Really nice people. Will help you find what you need. They don’t avoid looking at you like at the big chains.
Great Milwaukee selection.

Susan, Robbie, Rick,Kin and Carter are amazing. They all went out of their way to help me. Especially Kin, he did a special favor. But honestly, all of them went out of their way to make it such a great experience. I am done with the other big box store so I can get whatever I need here, they have my business.
They have everything from doors, lumber, tools, patio furniture, and treats.
I WOULD RECOMMEND

Just wanted to thank Jonathan and Tom for going above and beyond to help me with my siding project! You are my heroes!!! I was trying to get (one) 16' piece of shiplap siding to repair the damage caused by an invasive tree. (I drive a Rav4, and unfortunately don't own a truck). They actually dropped it off for me while making another delivery!!! I was blessed beyond words!!! Great guys and absolutely wonderful to work with!!! A pleasure doing business with th
em and this company!!! THANK YOU!!!

Horrible customer service with zero follow-up and incompetent, unprofessional behavior, particularly if you are unfortunate to get sales rep Maison Murch. She may respond initially to inquiries but, no matter how polite and patient you are, she eventually fails to follow up, dodges emails and phone calls, hanging up on you or even to the point of faking an accent to suddenly pretend it isn't her on the phone, despite having already identified herself as such. Such bizarre game-playing behavior has no place in a professional business. Management is also unresponsive to complaints. Good luck if you have any questions or issues whatsoever. Don't waste your time or money.

No longer open to the public. The retail location has moved to the alliance building behind maverick gas station on Glasford hill road pv

I've been here several times and they rarely have the parts I need, their hours of operation are atrocious but I kept trying to give them a chance to support a newer business. I bought 2 brass fittings here yesterday, threw away the receipt thinking I had what I needed. Figured out it didn't fit so I went back today to exchange for the right brass fittings and they told me no exchange without a receipt. So I'm out a few bucks on some brass fittings that I don't need and I'm heading to Home Depot that will exchange anything for store credit. This place is not worth the wasted time or weird exchange policies, I won't be back.

Fairly new window screen (3 yrs) needed rescreening as screen had separated from frame due to poor splining. Tear was about 6” long. Brought screen in, was quoted $26 for repair & work was done in about 4 hrs. Price was fair, service was outstanding (thank you Harley) and work was completed much faster than quoted. What more could a customer ask for?!? This is my second positive experience with Alliance Home Improvement within the past month. Previously I visited the store to buy screws needed for mounting cabinets in laundry room. The selection was huge & frankly intimidating BUT thankfully Jerry was there & found all the sizes & types I needed with ease. Thank you Jerry!
While I’m not a huge fan of how the store has been recently reconfigured, I do appreciate the GREAT customer service I’ve recently received & also appreciate the store’s proximity to my home.

I did take my screen to another business before going to Alliance Home Center and was sadly treated with disrespect and was quoted an insulting price. Will never shop there again but that experience made me appreciate Alliance Home Center even more. Thank you.

I've spent alot here. I'm a contractor and the location seemed convenient enough, but the service just isn't there and the return policy isn't flexible enough, especially considering that everything is way overpriced and they did away with using phone numbers to store my purchase history. I recommend driving another 4 minutes to PV home depot

Tell us you're not interested in selling anything without telling us you're not interested in selling anything.
I was happy when Alliance opened, offering another local supplier of home improvement and repair parts, including a lot of items not found in other stores in the area.
Unfortunately Alliance seems to have decided selling is overrated. They gutted half the store and discontinued those unique items in favor of overpriced fluff and a lot of empty space.
Since our local Ace Hardware recently did the same I was forced to visit Alliance for some things I needed. I only found one that wasn't quite the right size but likely would have worked, but that "no sale" philosophy apparently exists throughout the staff. There was no one at the register, and I only saw what I thought were two customers leaving the store engaged in conversation. As it turns out one of them was the cashier, but instead of returning to the register after her social break she decided to look busy by "cleaning" one of the other register stations.
Needless to say I left with my hands as empty as the store and will not be returning.
It's a sad state when Lowes and Home Depot are the best choices for home improvement and repair, and a lot more affordable. $90 for a 6' project board? No thanks.
UPDATE: One year later and they are out of business. What a shock.

The people at Alliance are wonderful, unlike home depot where you can wonder the aisles for hours with out any help, you can't get halfway thru the store before you've encountered 3 or 4 Alliance employees asking how they can help you!
What a refreshing business model, and no self checkout, gotta love that!

Really like this place compared to Lowe's and Home Depot. Prices are a bit higher but selections (especially tools) are better. Hope they have more customers since Builder's Source bought them. Like most places, they are short of help.

The staff at this place is amazing!!! We recently ordered some tools from them and the process was very simple. They have a wonderful selection of almost anything you need to be able to repair, build, or decorate your home. They also have great fence products to secure your investments and they offer installation of their materials by Davis fence company. We just can not say enough good about this store and their staff

Terrific staff, very helpful, a little pricey, but for me very convienant. My only criticism is that they close very early forcing me to drive further if I need something after 6pm.

Walked in here for the first time today - and I will definitely be back! Great staff, good selection, a lot of variety, and super clean - and, lots of decor stuff that I wasn't expecting.

If you're looking for a very specific / obscure item, you might not find it here, but it looks to me that most everything that you might need for home improvement is probably here.

Update:
Still a great store - but if you wander towards decor and such be warned it's dangerous... Such cute stuff! Lol. I can never resist.

Also, their "build a pergola in an hour" is amazing! Can't wait to put one up at our new house this summer.

We Answer Frequently Asked Questions
Pricing questions
1. What is the average roof replacement cost for a residential home?
+-

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.

2. How much does it usually cost to replace the roof of a commercial building?

The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.

3. What factors affect the overall roof repair cost?
+-

Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.

4. What is the typical roof leak repair cost, and how is it calculated?

Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
