Chase the retail consultant was a pleasure to deal with. My biggest issue is that companies like this should better educate their customers on various standard permitting issues that come up.

For example, I do not buy or install garages how would I know all the various permits required to pour concrete foundation and install a building. But a company that is literally in the business of selling buildings should just tell their customers up front what kind of things may be required. I found out about permit on concrete foundation after it was hardened.

I would like to thank Will Easter for helping me in this process of picking my building that he was very patient with me and my building turned out. Awesome thank you guys.

I have a long history of renovating homes so I also have a long history with utilizing contractors. Working with Casey Felts on our 45’x25’ metal building was a terrific experience. Casey worked with us on the design and was always delighted to help us make any changes. After the design was final, he worked with us on managing the install. The install crew was great and detail oriented. From start to finish, it was a great program. If looking for a new metal building, I strongly recommend calling Casey!

I’m am thrilled with Bulldog Steel Buildings and the process of working with Will Easter to create and build our 45’x20’ RV cover. Will’s product knowledge is extensive and he was able to assist with any of our requests for plans. Most importantly, the quality of the end product is absolutely fantastic. Our previous wooden rv structure blew down in a wind storm and he was able to get a new metal rv cover built in less than a few weeks. Overall, we are very pleased with Will and the crew at Bulldog Steel Buildings.

I'm a lot old school with old school values especially when it comes to customer service and business practice. The people here at bulldog especially 'Axle' who worked tirelessly with me over 4 months prior to the building getting erected we're very professional, helpful, and patient with obstacles that had to be overtaken. Not only would I recommend them but I will be using them again for another project in the near future. My gratitude and appreciation for quite literally the hard work they had to perform for me will not be forgotten. They definitely were the best choice especially when I looked at how many other builders are out there.

We had a very long process with our carport. Axel Garcia was the BEST!!!! He helped us every step of the way and smoothed out all of the rough edges with the process. We are VERY happy with our carport and thank Axel very much for his expertise and assistance.

This was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had. I had issues from the start with the sales rep FRANK and I actually went to several other companies and the only reason I came back is they were the only company that was able to get me any financing and it was partial.. This is a weird industry when it comes to financing I have Great credit I knew for a fact that I was at least a 720 one company turned me down and said they had me at a 776 and no my income to debt is not off I didn't want to do the rent to own those payments can be ridiculous and didn't want to pay cash bcuz I knew I was going to need it for different people doing electrical and plumbing etc. My sales rep didn't do his job other than take my down payment. I stressed the importance of the turnaround time that I needed this building delivered on time so that I may work on getting electricity and other things done by May 1st. I made my initial down payment on March 3rd 2024 and it was supposed to be a 2-4 week turnaround on delivery and installation I never heard from anyone until I called in 4 weeks later asking where is the building. Now I'm upset bcuz I should have followed my first instincts all FRANK ever did or was good at was telling me no or what he can't do. I told him I'm a sales rep and been in sales for 30 years and that's not what you do. He was saying no to things without even consulting his manager and I told him you always tell the customer let me see what I can do for you so that the customer feels like youre trying to get things done and even when you can't you make your Manger tell the customer no.. Even after their screw up they were unwilling to accommodate my needs. So after he has told me what he can't do for the 10th time my frustration is through the roof so I say give me someone else I can talk to so of course their is no sales manager I can complain to so he tells me who the manufacturer is so I call them they see the contract but sees that the actuall has not been sent in by Frank or Bulldog. So now I'm doing his job I tell them I need this building ASAP and to order it she ask is there any changes I want to make now before the order is final so I say let change the 14 guage steel frame to 12 gauge. She says I'll have to get them to send you another contract so I reluctantly agreed. FRANK calls and say hey you need to sign this new contract and send this money in asap while I have the girls in the office still here. It's April 5th so now I'm like I gotta have this building by May first bcuz my real deadline is Memorial Day Weekend. So I sign the contract and pay the money and the lady at the manufacturer is waiting on them to send it back. Frank calls and said he has everything I say good and tell him the lady is waiting to get this right back from you all so she can place the order. FRANK says I got you we're going to do it now, I said OK have a great weekend. Tell me why it's April 26th and I haven't heard from anyone so I called the manufacturer and not to my surprise FRANK didn't send the new contract right back to the lady I even sent him pictures of my site you would think he say to himself this guy is pretty upset let me double check to make sure his order is going smoothly. Nope it was a slap in the face like FU buddy. So to finally wrap this up Frank has been on a 3 week vacation since his last screw up.....basically he don't want to come to the phone the little coward yes I have some choice 3 and 4 letter words for him. A coworker of his sent the new contract over and I've been working with the manufacturer ever since and placed the new order on April 29th and I received my building on Memorial Day.... way too late but at least I finally got it. Steel Structures is the manufacturer they were great. Bulldog doesn't care much after they get your NONREFUNDABLE down payment I'm pretty sure that's how they all get paid. All I can say is if you do business with Bulldog which I dont recommend please stay away from FRANCISCO RANGEL.

