He walked me through what our roof problems were and what options are available. The quoted price for the scope of work was fair and he answered all my questions and concerns.

My home started to leak gradually in the bedroom, after called Absolute roof Ondrej visited my home on time. He was very professional and quickly found the problem. He gave me a detailed job about the replacement cost of my pipe stack. All went as planned, he completed and cleaned up excellently. Absolute roof is so good.

It was my first time having Absolute roof to solve my roof problem. It was easy to communicate with the team. Carlos examined my gutter leaking and repaired my roof and gutter only in a weekend of waiting. Carols also solved the complication quickly. I am very happy with the job dene. Thank you Carlos!

At the last minute my insurance company told me I needed a new roof in order to get reinsured. Being near the end of November, this was not the time of year I wanted to replace my roof, but I had no choice. I immediately went out and got six quotes. Absolute came out right away and walked around the property with me, pointing out some flaws in the original roof construction and showing me where some rotten fascia boards needed to be replaced, They then sent me photos of those areas along with their proposed solutions. They also brought out shingle samples and recommended a particular colour that would go well with the exterior of the house. They told me that December was actually a good time to replace the roof because that was not a busy month and the weather was cooler. I obtained a quote from Absolute along with quotes from the five other companies. Absolute's quote was the second highest. It was very detailed and I had to go back to three of the other companies to give me more information, ask them about the rotting fascia boards and the cost to replace them (not included in their quotes) and a few other details. Absolute's sales rep was very attentive during my decision process. I knew that Absolute had been in business for many years and I recalled that I had actually used them twenty years ago on another property that I owned. I decided to go with Absolute for those reasons as well the fact that they seemed very organized and professional. I work long hours and I didn't want to be stressed out about about the roof. I was introduced to the project manager who explained how they worked, why I didn't have to worry about the rain leaking in, and that it would take them about 4-5 days weather permitting (and I have a large roof). They made me feel confident that they would do a good job and they did. They gave me peace of mind. In the mornings I met most of the crew who were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They happily did a few extra things for me for no charge. They even came out one drizzly Saturday morning so that the project would be finished on time.

In conclusion, I was very pleased with Absolute's work (and cleanup) and would highly recommend them.

Very happy with the cleanup done by Absolute Roofing on the flat parts of my townhome roof. They looked like swimming pools after months of rain + the drains were all clogged with leaves. Ondrej was my repair technician. He was very professional and provided excellent service. He replaced the skylight well and even repaired other issues caused by previous roofers. He maintained very good communication leading up to the work, responding thoroughly to my emails.

I inquired about new gutters. I received a very polite and professional response, referring me to other companies that could do that specific work more efficiently. I was very impressed with the way they handled my inquiry.

They did a wonderful job on my full house roof tile to asphalt conversion. Changing over the roof was done very quickly. There were some more complicated bits that were handled very well. No problems and it looks great. After it rained, a few minor issues from the old roof showed up with the new one since the underlying structure is the same. Once they knew where the issue was, they fixed it. The bigger issues with the old roof were fixed at the time the new one went on.

Great communication - a project manager was assigned who was my contact point. Sales was also in contact when required. The only issue I had was getting a few minor non-critical things completed such as my bathroom vents. This didn't affect the integrity of the roof and could have been completed at any time so it wasn't a problem other than the project not being able to be fully completed for a while.

I have used them on a different house years ago and they did a great job with that as well. They will be the first call I make in the future and will be recommended to others.

Having moved from strata to a house, it was tough to start the search for a roofing company as there are many to choose from - all with fairly good reviews. When it came down to it, Absolute Roofing had the best communication & response time. Greg and Will were super kind and friendly - kept the work area nice and clean and you could tell that they took pride with their accomplished work - a great duo for sure! Daniel was great in scheduling the work, setting up the quote and following up when the weather hit a cold/snow stretch to coordinate the project, the whole experience was hassle & stress free, a winning combo.

