Candlewood Suites Logan by IHG

I got in late Monday and was able to get checked in within 5 minutes. They had the key ready to go and were very accomodating.

Comfortable bed, clean room, bathtub could be a little less rusty, comfortable experience . A lot of towels, cupboard with dishes, fridge, kitchen available in room. Queen bed. Staff very accommodating and responded right away. Free coffee in the lobby. Liked the overall experience

Staff was super nice and helpful. Would recommend this hotel . I will be staying here again.
The fridge in the room was noisy but no big deal . Good water pressure in the shower .

The room was a good size and very clean, but there wasn't enough light. Too few lamps with wattage insufficient to illuminate entire room. We appreciated having a recliner in the room. As senior citizens, we found the toilet way too low to easily sit down on it or get up off it. Alas, that seems to be a trend in hotel rooms these days. The desk clerk when we arrived wasn't too cordial, but we found the morning clerk, who was quite friendly, cleaning the walls around the lobby bathroom doors, so perhaps the night person was just overworked and tired.

Great location good people nice area work with people and there stay allow for traveler in car bike or side by side close to several trail heads close to food

Nice staff and great place to stay.i would recommend this place to my friends. I was traveling for business and pick this hotel due to the location but I am glad I stayed here. I will be back sometime soon. Thank you!

My Jeep friends and I enjoyed our stay! We were all hoping to be on the same floor, but half were on 2 and half on 3. A fan in the bathroom would’ve been nice! All and all the room was very nice and comfortable! Not sure why but I was double charged for my room! Contacting hotel in the morning to talk to GM!

Our bathroom flooded after taking a shower, as the rod was falling off the wall, and the shower curtain was worn and too short. They did fix the shower rod, but it did not fully resolve the issue. They did offer us 3 other rooms, 1 that smelled of cigarette smoke, the other 2 had the same issue of the shower rod falling down, so we continued our 3 night stay in our original room.

The hotel is very clean awesome service the hotel staff was very kind friendly and made sure that my stay was very comfortable I think they went over and beyond to make sure that their gas was very happy with their stay. The front was also amazing.

This hotel was clean, and all expectations that I had were covered. Housekeeping in the rooms was great; thank you to the housekeeping staff.

Positive: Room was pretty clean. Was in a convenient area Negative: Carpet was stained and exterior looking ran down a little.

nice place for an overnight stop. It was upsetting that both of their treadmills were broken and it seemed that they had been broken for a while and just neglected toilet handle was broken, but still operational. The room was clean except for a few things in the shower. Front office. Staff was very friendly.

Nice hotel to stop at over night. Hotel staff were very helpful and nice. Ac unit took about 15 minutes to kick on and we thought it was broke but it did work. Both treadmills were broken and looked as if they had been that way for a while that was disappointing. Large room and pretty up to date besides the small tv. The bathroom toilet handle was broke and you had to turn it a certain way to flush that was annoying. Overall not bad for an over night stay.

Overall, the staff were excellent and friendly, the room was reasonably comfortable, and there were a few helpful amenities. However, there's definitely a bit of wear-and-tear on the rooms, some restocking needs in the hotel "pantry," and a few common spaces (such as the elevator) that could do with added cleaning frequency or attention. Overall, given I've stayed at other IHG locations of similar size or relative location to sites, attractions, etc, the pricing was also a little high for value received. I'd possibly stay again if in the area, and it covered what we needed. I will say it was nicely quiet overall, and the staff seemed to be working with what they had to make things as pleasant as possible, so I bumped to 4 stars rather than 3 to account for the peaceful stay and kind service.

The bed was very comfortable. The cupboard was a little pricey. I would like more milk options and information about things to do nearby.

Great hotel for the price. Wheelchair accessible room was easy to get around. It would be nice if the towel rack was at the same end of the shower as the bench.

Small food selection area to purchase from ( choco milk, yogurt, cereal & free coffe/tea), train tracks in back( did not hear it) . Full size fridge, no ice trays or working ice maker- but freeze your water bottles & baggie of ice cubes . Two hot plate/ convection pads ,NO oven. Tight turn into parking lot , but Church parking lot next door. No walking stores that I noticed. Bakery very close . Would stay again, dinged up walls but somewhat clean, beds very comfortable & 4 pillows per bed. DVD player & some movies to borrow.

it was an okay hotel at a location i needed to be at. I would go again but wish they had a breakfast. The cupboard had nothing i wanted or needed. The staff spend all their time out front smoking but came back when needed at counter.

Convenient location. Great value. Used IHG reward points. Only problem was shower curtain too short - I had water everywhere after showering.

We are greeted with smiling faces. The room is always clean. The beds are comfortable and relaxing. If you need anything the staff is always there to tend to your needs with no hesitation. When you leave the next morning you are still greeted with a smiling face and asked how your stay was.

I walked into a dirty room. Blood on my towels, walls, curtains, curtain rods. The smell in the room was outrageously horrible, couldnt even change rooms, no other rooms available. Torn rugs. No soaps, shampoo, conditioner. Requested that I get some, no one would bring me any. Hair all over bathroom. Dirty all over the floors. Counters and tables sticky and dirty. I called the morning of check in and asked for an ADA room on the first floor, was told they had one available and they would hold it for me. Ended up with a room on the 3rd floor, not ADA, again torn carpet, which ended up tripping my handicap child. Garbage and dirty linens left in closet of one room and all over the hallways. No hand sanitizer in any dispensers. No breakfast provided (even though it was listed online as included). They charged me more than what was listed online. Front desk lady at night was very unprofessional. Smoking outside and did not come in to check me in.

this location is a great value for this area we had guests from out of town who were not familiar with the area who were very satisfied with the hotel.

My stay at Candlewood Suites was excellent. The staff was professional and friendly. The room and service's were always great and on time. I am going to recommend Candlewood Suites to all my friends and associates.

Aging hotel with basic rooms but it is very clean! The front desk staff is helpful and the rooms are very clean. The in room kitchenette is a welcomed feature since there are not many places to eat around the hotel!

Very comfortable hotel, piece of mind after travels through the mountain. And this hotel offers that slice of peace. It is nestled in between beautiful mountain range with great view, it is a coal mine city. So there is train right behind the hotel but has the great charm. Food and restaurants right around the corner walking distances.

The Candlewood suites is a great place to stay where the staff is very friendly professional make you feel just like you at your own home The beds are real comfortable as a nice refrigerator microwave stove.

Awesome place to stay...lots of parking. The personal best was we were staying because of fire damage to our house and it was a great extended stay facility.

Perfect place overall only thing they need is breakfast and bigger parking for vehicles with trailer. But other than that. Can’t ask for anything else. Oh I forgot the train track outside my window. But it only happened once that I know of

We enjoyed our one night at Candlewood suites in Logan, WV very much. We were there to check out the Hatfield and McCoy trails and staff were so helpful. We will be staying a week in the Spring. We were on a 6 week trip and after staying for 4 nights in the Roswell, NM Candlewood, we actively looked for these accommodations for the rest of our trip.

The staff Leslie and others are wonderful very helpful friendly and courteous. It's very clean and accommodating easy to work with. I have recommended this location to other contractors and they where very happy with the stay. I would recommend this location to anyone.
I also over the course of the past year of being in the area working have watched the staff enteract with other guests always very professional genuinely good people..

In most total you can hear guess threw the wall as and door but unless I was out in the hallway I could hear nothing. Everyone was nice. There was things for the kids to do I could do my laundry. And we all had a great time. Even tho we was there due to the weather. So my husband could get to work. It was great. We all slept well. And it was peaceful. We loved it all. :)