After deciding on Bulldog Steel Structures for our storage building we placed a call to the establishment. We were connected to Axel to answer our questions. Axel is very knowledgeable and without hesitation answered all our questions. He quoted us a price with information on financing and the necessary procedures/documents needed. Having worked customer service in the past I was extremely impressed with Axel. I will highly recommend your business because of the great service I received from Axel.

My 1st project was back in 2020, Frank was very professional and was the cheapest quote around. I loved my building but unfortunately sold that house 2 years ago. So I needed to order another garage, and Frank was my 1st thought because of how smoothly everything went back in 2020. Once again, he was the cheapest around and answered all questions and concerns I had. If you need anything, call Frank he will hook you up.

I was referred to Will Easter of Bulldog Steel Structures from my brother in law who had designed and purchsed a garage by them. I worked with Will for close to 3-4 months off and on before pulling the trigger and purchasing a unit. He was great to work with. I bounced through probably 2 dozen design with him. He ran things like different gauge steel tubing, different roof pitches and door configurations running of panels horizontal or vertical , wall heights, structure length and window elevations until the right one was found for myself and in the budget I wanted. When I would contact him even weeks apart many times, he was always quick in turning around my changes until I finally pulled the trigger. When I did he got me the plans I needed with the engineering stamps for South Carolina. Everything I needed to pull a permit was supplied.

The company he contracted with is a major reputable company out of North Carolina. They called me when they got the order. They mentioned my pad size needed to be slightly bigger than the structure. That was in the foundation plans Will supplied me. They held the order until the pad was built(about a month). Then scheduled for 3 weeks after the pad was poured(concrete curing). The workers showed up 8AM the day they scheduled. Worked dawn to dark in April to get it built in 2.5 days. The workers cleaned up, screws and metal strips all picked up and hauled away all the scraps with them and the other debris left overs. The crew walked me through and around the building to make certain things were to my approval and showed me how the doors all worked. In all from the purchase to complete about 7 weeks of which most was all concrete work and dry time.

My final design I decided on from Will is a 70x30 main structure with 14 foot walls and a 30x12 foot lean. The lean is at 12 foot in elevation. The structure being so large, I had 2 entry doors for access. One on the side and one under the lean for rainy days. It has 6 30x36 inch windows and 3 rollup doors. You can add as many windows as you want. There are two 10x10 rollup doors and one 12x12 ft. Under the leans the door is on the right side and windows to the center and left so as to create a nice large 20+ foot work bench area with views. The colors chosen were to match my Barn built 8 years earlier. The colors are a near perfect match. Barn Red sides, Green for the Roof and wainscoting and the fascia being a pebble Beige from the manufactures color pallet.

My wife is very happy with the structure as am I. It is now completed and I can move all my mowers a couple cars a trailer tractor and more out her barn and into my Garage.

Bulldog structures was the easiest company to work with. Brian was knowledgeable about the process, structure, installation process and if he didn’t have an answer to any of my questions he would find out in short order. The installation went seem less even when I was out of town. Communication about installation date could have been better to avoid us being out of town. The crew worked hard in very difficult weather to complete the install on time. The only thing that was not excel was the clean up of all the metal screws that were left lying around on the ground and on the driveway ( flat tires). I guess this might have happened since the installation took place during a snow storm. Overall a good experience and all timelines meet as promised. I would recommend this company.

Building took a while to get delivered, but end of the year made it difficult, plus weather changed the schedule. Overall the process was pretty good--so many things to consider.

Excellent customer service! Unfortunately due to county permit guidelines pertaining to my property lines I was unable to get the building. These gentlemen did a great job. They actually had 2 jobs in one day. They arrived at my house at 3 pm and had my 36x20 metal building installed in 5 hours! I will be using them again for future buildings!

