Five Star Metal Buildings

65’x30’ building finished yesterday. Looks great but, it rained last night and I have 7 out of 9 windows leaking water into the building. The 2 not leaking are under a lean to.
2 Walk in doors. 1 leaking water into the building. Non leaker is under the lean to.
As far as I can tell none of the windows or doors have any kind of seal around them.
Calls and emails have so far got me it’s been turned in and will give me a call a week before the guys can come fix it. When???
So far very disappointed in the service.
I’ll update post up or down when and how long it takes till something is done to fix it.

Omar Gomez and his crew just finished installation of my carport cover and our 30 x 30 garage. They we’re extremely friendly, professional, and efficient with their time in getting our structures put together. We have been saving for a long time to do this work and could not be happier with the results. They did a great job with cleanup after the job and asked several times during the construction if we were satisfied with the service. I highly recommend 5 Star Buildings if you need work done.

The 5 star crew came today and installed my 18x35 rv carport and they done a great job. They were very professional and when they left, they cleaned everything up There was nothing left for me to do as far as clean up. From the sales people, Victoria and Amanda to the install crew I couldn’t have asked for better. I would highly recommend!

In 2 days, we had a 25’x40’ insulated garage building. We love it! The team of 4 guys knew their roles and got it done! We are very happy.

Horrible experience so far! Do not buy from these people I feel like it is a scam. They took a 1,000 up front and has rescheduled and rescheduled. Customer service is horrible they keep telling us they will reach out to the installer and call us back and haven’t heard a thing. Guess I will contact the BBB. Suppose to be here Wednesday of this week so far not even a courtesy call to let us know if they still on or rescheduling.

I recently had Ignacio and his crew out to my home to build my 14x25 steel building and wow wow wow I am extremely impressed with their quality and attention to detail. I have ocd and have watched a ton of YouTube videos on these structures and was worried to start this project but when I tell you these guys have everything lined up and screwed in perfectly. I couldn’t be happier with their service and kindness! I would not hesitate to recommend the crew to anyone looking to have a metal building installed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I been waiting over a year to get my garage door yhey came out 3 mts ogo but gave me the wrong door plus it was not new trying to call yhem but no luck if your building a new garage go with someone else caue they sre very unreliable

Got my car pool designed by Bull Buildings, then sent for scheduling and completion by Five Star. The scheduling process was smooth, they allowed me to make a height change before scheduling as well. The install crew from E&A installations was great! They helped me understand all aspects of the car pool, and showed me how I would be able to install future doors and windows by myself.

The only feedback I would leave is to have Five Star’s installers contact the customer for clarification on fine details right at scheduling time. Allowing the customer to listen to suggestions from them prior to arrival.

Started out kinda worried bc the crew got a little behind and wasn’t much communication from the office to us. But Alberto and his crew showed up late afternoon busted out the frame and some of the siding, next morning returned and finished it fully! Done an amazing job! Very polite, fast and productive. Was able to address some of our concerns and fix them immediately. Honestly no issues beside the communication from the office. We talked about possibly extending later on and he said he’d be glad to come back n do it. Gave us a card and said we could contact him directly which really sold us on it! Knowing we wouldn’t have to deal with the issues from the office side! Highly recommend five star metal buildings and Alberto and his crew!

Mr. Lopez and his crew did an amazing job on our metal shop! They had the entire shop built in one day. They had great communication with us doing the process. They cleaned up nice as well. Highly recommend!

A team of four. Tirso, Beto, Alex, and Joshua was the team that assembled my bulding. I am very happy with there workman ship, performance and professionalism. The humidity was high and temps In the 90's. I would recomend fivestar to anyone that wants a medal building. They know what they are doing. Thanks for building my building.

The installer was nice and polite he altered building to make it look like i wanted i was pleased with the final result and they worked fast and efficient and they left their work place i didn't have to clean behind nice job fellows

My building turned out better than I expected, very happy with it. We had many delays due to weather but I am pleased with the outcome. They cleaned up after themselves very well. I'm not sure who was the crew leader was, but most communication was through Ray Ray, thanks again for a job well done.

The installers arrived with everything they needed and worked very professionally and finished in one day great job. Building is high quality as I ordered. I consider our purchase one of the best buys we have ever gotten. Thank you 5 Star.

Absolutely a great experience with five star metal buildings. The installer was amazing. He and his crew knew exactly what they were doing down to the smallest details. The office staff were very responsive with information and helping me design my dream shop space. I will be using them again for a barn soon.

