can pay someone less, but how much longer will they take and what kind of quality is their work? We couldn't trust Eddie more, and that makes all the difference. He's helped us with projects big and small, gotten to us immediately when there's truly time-sensitive problems, and been extremely generous with his time and knowledge in helping us learn what to prioritize and what we can get away with putting on the back-burner for a bit longer. Eddie has helped us with everything from roofing repairs to building a covered porch; plumbing emergencies to installing a new attic ladder; fixing and installing doors; installing fans and bathroom faucets; repairing and replacing flooring (tile and LVP); repairing drywall and matching textures; installing a soft-close sliding door in our laundry room; perfectly caulking around sinks in a flash, and much more. We've been able to accomplish so much more with our budget and in our time frames when working with Eddie because of how fast and skilled he is. We have recommended him to family and friends and every single time they've done nothing but sung his praises and said how lucky they've felt to have been connected to him. Home maintenance and repairs can be awful, but getting to work with Eddie feels like a real treat. Thanks Eddie!

Ed and Andi are great to work with. We have 11 properties i Olympia and have used them at nearly every property. Very versitle, high quality. One of the things I love is the creativity and problem solving unique situations.

Highly recommend!! I had several projects at my house and all were done with skill and care - and cleaned up after. Ed had great ideas on how to complete what I wanted and when issues came up (because of house structure) he didn't miss a best in trouble shooting (including knowing what to do based on his skill and experience) getting the extra supplies and finishing the job.

They replaced water damage to siding and under lay around 3 large windows, but then replaced better than before. Also replaced an entry door, in the garage, and did repair work on our barn. Ed and Ande were great to work with. We had our window trim removed and replaced, doors adjusted, and a few light switches replaced. They did a great job on all of our requests and were easy to work with. Give them a call if you need some work done. They will do a great job.

Ed and Ande are just that; trustworthy, hardworking, and wise about completing projects in high quality, low cost ways. Ed and Ande literally arrived at the perfect moment to address a pipe leak that had caused ceiling damage in a rental property. They pinpointed the leak, fixed it, removed wet drywall, completely dried the area, installed new drywall as needed, and painted the ceiling perfectly! Further, Ed took full responsibility for the project list I left for him. He has communicated by text and email with photo documentation of project progress. His online invoicing works seamlessly.
