It’s rare these days to feel really good about a purchase or service and know that the quality and work completed is worth the investment. That being said, FIXX Gurnee did an exceptional job on our house! What a great group of people! Our house doesn’t even look the same! The owner is a fantastic guy, the painters were very detailed on the paint job and very professional. We would recommend this company to anyone!

Andy and his team did an amazing job for us! They installed crown molding on the first floor and a bathroom vanity in one of the bathrooms. The whole team was professional and very friendly. Their work quality and work ethic is superb. I highly recommend them.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Andy and his team to install a tankless water heater. The installation process was seamless and efficient, thanks to their expertise. They were punctual, professional, and demonstrated a deep understanding of the technology. The tankless heater is now up and running, providing hot water on demand, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Andy and his team exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend their services.

We had them install ceiling fans in 3 bedrooms where no light fixtures existed, installed another fan in a bedroom where there was a light fixture, and they replaced 2 exterior lights in our back yard! Very prompt, very friendly, professional, and excellent work! They cover your items, center the fans in the room, and everything works and looks great!

This is supposed to be a one star review but site keeps changing it to 5 stars.I guess you can't believe everything on the internet. I contacted them and ANDY LOPEZ gave me a prompt estimate. I also requested them install soffit vents. The roofing work they did was adequate but it was very evident there was nobody on site to supervise. They installed the soffit vents on the eave returns which did not vent into the attic. I knew there was no way they would patch up the holes they had made to my satisfaction so I told Andy to just leave them and install new ones in the proper places. The crew he sent out started to install them in the gable end. Luckily I caught the and had to show the where the vents went. The I noticed that they only installed a ridge vent over the kitchen addition so I had to call them out to install them on the main part of the house. I had mobility issues due to a bad knee and couldn't make it up into my attic until 2months later. I discovered there was no ventilation slits cut into the roof to allow air to escape. I tried contacting Andy and he texted back that they were in Florida. Apparently they moved there to do roofing for the hurricane victims. I stopped at their business address which was empty. The new renters told me that a number of unsatisfied customers stopped there looking for them.

Fixx did an excellent job.
I had the roof done on my parents' house & they were very respectful & kept me informed of all major events.
I would highly recommend them for anyone needing roof work.

I got 3 of my bathroom faucets replaced today, on time, within my budget, and good quality work. What more do you need to hear? Now we are working on quote for additional work.

We hired Fixx, Andy's team, for remodeling our basement in spring 2022! They have done a great job with a good price. I recommend Andy and his team for their work ethic, hard work, and skillfulness.

This is my 7th year of receiving fine services and repair from Fixx. They are reasonably priced, only send out quality workers, great clean up afterwards and are prompt. Jose did electrical work and pulled new wires to a 20 ft ceiling fan and repaired track lighting. He was friendly and was confident in his work. Nothing beats that.

I had my window's replaced. I'm happy with the work is was done. In between Reasonable price! I will used this company again.

My shower was leaking onto the ceiling below and I called Fixx at the recommendation of Menards. Anthony set up my appointment over the phone. Jose was able to find and repair the issue. He was friendly, professional, and on time. Prices are reasonable too. I would go with them again and recommend to others.

José and Tony did a great job with the multiple jobs at my house! The team replaced my front porch decking and ceiling plus the garage soffits. They also did some minor brickwork, replaced some rotted boards and painted the whole house exterior. They were attentive to details and checked with me throughout to make sure I was happy with the work. I would absolutely use them again and would recommend them to anyone!

I would like to recommend Fixx for an outstanding job on our home. The initial walk through was very thorough, and he found issues that the insurance company didn’t even find. Editing my review from three years ago . Change the change the rating from a five to a three because when they were supposed to come out to restain some parts of our deck where the stain was peeling. They came to look and said that they were gonna contact me to schedule a date to come and re-paint the patches of peeled paint and never called and never scheduled a date to come out. They repaired and painted our front deck. They did an awesome job. The price was also great! The only issue we had was communication at times. But overall they did an amazing job! We will definitely use them again for other home projects!