We walked into Bulldog Steel Structures and we knew exactly what we wanted. Axel our sales rep. was amazing. We were able to pick one of the newer colors "colony" it's a sage green we went with the black waynes coating and it looks AMAZING! We did a 30 X30 garage and a 30 X 40 workshop. I just had a barn installed that I purchased through Bulldog Steel and my experience was fantastic. Will was my salesman and he walked me through the entire process. Will was great and never made me feel as if I was asking crazy questions or being long winded, which I am certainly guilty of. He was a true professional the entire process. The installation crew was also fantastic. Roberto and his crew showed up on time and got straight to work. They were constantly cleaning up making sure all the screws and scraps were off the ground so they didn't have a chance to cause a flat tire. They left the place cleaner than when they arrived and I am extremely grateful for them. I would recommend Bulldog so much that I am having them design and build my Barndominium in the next couple months.

I am very satisfied with my 18x26 carport I purchased through Bulldog Steel Structures. The quality and the timeliness of the install was great. Other suppliers said they could not install a building within 3' of another structure but these guys can do it. The install crew was great to work with and very professional. Will and the team from Bulldog made my first time metal building purchase one the best experiences ever! From the initial inquiries, discussions, design (multiple iterations on my part), finding the right product and follow-up, this is a company I would recommend and go back to again. Needed a carport for a wellness/break area on a construction site. Contacted Chase on a Wednesday afternoon and it was installed on Friday afternoon. Can't beat that service! Highly recommend!

My 24x30 building was completed last week, and I am completely satisfied. I had been looking for a company to go with for about 6 months and decided to us Bulldog Steel Structures after looking at reviews, looking at their prior experience of completed building, and based on input from neighbors that have used Bulldog Steel Structures in the past. I enjoyed working with Bryan Valadez on this project. He did not push me into buying and that is very appreciated, and he promptly answered all my questions/concerns in a very timely manner. This level of service continued after the sale was completed, which isn’t always the case with some companies. The installers arrived on time and where very meticulous in the quality of the installation and made sure I was satisfied with the installation before they departed. I am a satisfied customer and do plan on using Bullhead Steel Structures on my next metal building purchase.

Beware, the company they use to erect their buildings (Carolina carports) has very bad reviews. Although our building is beautiful it failed inspection due to not being built per the building plans. We have a building fully paid for and we can't put anything in it yet. There seems to be a disconnect somewhere between Bulldog and Carolina Carports or Carolina Carports and the rectifiers because after waiting several weeks for them to come back out to fix all the issues they arrived and didn't have what they needed even though my husband relayed in detail to Bulldog what all needed to be done to pass inspection. Now we are at the mercy of Carolina Carports scheduling for them to come back out for the 3rd time. I feel we should be a priority due to the fact we paid for services in full. We have been extremly patient waiting on them to rectify the problems. Our salesman has been doing his best to communicate etc but to say we are frustrated is an understatment. It is still unclear if and when they will come back out to rectify the problems and we are considering paying someone else to do what's left and sending them a bill because we are tired of waiting and waiting and calling and calling and getting the run around. We will likely end up taking them to small claims court and reporting them to the BBB unless we can get this taken care of and pass inspection.

Reply to owner below: Our specialist and the manufacturer should have been doing everything they could to get all the materials together for the second time we waited patiently for them to come out to fix everything. That's my point. How do you go to do a job out of town and not make sure you have everything you need? That is common sense. I would certainly think twice continuing to use Carolina Carports.

This was a great experience with Bulldog. The barn is well done. We had some weather related scheduling delays, but once they arrived they went right to work. We are very pleased with our building and would recommend them to anyone wanting good craftsmanship. The communication from the company was excellent! Thanks for your help on this project!

We used Bulldog to order a custom garage. The process was super simple and a customer service rep got in contact with me very quickly. Will Easter helped me through the entire process. He was super friendly and responsive, even when I had a million questions. The structure was built through Carolina Carports and we had an overall great experience with them too. We’re super happy with our new garage and I would definitely recommend them!

I needed a garage. So I went on line and found a in closed R. V. Carport would be less money. I ordered one . I had a concrete slab poured . Was told it would be 6 weeks to order building and have it installed. Building was finished in 2 weeks . I love it.

The building we bought from Bulldog was just finished yesterday and we love it! It is well built, with lots of room to meet our various needs, all in one structure. (Farm and Garden Storage, Tractor Parking, and Animal Housing) And it turned out beautiful! It is not the kind of building you want to hide from view, it makes your property look even better. During the design process Will was so patient as I made numerous changes to fit our price point, which was way less than we expected. Will also checked in on us throughout the process, even while he was on vacation:) There are several companies where you can buy a metal building so I did my research and Bulldog's prices beat their competitors by a lot and I never felt like any corners were cut to deliver the better priced building. I whole heartedly recommend buying from Bulldog Steel Structures! We could not be happier with the look and functionality of our new building as well as the excellent customer service at Bulldog!

