I can't say enough nice things about our experience with Burgess Inspections. We had an inspector come out to our new construction home today for a pre-drywall inspection. We had been having issues getting accurate information and communication from our builder, and Burgess' office team was incredibly compassionate and helpful, and worked with us to get on the schedule quickly. The inspector was thorough, explained things to us in detail and was able to answer all of our questions. They sent us the report right away the same day (!), and gave us important info about items that need to be fixed by the builder. Price was reasonable too!

The inspector was punctual, professional, and very thorough! He also identified several issues that need to be addressed, in order of priority. As a “renter” of this property, took it upon myself to have the inspection and now feel much more comfortable knowing I’m safe!

We bought a new construction home a year ago and used Burgess Inspections for our pre-drywall, pre move-in, and 11 month inspections. Dennis and Shawn were extremely thorough in their inspections and they provided us with a thorough and detailed inspection report within a day of the inspection. Our inspector was courteous and very knowledgeable. He inspired confidence in his briefing for future repairs. I would highly recommend Burgess for your building inspections.

I hired burgess to complete a residential inspection in 2021. I explained to them due to another home falling through and my family moving, we didn't have an opportunity to see the home prior to moving in. After moving into the home (which is only 5 years old) I'm finding I need a completely new roof ($18k) and basement has foundational issues as well water damage($12k). None of this was mentioned in our inspection report. We contacted Burgress and they came out to take a second look and gave us advice on how to patch work the basement offered no assistance not even a refund. Lived in this home for 1 year and already $30,000 in the hole. Would not recommend at all.