After having reviewed 4 quotes to replace our aging roof,we selected Absolute Roofing Solutions.Their consultant,Michael provided a finely detailed description of the re roofing process, including removal of 3 layers of old shingles. Sheathing with half inch plywood,high end waterproof underlay,complicated flashing installation to our old stucco ,and assurances of high standards of worksite safety.

The new roof is now complete and I am very happy with the result. The installation crew were very efficient and considerate on the job site. The result in my opinion is excellent.

I have absolutely nothing against Absolute. I see they just got an award. I have to post this for a heads up to potential customers as it has been bothering me for a couple of months. One of their guys came to our home on November 6 to see about a leak that occurred during the atmospheric river. We have a tile roof. They charged $236.50 for an estimate. They were on the roof for maybe 20 minutes. The nice young man (and he was nice) came down and told us we need a new roof as it was installed improperly and it would cost $40,000 to 50,000 and would take a number of days to do. I told him that wasn’t going to happen. We’ve been living here for 25 years with no leaks. He then said he could put up a 20 x 30 foot tarp over the roof and replace it as needed. Again I said no. He then said he could probably fix the leak for $2677.50 with no guarantee. I got another estimate (free) from another highly rated company. They sent two journeymen roofers because they were in the area. They said the roof was in excellent shape, it was put on properly, that 80 to 90% of the tile roofs in the Lower Mainland were put on that way and it was the best way to put it on, and they could fix the leak for $829.50 while they were there. So we did this. They were so mad about our interaction with Absolute that they wrote me a letter confirming their opinion with their bill. Here's part of the letter: "With 20 years experience working with concrete tiles, we see concrete tile roofs, like yours, lasting into the 70+ years. (our house was built in 1992) Yes it is not shiny and new but it will continue to keep the water out if and when regular attention is paid to it. A simple inspection every 2-3 years is a good start." I advised Absolute of this and told them I was going to give a heads up on the internet to potential customers. The young man called me shortly thereafter and said in his professional opinion the roof had been installed wrong and needed to be replaced and he stood by his estimate. Anyways he seemed genuine in his belief and everyone is entitled to their opinion. Who knows. However, I would seriously advise anyone to get a second opinion. The roof hasn’t leaked since and the other company has guaranteed their work. There you go. Just saying.

A big thank you to the team at Absolute Roof Solutions for giving us a beautiful new roof that gives us peace of mind and confidence that it was done right. When one of our skylights started to leak we called to ask for an investigation. We always knew that the previous owners of our house had cut corners when doing repairs and updates prior to our purchase. But, it took this experience to bring to light all of the issues that our roof had. We kind of *knew* it but needed someone to explain what we had been seeing. Absolute was responsive, helpful, and very professional. They are not going to be the cheapest alternative, but I felt that they were among the best. I would call them again in a heartbeat.

I had a flat roof, a sloped roof, a skylight, and 2 chimneys that were several decades old and needed to be replaced.

At first, I chose Absolute Roof Solutions because they had good google reviews. Michael walked around the house to do an initial assessment. He was very thorough and detailed. Out of several roofing companies, he was the first to mention that we needed more venting on our roof.

We signed the contract in the beginning of August. The work began in the beginning of September. It took around 2 weeks to do most of the work. The skylight and one of the chimneys needed some touch up. Everything was complete by the end of October.

Some staff I had difficulty communicating-- I waited several days and would not get a reply. Michael was very easy to communicate from start to finish. He was also a good problem solver.

The price is reasonable. I am very happy with my new roof!

The repair technician, Ondrej Valachovic arrived to do the assessment and was calm and laser focused. He found the source of the leak and started the repair later the same day.
Ondrej extended and rerouted the gutter into a lower gutter facing the back of the house. He was caring, efficent, and proactive to look at everything down to the screws on cable clips.
My home is safe and secure again and I am confident it will remain so for many years.

We hired ARS to replace our roof in East Vancouver. They provide attentive sale service, clear estimates, good project management and post project support. Crews are knowledgeable, respectful, clean and on time. As for any project, unplanned issues occured and ARS resolved them in a professional matter. Would definitely recommend ARS.

