Bruin Remodeling Group

I went through Bruin to do a mass save insulation project. Due to changes in mass save Bruin was soon to no longer be an approved contractor. Bruin had plenty of time to complete the work before that became the case but ended up cancelling the project and leaving components half finished. The work they did do was good but they did not take responsibility and complete the project they started. This left me to have to find someone else to finish. I would not recommend using them from my experience.

Our neighbor recommended Bruin. We replaced everything including doors except for two windows. We are satisfied with the job. Good communication, good follow-up service, and always on time. Alex's crew was amazing. We will use them again in the future.

Bruin came out to install a new entry door for us. When they did the quote they had the best price, and gave the best presentation without spending hours going over the information and making the hard sell. I was contacted several times, and kept up to date on the installation date which was sooner than expected. On the day of the install the team arrived on time, worked quickly taking only 4 hours to remove the old door, and storm door, build the new framework again because the old was rotted, and then install our beautiful new door. They cleaned up inside and outside before they left too. I’d definitely recommend them if you need a new door!

We are very happy with the purchase process and installation of our windows and storm door by Bruin. From the start, with the sales rep Peter and his no pressure and honest salesmanship. And the installation staff, Joe and Miles. Very professional and helpful throughout the removal and installation process.

The guys were great! They came out and took care of insulating my home and were efficient and communicated wonderfully. I have a 4 week old baby and a barky dog and both loved the guys! A solid 5 stars for Bruin Remodeling! Bruin performed insulation and air sealing work in our home in March 2025 under the MassSave program. They took care of all of the permitting and end-of-project inspection scheduling and kept in touch with us throughout the project. We were very pleased with both the quality of the work they did and the thorough job they did in cleaning up afterward. In addition, they saved us almost $150 out of a $1,200 job by NOT doing some of the scoped work when the blower door test showed that it wasn’t necessary.

I am very happy with my experience with Bruin for replacing the front door! They were great throughout the process from the quote to design to contract to install. Love the look and quality of the door. I would recommend them for a front door replacement!

Bruin came to add some insulation above our garage - the workers were polite and professional and did a great job with cleanup afterwards! There had been a huge mess from a hose breaking open but they cleaned it up so well I wouldn’t have known about it had I not seen it myself. I also appreciated the easy contact with and updates from the office. We would definitely use Bruin again for any improvement/remodeling needs.

Bruin just did a comprehensive insulation and weatherproofing on my home. My home was warmer when they left and my heat barely comes on like it used to. I wish I had this done before the start of winter but it is certainly going to save me money from now on. They were professional and courteous, showed up at 8AM and finished by 4PM. Bruin was great to work with. We had an irregularly sized window that needed to be replaced and a couple of companies we contacted could not even work with that size. The window they installed is perfect. At the same time we decided to replace the rest of the windows. They all look amazing and came very quickly especially considering the special order window. The workers were great and put up with our pets (and treated them well) and us. They worked quickly and the end result is beautiful, well-sealed windows. We are very happy with their work.

Every person I dealt with was extremely knowledgeable and customer focused - from those in the office, to those on the crew. They clearly described the work needed to be done, the timing and answered my questions. They showed up on time, finished a bit earlier than they said, and left it cleaner than it was before!

Recently had Bruin install insulation to our attic ducts and add door weatherstrips for our doors very pleased with work our contractor Adi arrived on time as scheduled and explained the details of what he was going to do and after completing the project he took the time to answer any questions we had We are very pleased how Adi took the time to lay tarps down to protect our floor and carpet and cleaned up after he was done not all contractors are as meticulous as Bruin

Just had a new sliding door installed and I am so happy that I used Bruin. It started with Peter explaining all my options and receiving a very competitive quote. Then a gentleman came and took the measurements and the door was delivered sooner than the estimated time. The installers were very professional and after they finished they made sure I was happy with my door and did a great job cleaning up. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or use Bruin again.

The team from Bruin arrived exactly at the scheduled time (8:15). They briefed us on the work they would be doing - adding insulation and boxing in our recessed lights in the attic.
They were extremely neat and professional, and did a fantastic job.

Bruin recently came to do an insulation project. Not only were they on time and protective of our flooring and surrounding spaces, but they also took the time to clean up without a trace when they were done! I would definitely recommend them!

