The Building Concepts team was exceptional from start to finish with our kitchen remodel. The communication was spot-on and everything was done super efficiently. We now have the kitchen of our dreams thanks to Building Concepts and will definitely be using them in the future for any other home remodels. (Note: we are still in the process of refinishing our floors).

Building Concepts exceeded our expectations! We had our kitchen renovated and flooring updated in both the kitchen and adjoining rooms. Jason was great to work with and listened to our needs and wants. He made suggestions that we had not thought to consider and we incorporated them into our plans.
The quality of the materials and workmanship was excellent. Living in a home while under construction is a challenge but Building Concepts understands that and made sure our lives were minimally disrupted and did so during the holiday season! We had Building Concepts renovate our kitchen and dining area, which including removing a wall to open up space. Jason helped us to figure out a layout that is both functional and looks great. All of the crews who came were respectful of our space and we are very pleased with the quality of their work. The project was completed without delays. We love our new space!

Building Concept recently build a 3-season sunroom on an existing deck of our house including a new deck attached to it at a reasonable price. It was not a straightforward project as additional poles were required to install under the existing deck and it was done appropriately. Building Concept demonstrated professionalism in terms of craftsmanship and timeline. The project coordinator Jason was always cooperative and accommodating and tried to resolve the issues efficiently in timely manner. The project was completed as planned and promised. I would strongly recommend Building Concept to consider.

We had building concepts put an addition on our house along with a new deck and full new kitchen. I would highly recommend them to anyone. This was our first big home project and I have to admit before coming across building concepts I was probably going to just say screw it and not do the project because everyone we talked to prior didn't even want to come out to the house to look at it. My husband and I purchased a 4 season sunroom from Building Concepts in Branford at our Cheshire residence. These guys are great from the start of our 3 season addition to our house. The entire process from when they would start to the very end.The works were very professional never a mess left friendly and very engaging about what the next were. Highly recommend them

Building Concepts did an amazing job on my kitchen remodel and master bathroom!! They were prompt and very receptive to my needs!! I would definitely recommend them. But, I do have one issue: Jason took the guys, who were ready to install shelving in my pantry, away for another job! I know his very busy, but weeks later they still have not installed my shelves! I’ve asked him to give me a date for installation, but have not heard back as of yet!

We absolutely love our new kitchen, it honestly makes it seem like an entirely new house! We had spent years researching and planning out this project and Jason and his team brought our vision to reality even better than we had hoped for. I highly recommend Building Concepts for your home project. Most importantly the quality is excellent, and followed up with competitive pricing. The crew who worked on my sun room was professional and left a clean worksite at the end of each day. The last day of the project they showed up with extra material and remodeled my stairs with new treads and aluminum wrapping at no extra charge. Management stopped by each day to check on the progress and ensure everything was perfect.

Building Concepts turned our decrepit back porch into a lovely sunroom, and they did a great job! From start to finish, they were easy to work with, responsive to my questions, friendly, and did high quality work. I’ll definitely use them again for any home remodels I need to do!

One of many examples of this occurred when we wanted to keep some of our old kitchen cabinets to put in our new garage, but had no place to store them during construction. Without us asking, they sent someone over to put them in our yard on pallets and wrapped them in weatherproof plastic – at their expense.

Overall we give our highest recommendation to Building Concepts. With most other contractors, we have had wrangles along the way that typically leave me eagerly waiting to get rid of them. With Building Concepts however, they kind of feel like family by the end and you’re a bit sorry to see them go.

Our dream victorian greenhouse is completed and we are so grateful to Building Concepts for making it happen. What started out as another “scheme” turned out to be the jewel in our home. We are spending exceedingly large parts of our day in our new gorgeous room. There is something very special being part of the outdoors and being in the elements in all weather. From the first morning light to sunset , snow and rain to sunshine, our room radiates warmth.
From the planning stages, the materials used and attention to all the finest details, were beyond our expectations. The engineering and aesthetics are state of the art. The construction crew was professional, meticulous and took enormous pride in their work. The subcontractors Building Concepts recommended were also top notch.
Building Concepts greased the wheel throughout the process, from the drawings, the building permit processes and of course supervising the construction. All questions and issues that arose were addressed and resolved.
We couldn’t be happier and it’s become the neighborhood “WOW”!!

Needed a new sun room roof: the installers took their time to do it right - even if it was very cold out. The one skylight leaked: they came out to try to fix it - found it to be defective and replaced it. Room looks beautiful again. Installers were friendly and efficient. I look forward to working with them again on other projects.

We contracted with Jason for a 3 season glass room. We had one in a previous residence, but the vendor was no longer in business so we found Jason and Building Concepts on-line. We were very pleased with both Jason’s informed description of the product and his ability to walk us through his showroom/work area. We had a long lead time for start, but he started on-time, and completed the construction as agreed and produced an excellent add on to our home. we wanted a 3 season room, even though he offered 4 season, and various alternatives. The room is better than expected, solid, and usable even in Winter on sunny days. The construction process was excellent. Each day his team cleaned up all debris. And left the premises clean. During the construction process we discovered dry rot around a window and wall. His team was able to reconstruct the area (which we paid for) and stayed pretty much on schedule. They left the completed project with not only a beautiful room, but a stronger dwelling. I would recommend Jason and Building Concepts to anyone interested in good quality work.

Had the pleasure of working with Jay to replace our solarium, and we couldn’t be happier. He was a great communicator and got things done even through this Covid nightmare. The contractors Lou and Lou were great, fantastic work with a great attention for detail. They were almost to good, choosing to walk around the entire house, when we told them they could cut through the house. Clean, polite, and just all around great people. It was such a pleasure to work with Jason! I have a small kitchen and needed more storage and ergonomic design was important as I have a bad back. He had excellent suggestions including a pantry which I love with slide out drawers so no need to reach in.

Everything we asked for/changed they were very accommodating. Jason, was attentive and had great communication from start to finish. For every large remodel or construction project you will run into road bumps or unexpected issues. Its how they are dealt with that makes or breaks the experience. Building concepts excelled.

Upon our first visit to Building Concepts we were very impressed talking with Jason and his ability to help us design the kitchen we hoped for. There were times while in the middle of our project we couldn't make a decision and Jason's advice was very helpful! We had a few changes along the way and were done without any hassle. We made a few trips to the Branford showroom for samples and Jim helped us out as well and let us take more samples. Our experience with this company has been a pleasure as well as speaking with Brenda and or Leah on the phone who were always a help to get the answers we needed. Everyone was very friendly and proffessional. The products provided are of very good quality and the company stands behind their products and workmanship. Jason expertly led a skilled team converting a large (16' x 24') deck into a beautiful sunroom. I opted for the glass ceiling. Jason helped me choose the HVAC system, a mini-split, and flooring, ceramic tile with the Schulter cushion padding with heat. Everyone who has experienced the room has marveled at how it was tied to the house and has an incredible view and is truly comfortable all 4 seasons. The team was responsible, polite, extremely neat, and very professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use Building Concepts for any remolding projects.

Jason came to do a consult for a kitchen renovation, and from the start he was extremely helpful. He provided a rendition of what the kitchen would look like after renovations within a day or two of visiting. The work went smoothly, no glitches along the way. Building concepts built our sunroom in 2008. We have been having constant roof leak problems every year or two. Customer service is poor. Slow response times and inferior quality of work. Now they want us to pay so much to have the problems fixed. At the time of installation they were BBB certified and they are not anymore due to their sub standard quality. Customers beware.
