We have a really nice New Store, warehouse, and lumberyard. We are working hard to get everything sorted out and in place. We are also getting all of Lincoln City's store and lumberyard moved and merged with ours.

As a DIYer, this store has most everything I've ever needed. I often drop my wife off at her appointments and spend my time just wandering around the store and drooling. I've found there are products for home improvement I would have never known existed. Their employees are always willing to take the time to help me find whatever I am looking for. Nice area specifically for woodworking tools like Dewalt, Porter Cable and Black and Decker. The only tool I've needed that they didn't carry was a router. This is my go-to store in Newport for all my DIY needs.

Had exactly what I needed. Ordered lumber from the desk and had it loaded without getting out of my truck on a rainy day.

Very poor customer service, we didn't need any help but arrived at 345 on a Saturday, no big deal. The front register girl was nice, didn't know the material we grabbed and handled it great. The overweight guy behind the counter on the other hand was very rude. We were paying, cool right? Anyway, an older lady pulled up OUTSIDE the establishment. And immediately the guy starts off with 'omg we dont have time for a 30 min conversation, and certainly dont have time for this.' He proceeded to say it was closing time over the intercom, then says 'I'm gonna go shut the front doors off (auto open doors)' the older lady starts to walk up to the front door and the man mentions 'we r closed' in the conversation. Mind you this is 4 exactly.... just being rude and sets an awful example for other employees. We wont be going back, copeland and barrel head are the way to go....

Otherwise, this place has been OK over the years i've lived in Newport. I've spent about $60k in this store from 2018 -2020. Decent attempts to do their best despite not having the best selection or knowledge gets them a star. I've had issues here, but I know the people who work here personally and that they are trying. I completely understand when corporate wants to enforce a policy and the local business has no choice or when the local "health" depts are fanatical. But this place 100% advocates forced facial coverings for everyone, everywhere and they are VERY vocal about it. They will not tolerate any other opinion or half-hearted compliance. I really don't need the politically biased, unfounded opinions shoved down my throat. But, I do support their right to make the choice as I have a right to leave them a 1 star on google and tell people not to shop their.

I might be willing to comply and/or do parking lot pickups etc. but cannot in good conscience support them anymore given their outspoken opinions. Done with Pro Build in ALL states. The good people I know here should look for work elsewhere and I'll even go out of my way to help them do so. A few have left recently already. This place is a corporate, montra repeating cog. Goodbye Builders FirstSource (not) and Pro Build.