My concerns with my roof installation!

I had them come out for some small roofing work and they said they’d give me a quote that night after seeing the areas in person. Days passed and I had to hound them to even get an answer about if they were giving me a quote, which they never did. They just told me, after I reached out multiple times, that they were too busy to do the small work I needed on my roof. Totally waste of my time over the span of days, and the work was approved by insurance on a claim already. At least tell your clients the day of if you’re not interested in doing the work, don’t have them have to hound you down for an answer. I wouldn’t recommended a company like this.

Excellent consultation with Andy about a plumbing issue that others didn't seem to be of much help with. He was far more outgoing and eager to help. I would definetly recommend based on my experience from dealing with other contractors!

Fixx just completed the remodel of my boys bathroom upstairs , and I am so thrilled with how it turned out! They were always in good communication with me about the work , they were great about keeping my entryway and stairs clean while they were working , and they are very professional to work with!
My bathroom was original from 1992 and now it’s completely updated (new vanity countertop to come soon). I thought I could get away with leaving the old countertop , but with how beautiful the rest of the bathroom looks I will be replacing ! Andy advised me to change it in the beginning … listen to their advice ! They know !! Lol !

Fixx LLC was on board already to rebuild our deck when we asked about interior painting. No problem! Price was lower than I expected. Done within weeks of asking. The job was actually more than just painting and included new molding and plaster repair. These workmen were so neat and careful with our wood floors and our tape-eating cat. They were quiet too and very hardworking. Our house looks better than we hoped and we love the job that FIXX did. You should call them.

FIXX did a great job on my roof. They said they did other work but I was a bit skeptical. Usually roofing companies aren’t good at bathroom remodels. I gave them a chance and they did a beautiful job on my bathroom remodel. I will definitely use FIXX as long as they are around !

We needed sink installed right away ,a double well sink and all new p trap , pipes and baskets , Fixx was out to our home in 24 hrs at 9 am , all work installed and done on less than 2 hours , professional , clean and reasonable fee

They replaced a custom basement window. The quality of their work was excellent. They were very efficient in completing the work in a very timely manner and also were attentive to clean up when they were done. They sent a supervisor after the work was completed to ensure that the work was done properly and that I was completely satisfied. They have my highest recommendation both for the quality of their work and for their fair pricing.

Andy and his team is excellent and deserve more than 5 star! Our water heater broke and need to fix it immediately. I got Andy's contact from Menards and among the five contractor's he is the one who is readily available for us at the same day, very responsive and professional when communicating also very knowledgeable on what works needs to get done. Brandon, the plumber who came by our house is also amazing! making sure everything works perfectly as needed. I cannot say enough praise and thank you for the amazing job you have done! highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing service and high quality work with great attention to detail. Andy is super knowledgeable about everything and anything related to home remodeling and repairs. Andy came out personally when his business first Started out, he repaired a fence for us that blew over and also put light fixtures on our front entryway for us. I am so pleased that I was able to get affordable service AND quick scheduling. The quality of the work performed was top notch. The whole crew was polite, professional and very tidy. We are extremely happy with the finished product.
I understand that with the influx of people working from home this past year it has put extra pressure on the remodeling business as a whole. So my only concern is scheduling. Timing is very important when trying to juggle schedules. I will call them first for my next project but we will be nailing down a more defined schedule.

FIXX saw an issue with my garage door while doing another job in my neighborhood and proactively stopped by, gave me quick quote that night, and had a guy out the next day who fixed the door (broken door arm and busted cables). Definitely had a good experience and recommend them for their services.

They fixed plumbing and electrical work along with putting in a new shower the work was excellent and their attitude was the best

I had a sewer back up in my basement.
There was water damage to the walls, and the carpet had to be removed.
Fixx came in and replaced the carpet with vinyl floor and repaired and painted the walls.
