We had a new roof installed by Golden Group last week. We are delighted with our new roof, and we were very pleased with how well Golden Group managed the entire process, and continuously kept us informed each step of the way. I want to give two special shout-outs: 1) To Mikel Kota, the sales representative we primarily dealt with. He is a complete professional and very knowledgable on all technical aspects of roofing. There was never any "hard sell" and sales pressure -- just very good professional advice. I gathered 4 quotes for my new roof. He was the only sales rep who asked to go into my attic in order to inspect the underlying plywood sheeting. We went up there together. He spotted 4 panels that had water damage and one was wet and ready to start dripping water into the room below. He told me that he would include the cost of 4 new panels into the quote. He also advised me that once the roof was stripped, they may find more panels needing replacement (given that the house is 40 years old) and he quoted me a reasonable price for that. Indeed, during the stripping process, the roofers found 5 more damaged panels and I readily agreed to have them replaced. When Mikel came on site during the roofing process, he made sure to show me these panels and why they needed replacement (they had water damage too or were badly cracked or missing corners. One other tool that Mikel had (that the others did not) was a drone to photograph the roof during his initial visit. With that, we were able to see that the chimney cricket had badly deteriorated and needed rebuilding. That wasn't visible from the ground at all. Mikel kept in contact continuously, through the permitting process and the scheduling of the actual roofing, and he came on site a couple of times during the roofing day to make sure that I was happy with everything. And a few days after the roof installation, he visited again to ensure my satisfaction and to take photographs again of the roof to make sure that everything was done properly. Mikel is an outstanding young man and he was a pleasure to work with. 2) To Luiggi Campoverde. Luiggi was the site supervisor the day my new roof was installed. He arrived early and we did a walk around as he explained step-by-step everything that would happen. He made sure that enormous tarps were first installed on the front and back of my house angled away from the base of the house so that the stripped material would slide away from the house and not damage any of my foundation shrubs. I greatly appreciated that. Over the course of the day, he would come to my door to inform me of how the process was going, and how many hours were left before they finished the job. Upon completion of the new roof later that afternoon, Luiggi and his crew did an excellent job of the cleanup. I couldn't have been any happier with that aspect of the entire job. Luiggi is a true professional as well. In every aspect, Golden Group Roofing did a superlative job with installing my new roof. The price was fair (and about the same as the other quotes), and I know that I got my money's worth. More importantly, I have peace of mind that my beautiful new roof was installed correctly by an experienced and expert team of roofing professionals. I strongly recommend them for all of your roofing needs. And if I ever go solar, Golden Group will be the company that I use.

Golden Group did an excellent job installing our new skylights. Mikel was especially helpful—he answered all our questions, offered fair pricing, and was very friendly throughout. The replacement process only took a few hours, and we’re really happy with the results.

We had our roof done a couple of months ago after having bought our new house this past summer (which we later discovered had a leak). I wanted to wait until a few heavy rain storms came before writing a review, and here we are!

The roof is still looking shiny and new. The old leak is no longer leaking, and they even had some guys come to seal up some old and cracking mortar in our brick chimney (something that was out of scope of their job, but they did anyway!)

Would 100% recommend these guys. I was hesitant to believe it at first because of the literally flawless five-star reviews here, but they really do deserve it.