Bruin was contracted to do our MassSave upgrades. The guys that showed up were excellent and did all required work. The only hiccup was that I was not informed that it would be a 2 day project, so that took a little reworking of my schedule, but overall was not a huge deal. The guys were efficient and cleaned up the basement and attic where the work was done. Very happy with them.

Hired Bruin remodeling group for insulating my house. Not too many Mass Save partner does remove wood plank on the attic for insulation, but they are one of the a few. Not only They did a fantastic job, but also finished my whole house within a week. The house feels much warmer now.

All staff, from the initial consultation to scheduling with the office to the actual work team, were friendly and professional. They involved my wife and I in every aspect of the process, especially when choosing the best windows and doors and ensuring we approved of any construction decisions. Furthermore, the work crew inquired and then masterfully completed a seamless blending of the windows with our downward sloping frame (the house is rather old). Overall, it looks great and we can’t wait to spend quality time in the new and improved sun room.

He was professional and honest and gave me some good suggestions for the platform that I needed to install the insulation. His crew were professional and polite. There are a million companies to choose from to do the work, and a family member who owns a construction company actually recommended Bruin to us because they also use them in their work. Bruin did great work for us - replacing an enclosed porch sliding door and replacing a door from the porch to deck. Very diligent and professional -- and when we reported a problem with 1 of the doors they were quick to fix. Highly recommend them.

We had Bruin replace a lot of sliding windows likely from the 1960s or 70s. They were quick, efficient, and reasonably priced. They were great at communicating with us and answering questions. I highly recommend Bruin.

We had 2 exterior garage doors installed and a bulkhead door. I couldn't be happier with the quality of work. The two gentlemen were amazing from the time they arrived until the left. They showed up on time and left no trails when they left. Except for the new doors, you'd never know they were here. The truck never left the yard and I don't even think they took a break. The quote process was super easy, and because I financed part of it, they were extremely patient and explained the whole thing to me before I committed. The quote process was around the holidays so I was able to set my own installstion schedule, and they were more than happy to accommodate me so I could get through Christmas without a financial worry. We were challenged to replace one garage window that was deteriorating without compromising the visual appeal relative to the remaining windows. Between sales and the install manager, we agreed on a solution to replace 3 garage windows as replacement windows instead of one without it becoming cost prohibitive. I really appreciate their attention to detail in creative problem solving to come up with a solution we are very happy with! A couple of weeks later they came out to do some air sealing in our attic per MassSave recommendations and again went above & beyond to educate us about additional work that would benefit us to discuss with MassSave. It has been nothing but a positive experience working with Bruin Remodeling.

We recently had Bruin replace two large windows and install a new sliding glass door. Everything about the experience was excellent. Each of our contacts with Bruin, from the initial estimate, to the detailed measurements, the scheduling and the actual installation, was handled efficiently and professionally. The installation team did a great job, and completed the work in less than a full day even though they were working under very cold conditions. We are very pleased with the quality of the windows and door and look forward to many years of satisfactory service from them.

We had a few windows replaced in our house with Bruin. Great experience all the way from the initial estimate visit to the post install inspection schedule. The sales person was direct and straightforward which is pleasantly different from the other sales we saw shopping around. The people working on site were very professional. They answered all my questions with great depth. The new windows look great and just successfully withstood a harsh test of a rain storm. We also had an unexpected rotten wall that was under and around one of the replaced windows. The work to fix it, was quickly estimated, scheduled and fixed. What's more important is that they found and fixed the root cause (a leak in the wall siding) that was actually causing the issue. I highly recommend Bruin and will definitely use them for house projects in the future.

P.S Couple more windows replaced again very good job and I am very satisfied with the result.

I had 22 windows replaced in my 120 year old condo and they did an excellent job, it looks wonderful. A friend, who is an experienced window installer, agreed it was a good job.
They also repaired water damage and other issues found during the installation around the frames and ensured the issues would not occur again. The work was expected to take 2 days but ended up taking 4 days due to issues of working with a 120 year old building and this did not cost me any extra money.

The installation crew was friendly and answered all of my questions. They made sure to keep everything clean as well.

I will happily recommend them to friends and if I ever need windows again I will be sure they are the first people I call.

UPDATE April 8, 2025: used them for the 3rd floor condo and all of the above is still the same, they are awesome!