Customer service was absolutely terrible, I wouldn't recommend to anyone with all the hassle and money they put on Me. They say you don't need a permit and the job got shut down just so they can charge me more money for restock fee,this is the worst company I've ever dealt with just trying to scam you for more money. The building guys were awsome got the job done fast and efficient. That's the only thing that satisfied Me.. love My garage though

Our salesman, Carson, was very helpful in the ordering process and responded quickly to our questions. Josue and his crew assembled our metal building very quickly and were polite and respectful and cleaned up before leaving.

Tirso and his crew ROCK. Not only where they professional, and respectful, they made sure to verify with me how I wanted the garage laid out. They were able to gets this job done in one day, even with a thunderstorm passing through and stopping them for a period of time. They cleaned up behind themselves and doubled checked for any screws or metal that may have fallen inside the garage. I knew that the color I picked out was not an exact match, they checked twice that it was what I ordered.

Worst customer service
Five Star Metal is installed the wrong door in my building and they refuse replacing with correct door after four time I use the door. broke down three car garage door in the first two weeks two doors is broken poor installation and the door was not install properly bracket for the door supposed to be bolted by bolts. They are using two screw sheet metal to hold roller door about 300 pounds. for the door when I complained they send the installer to fix it. Fix it the they installer showed up at 8:30 at night and he said he can shoot couple of screws to hold the bracket this his solution and I told him no replace the door or change the bracket and they refuse and left first time and it broke again, and the door was not installed properly, only two sheet metal screws holding the bracket for the roller door

If anyone decide to purchase Med building, do your shopping and stay away for Five start building because once they get their money, they don’t care now we going to the court

I want to give a big shout out to alberto cruz and his 2 guys for a job very well and professionally done.these 3 guys put up my 24x28 building in less than 12 hours . WOW.they were very neat and kept the trash picked up even after I told them not to worry I would get it.Alberto answered all my questions and even give me some pointers on the roll up doors. Great quality building. Crew worked long hours to complete in 3 days and had to fight wind gusts on the 2nd day. I highly recommend this company!

We had a metal building and gutters done in April of 2024. First of all, the install was pushed back multiple times, with us cancelling plans and missing work to be home for the install. In addition, we had another contractor scheduled to do additional work and thank goodness he was flexible and able to shift his schedule around. Secondly, we were to get a refund for two downspouts that were not installed, which took several hours of calls to Eric and 4 months to get a refund, only to be told that don’t refund the sales tax. After completing the job, we had a downpour within two weeks, in which the gutters nor downspouts held water, with it coming out of every possible seam, not to mention that the rivits used were already rusting and the gap in the downspouts was big enough for me to place my finger in. We also had a garage door that was too tight and needed adjusting and a window that was not working. After many hours on the phone with Eric again, he sent a crew out to do the repairs, or so I thought. They adjusted the garage door, and took pictures of the gutters, and said the window would be addressed at another time and they would get the pictures to Eric, but agreed that the gutters needed to be replaced. So once again we were waiting. No word in a month so I called Eric yet again. He stated that he told me to send pictures and he never received them. I was never advised to personally send him pictures, as I was told that he couldn’t do anything until his crew got him the pictures he needed. So he called me a liar, when he was the one doing all the lying. So I went out at that point and took the pictures of the poor work and gutters that didn’t hold water, to include one with my finger inserted into the seam in the downspout. And the wait began again. Never heard anything back so again, I contacted 5 Star Metal Buildings. At that time, I was told that they agreed and would be refunding me the price I paid for the gutters, again less the tax paid. Here we are, the middle of April 2025, never received a refund from them for the gutters and downspouts, and was told on two occasions that they had sent the check. NEVER received it and here we are over a year later. Now in addition, the building roof is leaking and they scheduled us for a repair again, and we took off work to be here , and they didn’t come. This has been the worst experience and I would highly recommend that you find another company to do your building. This will also be taken further than just here but wanted to let others know. This company has absolutely no morals and honest people working for them. Oh, btw, still no call on the repair of the window either.

Pityful communication. Building scheduled to be installed…cancelled and rescheduled. I called to confirm… “yes they will be there.” New date, no one showed up, not even a phone call. Waited all day. No one to call as office isn’t open on Saturdays apparently. It doesn’t cost anything to do what you say you will do. If deposit wasn’t already paid I’d be looking for someone else. Just an idea… if you’re going to have work performed , well, suppose to be performed, on the weekend the least you could do is take calls.

Leo and his group were top notch, they worked long hours to get my building up before the rain hit mid week, they put in 12 to 13 hour days and never complained. I also identified a few things that were not quite right and they fixed them without hesitation.
Leo was very easy to talk to and got the job done in a professional manner.
I can’t say enough about the crew.