I was extremely impressed that they had over 100 reviews in Angi, and every single one was five star. I was even more impressed when John came to our house, inspected our roof, generated a complete proposal within an hour, and then explained their process. We canceled estimating visits from other roofers and chose Golden Group.
They promptly scheduled a date, showed up on time, and finished in less than a day and a half. Everything was extremely professional, and I was especially reassured to see they had one employee called the "safety officer" who supervised the work on our steeply pitched roof. After obtaining five estimates, I decided to choose Golden Group roofing for my project. Although the quote came in second highest, I had a very good gut feeling to go with John and his company. He clearly has a stake in his company, is very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. What stands out is his responsiveness, communication skills, honesty, and timeliness. Every time he promised me something (e.g providing certificates of insurance), he delivered immediately (via email). Another example is when John said he'd stop by at 2:00 PM one afternoon with samples, he actually showed up on time. John estimated the project could take up to three days, but they were able to complete it in under two full days and left the property in very clean condition. Golden Group replaced our roof back a few months ago in the fall. They did a great job. I was very impressed at how quickly and efficiently they worked, the whole job getting finished in two days. I should point out that replacing a roof can get a bit chaotic, and little issues can occur, but Golden Group was on top of everything. We had issues with a skylight that needed replacing, and there were some issues because the design was old and the measurements were non-standard. GG made two follow-up visits to make sure everything was completed according to plan.

In addition, one of our window panes broke due to an errant shingle falling. Again, non-traditional size which made it difficult to conveniently replace. However, GG stayed on top of it and found someone very quickly to replace it.

We love how the new roof looks. GG did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone.

My recent experience with Golden Group Roofing was exceptional. My initial meeting was with Xavier, who came to my home at a pre arranged time to assess the situation with my roof.I was impressed with his professional demeanor and his willingness to spend as much time as needed to explain the roof replacement process and assist me in choosing the correct shingle for my home. I decided to consider replacing my gutters as well, and Xavier prepared two very detailed estimates-one for the roofing alone and one for both the roof and the gutters. Luigi, Lewis, and Dominic and their team did a great job in replacing my roof and I am exceedingly pleased with the result. It looks great. Even though they encountered an unexpected and complicating issue due to the construction of my house, they solved the problem it presented and still finished in one day, albeit a very long day. They kept me informed each step of the way, from planning (I received a real education on roofs from Dominic), set up, execution of the work, and clean up. I appreciated the attention Lewis and team paid to detail in placement of the shingles on the edges of the roof and around the chimney and skylight. It was really a nice job. And special kudos to the ladies who were tasked with the cleanup. Cleanup was particularly challenging due to the trouble caused by the unexpected challenges and they did a spectacular job. We are very pleased with our experience with Golden Group. The website to request an estimate was easy to use and we booked our appointment right away. Our interaction with Xavier was great. WE SELECTED GOLDEN GROUP AS OUR PREFERRED CONTRACTOR after a few experiences with other roofing companies in the area. One was delayed and couldn't do the roof immediately and instead provided a temporary patch, another replaced a part of the roof and did a so-so job on the repair. Then we met Golden Group's Xavier and he walked us through what we would need to do and the options and pricing. We agreed on a complete roof replacement and installation of new skylights and once the contract was signed, within a relatively short time they called and said they could install the roof. Their team came, and in three days had the job complete and cleaned up. We walked around the house and reviewed the finished project and they answered all my questions. In addition, I asked for some help and guidance on another little project and they were most gracious and helped out with that as well, thanks Xavier and Greta. I was very pleased with the high quality work from Golden Group Construction Corporation. The staff was well organized and attentive. The office personnel made preparation and finalization of the contract a very smooth process. The available hardcopy and digital resources made choosing the roof shingles' style and color pleasant. Delivery of the required material to the site was seamless and organized. During the roof replacement, the construction team was very focus, dedicated, professional, and showed great attention to detail. The replacement took two days, one day to remove the prior shingles and underlayment and the next to install the new underlayment (leak barrier shield membrane and synthetic underlayment), new pipe flanges, flashing and shingles. During the removal process, tarps were placed around the house to ensure all removed material was contained. After the installation, the construction crew reviewed for any stray material and ensured proper cleanup. From the initial contract to final follow walk through the members of Golden Group Construction did an excellent job. My roof was installed during the summer of Covid-19. Initially contacted Golden Group because of their BBB rating & being a woman-owned business. The inspection & estimate were done contactless with a company representative and I on the phone while he was in my yard. Samples were dropped at my front door, a written estimate was emailed, phone explanation followed, and scanned contract was signed and emailed. Dumpster & supplies arrived the day before the installation, and crew arrived on time, finished early, and cleaned the whole yard up. I could see the teamwork in action from inside - men and women - all working hard! Final payment was made over the phone with no extra costs. If you need a roof put on now and are hesitating because of Covid restrictions, rest assured this company takes it seriously and and makes it as easy as you can imagine!

