Great prices and all the slate was stacked on the pallet nicely.
Overall very good experience.

Dealing with Camara Slate was a waste of time and I would not recommend it to anyone.
I followed up by text, email and phone... no reply for over months now.
The quality of this slate is as defective as the cheap low end Chinese and Brazilian slate.

Called to get pricing on slate and got transferred to Shawn Camara. We emailed back and forth a few times and then all of the sudden I could not reach Mr. Camara. I tried emailing and calling him but he would not return my calls or emails. Dealing with Camara Slate was a waste of time and I would not recommend it to anyone. I have all the email trails. What is the point of being in business if you will not even respond to quote inquiries? Terrible business practice.

BUYERS BEWARE! I purchased Camara’s Unfading Green roof slate about 10 years ago. After only 5 years, my roof started showing rust spots due to the large amount of pyrites contained in the slate. I called Camara and told them what was going on to see what could be done. I was told to send pictures. After doing that, I followed up by text, email and phone... no reply for over months now. Turns out that the quality of this slate is as defective as the cheap low end Chinese and Brazilian slate known for rusting. The pictures are worth a thousand words.