Very unpleasant experience. Communication is by far the worst. 3 big problems with my install. Only one has been corrected so far. The laborers held installation until I paid them cash to help me clear snow off my pad. They forgot to install insulation that was clearly on the invoice and the damaged my fresh concrete pad with snow melt. One panel on my lean two roof is cut and damaged. This install started in January. It is now March. Justin has promised to make this right but won’t pick up my calls and I’m left stuck putting anything in the garage has the floor must be grinded to removed the damaged concrete. I did everything I was supposed to, bought lunch for the crew and they did not do there part. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I want to thank Johnny and his crew for doing an outstanding job on my 30'X70' steel building from 5 Star Metal Buildings. They were all very polite and I have never seen anybody work so hard. Katy at Five star would not return calls or emails. Basically they have No customer service!
My roof leaked and was told they would repair it the 2nd week of January. No call and no show. Had another company repair it!

Five Star Metal recently built our structure and they were first class in every way. From communication to timeliness of install. Special shoutout to Maria who was exceptional with customer service. She always made herself available to answer questions and keep us in the loop on what was going on. Highly recommend using them for your next build.

Can only recommend this business. Ordered a 28x35ft metal building last year in may and had a lot of things come up with zoning and concrete issues which delayed the installation by almost 9 months.

5 star had no issues with that and once I was ready they were out in less than 4 weeks after contacting and they had it build in 12 hours!

I had an issue with one of the roll up doors starting to hang 3 days later. Contacted them at 1pm and they had somebody out here SAME DAY to fix it.

Also had an issue with payment since the installation day fell on MLK day, which had my bank closed and I was unable to get a check written that day. No issue for 5 star and I was able to mail it to them on a later date.

Over all VERY pleased with this company and I can only recommend it to others. Had a few people drive up and ask where I got the building from and I will always tell them to go to 5 star metal buildings.

Wonderful experience! The team built our building quickly and efficiently, leaving behind no mess for us to clean up. We felt like it was Christmas morning when we were able to see the building they built for us.

The installation was awesome, very professional, my concrete wasn't level, but they adjusted the building to fit it perfectly!! They didn't do the concrete!!! The building is well built. but don't trust the sales people when they tell you the delivery time they lie to get the sale!!!!!!! I was told 4 to 6 weeks ended up taking 3 months, don't believe them when they talk to you!!!! They make lots of excuses and try to blame the weather. I never had any bad weather!!!!! Add a month and a half to whatever you are told!!!!! Building is very well built. Materials are great. Installation company is awesome the best I have ever seen. Im retired from construction, 5 star have very poor management!!!!!!!!

If I could give this place a ZERO I would. At this point I have put down several thousand dollars, sign RTO contracts, have gotten nothing but run around from incompetent people at this company. I worked for a company like this for several years and can honestly say save your money and go else where. Now I am out money, no one will actually help, have no carports and shopping for a lawyers tomorrow. Save yourself the heartache and go elsewhere. An if anyone from this company says other wise test me and I'll update my post with a bunch of photographs to prove it.

Installation was a little slow getting scheduled but was worth the wait. Installers did a fantastic job. My buildindg looks great and built very well. Very satisfied. I would use again.

Was told 6-8 weeks build time from point of purchase in June. Three months later, was told first week of October. Was then told October 28th. Was then told October 31st. Was then told November 2nd. Finally showed up at 3pm Sunday November 3rd and finished the afternoon of Monday the 4th. Cost me 2 days off work. Satisfied with the building and the workers were nice, but scheduling department needs an overhaul.

I had a 30x50 metal building installed by Leo and his crew. They did an outstanding job and finished a full day ahead of schedule. I could not be any happier. Thank you Leo and Five Star Metal Building.

Five Star Buildings and 4TE Millennium Buildings work together.

Same as the rest of their other 1 star reviews, do yourself a favor and pull them up. Placed a deposit of $5,000 for a large building. Once the deposit was paid Pablo kept giving me the run around on why we were not moving forward. There was an Erik with FIVE STAR Metal Buildings that was supposed to call me to put the metal into production. It never happened. Pablo would tell me there was a miscommunication issue and Erik would call me tomorrow... He never would call.

1) I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company
2) Now filing a case with the NC Department of Justice DOJ
3) Negative reviews on google and BBB.
4) Put an attorney on retainer to send a demand letter so we can get it into the county clerk of courts for an arbitration case/settlement case since it is within the limits of NC small claims court I need an attorney to get to a district court. Check with your local county clerk of court on your min and max for small claims court. It's worth the small fee an attorney will charge you to write a demand letter on retainer to get you past small claims to district court.