I knew I needed major roof work done and I was dreading it because I didn't know any good roofers, finding quality contractors is a shot in the dark, and having any kind of home repairs done in the time of Covid is stressful to say the least.

I had a couple of estimates given by some people which seemed pretty excessive. After doing some research online, Golden Group seemed to have very good reviews and their website was impressive (most companies in this field seem to neglect that part).

John Campoverde responded immediately to my emails, came promptly to do a site visit (wearing a mask, thank you John!), and gave a reasonable estimate and was really responsive and thoughtful to my questions and concerns. He guided me through financing options, helped me with questions on the contract, and was very responsive when it came time to scheduling the work (which was done very well and with good materials). He was also super responsive on the day of the work and gave me regular status updates by phone.

I'm incredibly thankful to Golden Group. Any anxiety I had felt about the process was completely alleviated. And the work was done well, on time, and without fuss. Many thanks!

I hired Golden Group to install the new roof of my house. I chose them because of their reasonable price, good warranty, great reviews and references, and being local. They are very professional and communicative. They wrote down each step of the project with the material they would use and explained everything to me. The team worked very hard and were very friendly and patient. It took them two days to finish the whole roof. After a long day of work in 98F degree weather, some of them came back at 10pm to cover part of the roof when they saw an unexpected, low probability rain in the forecast... I am very pleased with their work and have already recommended them to my friends who need a new roof.

This past weekend,, New England just dealt with Tropical Storm Isiasaisa.... ((How ever you spell it!)). And not a single shingle blown off,,,. not a single sign of a leak in my tenants apartment.

My roof was just installed by them about two weeks ago. The folks are very good to work with and provided great values. I would highly recommend them for their work.

One of my friend recommended Golden Roof to me, they did my West Roxbury roof on June, 2020.
They did a good job, respond and answer my questions quickly. They even did the extra job to paint my chimney! After the installation, they thoroughly clean site. Freddy and Denny are great persons to work with, they handled the issues very professionally and the price is reasonable.

Etjon and Golden Group worked on my roof ridge cap shingle replacement. First of all, the cost of the job was very good compared to several other companies.

This was the second roofing project I have entrusted to the Golden Group. Once, again, I have absolutely no regrets; Just total satisfaction with the quality of workmanship, professionalism and overall value provided by their work site and office teams. If you need a new roof, you can't go wrong with this company !!!!

A great roof at a great price and the whole thing was done in one day and left my yard clean as a whistle. Great people, great service, excellent communication throughout.

My wife and I used Golden Group to replace the roof on our home as well as our detached garage. We started working with Xavier and Freddy back in February. They were attentive and answered all of our questions. We have found them to be honest, professional, and responsive. They also do siding and although ours appears to be in good shape, they will be our first call should we need any service.

They performed a professional repair / replacement of chimney flashing.
The not so good item was the area that had to be removed to access the old flashing is not neat.

We had a new roof as well as solar panels installed. Company came out to the house and fixed our leak prior to putting on the roof so we would not sustain any more damage. Crew worked quickly and neatly. We have not had any issues with nails in our yard which I know can be a problem. The people are fantastic we thoroughly enjoyed working with all of them. Roof looks great. We are thrilled that we are not just consuming power.

I highly recommend golden group roofing. From the very beginning of receiving a bid with the roof and gutters proposal to the completion of the project, working with the members of Golden Group was seamless. What I was most impressed with throughout the entire process was Golden Group's communication. After reviewing the proposal, I had a few questions which were quickly answered, and I was constantly in the loop on the status of the City permit. The morning of our installation, the guys showed up promptly and got straight to work! Once the shingles were removed, some wood rot was discovered. The foreman spoke to me right away to discuss the unknown damage and how they were going to fix it as well as prevent it from happening in the future. Our home looks lovely now, and I'm happy we choose Golden Group Roofing for our new roof and gutters!