Our family recently moved to North Vancouver and a house inspection indicated that the studio's flat roof needed replacing and a flat roof portion of the main house would need replacing in a couple of years. We called a roofing company to get a quote and it took over a week for them to come to the house to do the inspection and a few days afterwards to email the quote.
Luckily I saw a sign for Absolute Roof Solutions on someone's lawn two blocks from our house and decided to get a second quote. Boy, what a difference.
The following evening I spoke to Michael who was detailed and thorough about the work involved for flat roofs. I was impressed to hear that all of their roofers are hot work insured and very happy that Michael and a tech, David, would be over the next day to inspect both roofs. I joined them up on the roof of the house and saw for myself the many other issues and problems they pointed out that needed immediate attention, including insufficient vents, no ventilation, a section of roof sloping the wrong way and a damaged, leaking chimney. None of these issues were mentioned in the other company's quote. I so appreciated the expertise and thoroughness Michael and David displayed.
Michael visited us the next day with a 15 page package (including colour photos of all the trouble areas) that described in detail the process and materials for every aspect of the work. The price was extremely fair given the scope of the work.

5 Star all the way. Made the whole process so easy and they were extremely professional. Michael was incredibly knowledgeable and most of all we liked that everything was on budget and ahead of schedule!

I had organized and completed various renovation projects at work and at home. Finding a good contractor is difficult and is becoming an art form for average home owners. This is especially true in the roofing industry and in particular if you have a small job like the roof for my garage. I re-roofed my garage years back to avoid these challenges. Absolute was the more expensive choice then the others but I am glad I selected this company. Here are my reasons:
1. Absolute follows the rare act of a profession process starting with a detail assessment of your roof followed by a written report. Several discrepancies were identified by Michael F. and some of which were either missed or deemed no need to discuss by others. BTW, Michael was also quick in responding to enquiries and we negotiated a good deal making the more expensive options attractive.
2. In the next step, the project leader, Daniel R. came to ensure the initial evaluation was accurate and the job is ready to go. Dan was a good listener, picked up my "messages" and responded quickly.
3. We were incredibly lucky to have a crew of 4 shown up within days of the project assessment. The crews were focused, professional, and quiet. They took breaks at designated time which I appreciated. I do not like rush jobs. One reason I picked Absolute because they used their own staff or contractors they had worked with for a long time.
4. The work was completed beyond expectation as they addressed small details; something a "perfectionist" would understand.
5. The project lead came and inspect the final job with me and identified a few discrepancies. These initiatives were seldomly done for small projects and more importantly, the discrepancies were remedied on a Saturday afternoon. I did not expect that at all.

Overall, I like the fact that everyone I dealt with at Absolute had listened and delivered exactly what I wanted and it was no small feat.

Worked with David on a roof/deck repair project. I was told by others previously that so much work is needed. He did a great job simplifying the job and targeting only what's needed. This was of huge value to me.

We recently had a great experience in working with Carlos and Marcos from Absolute Roofing in resolving our roofing issues.

We found both Carlos and Marcos to be very professional and courteous, and very considerate of our personal space. They were flexible in working around our constrained schedules (we sometimes worked night shifts), and were very conscientious to keep our patio and the working areas clean at the end of each work day even though they would be returning the next morning.

Thanks Absolute Roof Solutions for replacing my old roof. It was a good experience from start to finish. Ken came out and provided a detail report on my old roof condition and he listed out all his recommendation as options. Owner can then select or ignore the recommended options. The roof replacement started within a couple of weeks after I decided to go with Absolute Roof Solutions. The roof was replaced in just 2 days. Absolute Roof Solutions came back to inspect the completed job and they found a couple of minor issues and the workers had to come back and made the necessary adjustments. All in all, I was happy with the whole process with Absolute Roof Solutions!

Ondrej and his crew did a great job replacing 4 skylights and made various repairs on my roof. They were able to schedule me in based on the predicted weather and came on time on the days that they planned to and finished up according to schedule. They sent me before and after photos of all the work that they did. Highly recommended.

