Couldn’t have had a better crew to come in and remodel my first and second floor in 8 weeks! Joe and Nancy have an eye to do whatever you want done and crews are fantastic, working 10-12 hours a day until the project g was completed in 8 weeks
Moved kitchen, floors, added full bathroom and drywall throughout!

Gary and Mike did a great job installing my new patio door. A supervisor stopped by twice to make sure everything was ok. She really knows her stuff too. Great experience. Surprised to see that lady saying all those things on the reviews.

I wonder what makes this owner who knows NOTHING about me ASSume I'm a "slumlord" what makes him ASSUME the village of Zion compelled me to make UPGRADES to the property? ANYONE who knows anything about having property knows all you have to do is maintain it in good working condition. What I hired this horrible company to do was make UPGRADES which isn't a requirement. what "slumlord" you know replaces appliances, mailboxes, light fixtures, range hoods, and faucets that are IN WORKING CONDITION and in compliance with all city codes? Not ONCE did I say Mike didn't do a good job, I SIMPLY said it took him 5 1/2 hrs IN ONE UNIT to change a range hood, kitchen faucet, and replace 7 SIMPLE light fixtures. It took so long the TENANTS called me to complain. You didn't like it and started yelling and foaming at the mouth telling me to "PLEASE NOT PAY THE INVOICE SO YOU COULD PUT A LEIN ON THE PROPERTY" the invoice was paid within 20mins of receiving it. While you were pretending you didn't want the payment, it had already been in your account. I didn't complain that the service was bad(it wasn't) I didn't once complain about the price(not bad either) I SIMPLY SAID THAT IT TOOK TOO LONG and I didn't get the other projects I expected you to do done, and you're this belligerent and unprofessional because of that?! Whew.. imagine if I said the service was as bad as its owner

We did not have a good experience. Our handyman we were assigned to was Mike. Slowwwwww in every since of the word. To complete several simple installs. When we called to complaint about how long it was taking Mike to get the job done we were told he wasn't taking too long and our tenants should be happy we are doing any work at all. FYI our tenants were also complaining about how long the small installs were taking. Nevertheless, we will not be using their service again. Total rip off! I'm adding to this review because Bill the owner has called me harassing me several times upset because I left an honest review. Very unprofessional, rude, and does not have the ability to take criticism. We have paid for the services that were rendered. So I'm not sure why he keeps calling me about this honest review of services. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! I'm adding to this review again because this guy just won't stop.....as you guys can see the installs that were made were upgrades.....I don't know any slumlord that makes upgrades to a tenants unit. That being said the city of Zion hasn't compelled us to do anything we are good people and good landlord's that want our tenant's to live comfortably in their unit's.... hence the upgrades! Bill is just upset because he doesn't agree with our review.... my advice is to get over it....I'm allowed to have an opinion.... this is America! Adding to this review for the last time. This guy continues to edit his responses. I've sent my review and my boss sent her own. This is NOT the same person. I feel Mike moved slow and I'm allowed to voice MY opinion! Grow up sir!

One star isn't low enough!!! This "company" is a joke, and the responses from the 'owner' proves that. Bill is unhinged and unstable. He called me SEVERAL TIMES harassing me because he didn't like the HONEST review that was left. He sent an invoice and it was PAID within 20mins of receiving it. He called to beg me(his words) NOT TO PAY so he could put a lein on my property. How ignorant and unprofessional is that to say little does he know, my business is blessed with the favor of God and what he gives, NO MAN can take away! I contacted callthehandyman.com after seeing one of their vans on the road. Within an hour, I had my project estimated and booked. This was after calling a few other handyman services who didn't bother to respond to my inquiries.

The service - installation of a mailbox post - was completed a few days after that. Joe updated me throughout that time as the post was fabricated and painted. His team member showed up exactly on time the day of install. The post looks great and the project was reasonably priced. I wouldn't hesitate to use Joe's services again.