Please reach out if you need to the know the process of doing this. If a deposit is paid and you do have not receive goods or services you will win a case. Following the steps above will get you recourse with this company.

I am very pleased with the metal building. They custom designed and installed. Every part of the process was better than expected. I highly reccomend!

Building looks great. Have gotten lots of compliments. Install crew was on time and had the Building up quickly. Great communication, would recommend if in the market for a metal Building.

I purchased a two car carport. It is installed and the carport is excellent. It looks good and provides great protection for my vehicles. Their communication needs to be better. The first time it was scheduled they cancelled on short notice then then they came back a few weeks later, the installation crew arrived with no advance notice. I was at work and couldn’t be on site so this resulted in the structure being placed about three feet from where it should have been.

I couldn't be happier. The building that I ordered came write to every specs that I wanted. The workers were such a pleasant to get to know hard workers. Thank you.

My 24 x 36 garage was built August 13th ..I ordered garage door openers .Which crew could not install..After several conversations and calls to service mgr Eric...finally found out Eric was no longer with company..Spoke with Mgr katy..who was going to look Into it..crew was sent out sept 30th...obviously had never installed had to read instructions..but installed..one worked one didnt...I have called every week to request Mgr to call me and tell me what was going to be done..to either replace opener or return my money..Haven't had anyone call me..and Mgr is never available...so I leave message to return my call and no one ever does..My mistake was paying in full..till job was done..Sure if I hadn't paid someone would be calling...Think they have issues in office with communication and management...Work crew was great and did all they could...to make things right..Love my garage..just want them to finish what I paid for....Management hasn't done good at all...Recommend don't pay in full till completely done..still out about $2k....
It is now December 4th..Month since my last post..I have contacted company evert week..sometimes every other since my construction was completed..Problem with roller doors continues..Crew showed up last Monday pm (unknowing to me they were coming)..replaced opener motor but they say garage door needs to be replaced now(no tension)this is second time they have replaced door...first time was damaged on install..Also crew asked for cash to replace 2nd door...(no check), so sure company not aware of this...WILL NOT happen again(as I wasn't home then) Was told by Brooke ( in scheduling)that she wasn't aware of latest visit..would check and get back..COMMUNICATION PEOPLE..Love my garage..but this company has issues with office communication and between crews(which are probably contract..also speak broken English)..Just want my doors fixed or return my money...Will see how long it is...if ANYONE calls me back..if not will be calling again next week...
DEC 12TH,another call to 5 star and the office and management brings down ratings..Have called every week or so..since NO ONE there calls me or gives a crap..as they got their money..(made mistake shouldn't have paid till satisfied).Crew came out 2 weeks ago..replaced garage door opener and now they say garage door needs to be replaced(no tension).Have been waiting 4 months since they started construction..Totally unnecessary...Would love for manager to come see what problem is and address when will be repaired...but NO ONE..will even call you....guess I need to look at legal options...

Five star metal buildings did an awesome job from ordering to getting building up!Let me tell you the building is very nice!!! Edwardo from E&A Installations went above and beyond.They told me they would be at my house at 8:00am they arrived at 7:55 they worked non stop on my building 30’by35’ with 14’ walls from 8am till midnight and never stopped working these guys were awesome and did a great job!!!

Five star gave me a erection date and then called 2 days before the date and said they were behind and couldn’t make it after I had already scheduled to be off of work,they told me they could be there in 2 days so I agreed,I was able to get a day off luckily from work on such a short notice,I drove 3.5 hrs from nc to my place in West Virginia where the bldg was going and the crew didn’t even show up to put the bldg up. If I had read the reviews on this company before purchase they would have never gotten my business, they don’t want to talk about reimbursing the 200.00 in gas and lost work time for there inability to run a respectable business, I already have plans for another bldg on this site but will not waste my time with this company, I didn’t even get a call to let me know they weren’t coming,I just waited all day.i have found a reputable seller locally to purchase this other bldg from. Don’t waste your time and money like I did.

It took a little longer than initially expected due to several weeks of rain/wet conditions that delayed pouring of the concrete pad, but no fault of Five Star Metal Buildings. Once the pad was poured/ready, the installation crew was excellent and I'm very pleased with the end result! Would recommend them to family/friends. The 12x20 feet storage shed allowed me to secure lawn/garden equipment and clear up space in the garage which can now be used for its intended purpose.

Good quality product, great installers but, a bit disappointed with the lack of communication and prolonged turnaround time. Originally advised 4-5 weeks for delivery which ended up being 10.5 weeks.

We thank Five Star Metals Buildings for our Great new building. The whole process was professionally handled. Time-line was on target and installation was efficient. Our expectations have been exceeded.