The team did a really great job on my roof. It was a technically complicated location, with quite steep and difficult to access areas. The logistics of getting material in and out was also a challenge, but the team worked really well together and everything worked out to my expectations. I would defintiely use them again!

We had a good experience with Absolute. The assessment and supporting photos to document the planned repairs were very thorough and Greg was generous with his time to answer our questions and provide options for different ways to address our roof leak issue.

I had a very satisfying experience with Absolute. The repair tech looked after two significant chimney/roof interface issues, on two separate properties for me. I initially thought the quote was a little pricey, but when I saw how they actually repaired it, it looked like a bargain. Essentially tore down and rebuilt one chimney, and removed all damage and repaired the second. They both look like new again, and my tech, Carlos, was super easy, polite, and friendly. He communicated constantly and always kept me in the loop. I don't have a lot of experience with roofers, but I was pleasantly surprised with the professionalism demonstrated here.

Everyone at at Absolute was great to deal with. Chris and Daniel were responsive to my questions and concerns.
But the star of the day was Carlos. He completed the repair work on our roof (hole from a fallen tree and water ingress around our skylights) expertly. His attention to detail and determination to find the best solution for a challenging issue was greatly appreciated. He fully documented his work clearly showing the end result of his labour. He also managed to extend the life of our roof. When the time comes to complete a full replacement, Absolute Roof will be our first call.

Should also be known as: ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC COMPANY! Carlos did an amazing job fixing our skylight. He put extra care and quality into everything he did. If we have any other roofing or skylight issues, I will 100% call Absolutely Roofing. Absolute Roof Solution did a wonderful job with my roof repair. The technician, Carlos, was superb. He came out to inspect my roof and provided report along with relevant photos. A quote was given at the same time. I did have to wait for a few months, but that is typical in the rainy Vancouver. Many jobs cannot be done until the rain stops. Once Carlos came out, the work went as swift as it can be. The repair was completed within reasonable amount of time, weather permitting. The place was cleaned up on a daily basis. I was briefed on what was done that day. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work and would definitely use Absolute Roof again.

I had Carlos to come out again to inspect the roof and do a moss prevention spray. I cannot say enough how wonderful Carlos is. The communication is quick. Carlos communicated with me right the way to come out for a quote. Then we set a time for the next sunny day to do the work. The work was done efficiently and with care. I truly recommend using Absolute Roof.

Very professional and efficient! We're very happy with the service and products from Absolute Roof. Michael did a roof inspection for repairs and provided a very professional presentation regarding the needed work; complete with photos. It was more cost effective to replace the roof. We locked the price and materials in and notified them a few months later to proceed. Jona and his crew were very efficient and the workmanship was excellent. Everything was cleaned up. Two skylights needed readjustment and Gordon completed the inside finish carpentry. Looks great! We've had several positive comments from the neighbours regarding the workmanship and how good the roof looks. With a 10-year worksmanship warranty, we know that we don't have to worry about our roof! Thanks!

2024:
Needed some preventative maintenance work done on the roof and gutters. Ondrej did a great job. The work was competed efficiently and on budget. Another great job by Absolute Roof Solutions.

An update seven years later...
We had one minor issue with the flashing covering the end of a fascia board that needed repairing. I called Absolute Roof, and a week later they came to give me an estimate for the repair. Instead of giving me an estimate they fixed the problem on the spot, and while they were at it they re-caulked some roof vents where the caulking was starting to crack, inspected the roof, and inspected the gutters. All for no charge. Dave and Kizi were knowledgeable, expert at their jobs, and personable. Once again 5-star work and service. Absolute Roof is the best.

Absolute Roof did our roof in the fall. We used them because the neighbours across the street used them a year or so earlier. The service was excellent, their work was professional, their attention to detail was excellent, and the clean up was perfect. They gave us a list of houses in our area that we could drive around and look at to check out their workmanship and to choose shingle colours. Plus their quote was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Absolute Roof to my friends.
