Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

We built a house on the coast. I wanted to buy locally as much as possible. Windows and doors were purchased through thus company. After a couple of years, the door locks stopped working on our door locks stopped working.

We called and went in person many times. Dave promised time and time again to get back to us. Finally after SIX months of trying to get an answer or return call, Dave tells us that we need to replace the entire door that is nearly new! They cant fix or replace just the locking mechanism!

We finally had a local handyman take a look at it. Took him 20 minutes to fix.

Same with our windows. The mechanism was stripped. Dave was of zero help.

Handyman got the item number off the part. I ordered the part and got it replaced.

Dave needs to get out if the customer service industry .

I get all my trex decking and facia from here. Plus a Lotta other things too. They deliver for a very reasonable price, or free. Knowledgeable staff.

I'm pretty much always super pleased with the help I get from the people at Builders they are always patient with me even when I not sure what the afficial names for things are and I've been doing this for 40 plus years I thank you guys for the help

Okay, I want to like this place but the staff at the main desk continue to disappoint. I've stood several times completely alone at the front desk waiting to be checked out for minutes at a time. The employees visually lack motivation or seem uncaring of providing service. Atleast at home depot I'm treated like they appreciate my patronage.
And a year later nothing has changed. I went in to get a chalk line and there I was. Standing at the front desk being ignored while employees talk about the weekend they had. And what do I get when I do get an employee to check me out? I get attitude for them having to do their job. No thanks for stopping in. No see ya next time.
So now I'm saying do not buy from here. There are othere stores that treat you with respect when you go there. This lumber yard is not one of them.
Builders first source has dropped the ball on customer service. Hopefully they can fix this. It's obviously a continuous issue. Management needs to step up and do something.

As a carpenter.. and building...
These guy's get what is needed in timely matter and sales team know there stuff.. the counter people are a amazing..
Helpful and gets you out the door and back on the job site..
As well they have great delivery team...

I needed solid information on rerouting my home. They addresses my questions and provided me with confidence on how to proceed, material information and Costs. . It was a valuable visit.

Best prices with in 50 miles. No a big selection on tools but all the roofing and lumber you need. Great customer service too.

For those going north on 101 and going through Seaside, if you're planning to get basic or advanced general construction materials, stop here instead of facing the traffic going through Seaside. This place carries a good selection of the supplies and materials a builder needs. Fast friendly and knowledgeable staff make this a joy to visit.