The company was very professional and easy to work with. They customized my design to accommodate a typical hangar door for my aircraft. The installation crew was very efficient and left the jobsite clean.

Not the best to work with but could be worse. Crew was scheduled to arrive Wednesday and didn't. Crew was then guaranteed to me to be there first thing the next morning. Crew arrives around 430pm. If I could rate the crew alone definitely 5 stars. They were very professional for the few hours I interacted with them.

I took 2 days off work to be available for the build that way I could accommodate their policy of payment when complete. Being as I would have to return to work, which is out of town for the next few months, I was told I could mail the payment once I looked over the finished product.

Once the crew was finished the office started hassling me about payment upon completion and basically saying they weren't going to wait until I was back in town. 7 days and I would have been home for one day off to look it over and mail the check. But once they found out that the check was at the house they started pushing for my wife to look over the building and give them the check.

If you want to work with a company that doesn't keep their word then treats you like your in the wrong for holdingthem to their word go ahead. I surely would not recommend.

Even reached out to them about adding insulation and almost 24 hours went by and no response on a quote. Ultimately told them no longer interested in the quote after the payment problem.

Five Star did a great job of installing my garage. It is a beautiful addition. It actually turned out better than I thought it would. High quality steel frames are welded in place and the auto door openers are easy to operate manually while I get power to the building. The colors are exactly what I wanted, and the garage is probably gonna be there in 100 years. I couldn't be happier with the build
I took a star for a couple of reasons. 1 the side door was not centered on the sidewalk and I sent pics and measurements to the salesman. I asked for a phone call before the build to answer some questions. I believe you should reach out by phone to your customers. No phone call in the beginning. Everything was done by email til the end. They called once to change the install date and they weren't interested in my convenience. The garage was built during a 3 day power outage which meant my wife had to stay at the house all day without power. I would have been home 2 days later. That would have been convenient for me and my wife. Secondly, like I said the build was great, but there were some cigarette butts and some used sawblades and quite a bit of dust after the crew left.
Overall it's a great building. With a bit better communication I would recommend 5 star again.

Building is beautiful, was worth the wait! The crew who installed it were pleasant to work with, easy transactions all the way through!!!

I purchased my 40x50x10 building through a dealer, we definitely had some misunderstandings to put it mildly. The crew literally rushed the job leaving the trim they did install a mess, I had major leaks between the concrete and seal plate and my concrete is well above grade. Talked to two people with different stories, apparently they don't know how to install their own product, both of them telling me it was my fault and wouldn't own their mistakes. The owner herself finally reached out to me trying to make it right, but it was going to be at my expense. I told her to forget about it I never want to see these people again especially after the way I was talked to. I'm in Kentucky and they're in north Carolina so suing them would be a major ordeal. I decided to fix the issues they caused, myself and move on. I have photos of their crap work if anyone wants to see them. My advise is don't purchase a building from out of state. If you can't look them in the eye when your doing business, it's not worth it. If you have an issue they will talk to you like you're a punk and won't honor their end of the contract or stand behind the warranty. Bunch of cowards. I have so much more to say, but in a nutshell, I was screwed over and all they did was laugh at me. I really wish I could see them face to face. I'll never purchase another building from these people. If they would pay me every dime I've been out, I'd tell them to just come and take it away and start over, but we all know that ain't happening. They're to busy spending my money. Updated with photos. Metal didn't extend past concrete, no rat guard. The people running the job should have communicated to me there was an issue with the concrete bulging out, slightly. I could have fixed it in 30 minutes. I took vacation during the build. It wasn't like I wasn't there. Come on, really.
Well, it's been several months now. I installed rat guard around the bottom, trying to correct this hideous mess they left me. I still have major leaks coming in around both of my walk-in doors and I haven't been able to fix the trim at the top of the building. I finally found a local contractor willing to look at this mess and hopefully get the leaks to stop. It will cost me a lot of extra money to fix someone else's negligence and blatant screw ups, but maybe I'll finally be able to use my garage. Anyone that is considering having a metal building built I seriously suggest using someone local that you can look in the eye and definitely don't use these people. One can only hope that they go out of business and stop taking advantage of people.

Lack of communication from you and your guys caused the concrete issue, which I was available to fix. I've installed trim to correct most of the leaks. Walk in doors leak, windows leak and the trim up top looks horrible which had nothing to do with the concrete. My roll up doors leak but they're junk anyway I will replace them later. I told you not to come back because of the way your people talked to me over the phone trying to indicate it was all my fault. If you want to come back and fix the trim then do so. It's your reputation not mine. Make sure your guys shit at the truck stop and not at my house. Clean up their mess this time.