I worked with Will, he helped me with the design phase, answered any questions I had and was easy to communicate with.
The most challenging part of this project was working with the city planning department. They have very specific requirements. I ordered engineered drawings from the manufacturer and that helped the process.
The building was installed by a local contractor/installer about a month after the concrete was poured.
I recommend Bulldog to everyone who asks me about my building, but if I had to do it again I would have asked more specific questions. For example: I chose the "full insulation" option thinking I would get actual fiberglass insulation, but all I got was reflective bubble wrap type insulation. It's OK, I can spray foam over it; just not what I was expecting. I also would have picked the "colored screws" option.
I really like the powered roll-up door. It has an auto-close function that I found very useful.
There were a couple of hiccups between the engineers, the manufacturer and installers, but they were handled by the manufacturer and not a fault of Bulldog.

Overall a positive experience and the building came out great. If I ever order another metal building, it will be from Bulldog.

Building was exactly what I wanted. Workers worked in the rain for 2 1/2 days to get this building up. This was a big building 50 x 58 with two lean twos Carolina structure. Very satisfied with this company. Salesman Answered all my calls or returned all my calls.

We received great customer service from Chase Smith. He was very helpful in helping us to design our new storage structure. Chase went above his responsibilities and even facilitated our payment with the help of Randall Hall. Both of these guys did an awesome job getting our project started. Our structure came and was installed in a timely manner. Our installer, Gus, was awesome as well. He arrived at the time he told us he would be there and worked diligently to make sure the structure was installed to the specifications we expected. All in all we are very happy with our new structure and would definitely recommend Bull Dog Steel Structures. We love the color of the white trim with the black roof and beige siding. The customer service was amazing, from first contact, all the way to signing of papers. It was effortless and expedited. Humberto replied right back to every inquiry I had, including all options, associated costs, and recommendations. Matt has been so wonderful to us. We live in a difficult county and he helped us all the way through our permitting process. Over 100 emails transpired and he answered every single one promptly and professionally. I cannot say enough about how he has gone above and beyond for us!

Bulldog Steel Structures and Carolina Carports are a nightmare to work with. Carolina Carports insist that you work through their "local representatives" to design your building. My local representative is Bulldog Steel Structures. Both companies are located in Dobson, NC, and work closely together. Bert and Bryan, from Bulldog Steel Structures spent more than a month designing for me a $50,000+ metal building, 30' by 60', for office, pottery studio and garage, and that required $10,000+ in insulation to keep warm in the winter, and THEY KNEW the building would require electricity for lighting, heating and air conditioning. I had to pay Bulldog Steel Structures $7,000+ as my "local representative" to design the building. I was on a tight schedule. Then Carolina Carports tells me, after I signed my contract and they installed my building, that I would void my building warranty if I put in electricity, heating and air conditioning, which Carolina Carports does not install. The contract that I signed with Carolina Carports, in tiny print near the end of a long contract, states in one sentence that if I modify the building in any way my actions will void the building contract. I assumed that this meant if I personally made the changes. In fact, Carolina Carports told me yesterday, and reiterated today, they mean even licensed, bonded and certified electricians and HVAC technicians who change the building will void my contract. I could not believe it. Nevertheless, Carolina Carports advertises today (8/17/2022) on their web site an office building that has heat pumps outside the building with electrical panels. Also, on their web site, they list proudly a 20 year warranty, but don't mention that you'll lose your building warranty if you install electricity in the building. Who does not need electric lighting in a large building that serves as a studio, garage and office?

Carolina Carports and Bulldog Steel Structures have a misleading and, I believe, fraudulent process for sales and marketing that seduces customers to design and build buildings, and pay non-refundable deposits to their "local representatives," before Carolina Carports notifies you, the duped consumer, in no uncertain terms, that any changes that their "local representatives" have helped you plan will void your building warranty. Neither company takes responsibility for what the other company tells you.

Stay away from Carolina Carports and Bulldog Steel Structures.

I am posting this review for Bulldog Steel structors because I was genuinely impressed with the customer service, quality of work and pricing on their building. I spoke with Will for my sales representative and I cannot say enough nice things about him, courteous, understanding and absolutely a great person to work with even when I had contractor issues with setting up my site. I love my new building and they have a customer for life after how they treated me. Id recommend Bulldog to anyone in NC looking for a building.

The sales people are good, i haven't got to have the installation of building done yet so i will update review once its done.

Very well pleased with this company I spoke with Will he was very easy to work with kept me updated on everything it takes 4 to 8 weeks for the building to get but well worth the wait the installers was very professional and great at what they do made sure I was satisfied with the work they did before leaving....if you need a good strong building give this company a call ask for Will