Freddy and team replaced our roof this past week. The job was done quickly and professionally and they communicated well throughout the process. The yard was left spotlessly clean (OK, I did find one nail when mowing - but that's out of thousands!). The morning after the roofing job I heard a dripping in the chimney and sure enough found a leak. They had not worked on the chimney itself, but I guess all the banging and vibration opened up the flashing anyhow. I called and they were out within 2 hours to fix it. Great work and highly recommended.

They did a fantastic job on my roof. And every contact with Freddy or Greta was helpful, informative and professional. We had to push back the install multiple times because of other work being done and they were beyond understanding. When it came time to do the roof they made sure there was enough help to get it done in one day. Came home to a great looking new roof on our house and garage. I've been up there a few times since and am always impressed with the quality. The responsiveness and and help from Greta didn't end with the completed work. Over a year later I needed information about the install and it was emailed over immediately. Quality work, professional and always there to answer the phone. Definitely contractors you want to work with when it comes to something as important as a roof. Thanks again!

My experience with Golden Group was very good. I would recommend them very highly. I had two concerns when they had finished and they came back and took care of them. I want to thank them all for a job well done.

I hired Golden Group Construction after getting three different quotes. Although I was a little hesitant because of how reasonable their pricing was in comparison to the others... but their company did not disappoint! Not only did they start the job quickly, they completed the work in only two days! I had my old roof taken off, wood slabs replaced, a new roof installed with brand new gutters. In addition, I asked for additional construction work; removing my old foyer in the back. Not once can I complain, they were professional, quick and I have not had issues with roof leaks ever since they came. I am very pleased with their craftsmanship and have already informed my neighbors on how amazing they were!

My chimney was leaking inside. A very competent worker came out and spent hours repairing the flashing, the lining under it, and shingles that were not correctly placed. He arrived early in the morning, left late at night, and left the area immaculate. I will always call on Golden Group whenever I have an issue with my roof. Excellent workmanship and professionalism, very transparent with various price options. No compromise on quality, super reliable. Just after the work was done, when it rained, they contacted me to see if there were any leaks. Sent pre and post completion photos for my records. Ten-out-of-ten I would use them again if needed and ten-out-of-ten I would recommend them to my friends!

Owners Freddy and Greta along with their site team displayed top notch professionalism and flexibility while working with our other contractors. They take pride in their work and it is clear they want customer satisfaction. They were able to fit us in within a narrow window of good (winter) weather and complete the work within a few days. The roof looks terrific and their cleanup was great too. I would hire these guys for all my contracting needs if they did other contract work. They made the experience easy and painless.

Our experience with Golden Group was excellent. I was very impressed with both their work and their customer service. It was refreshing to be able to communicate effectively via email and text message. Every email and text was answered quickly and with clear information. The two managers we worked directly, Greta and Freddy, were friendly and courteous at each stage of the project. They made us feel like our project was always at the top of their priorities list. I really liked getting a very thorough roof evaluation with photos and explanation. It was also comforting to know they used a highly reputable dealer (GAF) for supplies and materials, ensuring we'd have a solid warranty. I'd strongly recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof built properly.

With such an expensive cost to spend on a roof, you bet I did my research & called around for estimates. Right from the start, I was so impressed with Golden Group Roofing as their team answered my questions & made my apmt, then showed-up on time, gave us thorough information on their products they use, warranty, the process from start to finish, detailed break-down of total cost, and gave us separate estimates for gutters as well. The materials showed up on time, as well as the crew, & cleaned-up entirely. There were no unexpected added pricing that I had to deal with at the end & the warranty certificate was mailed shortly after installation. I waited on giving my review because I wanted to make sure there were no leaks, now that we’ve past the fall rainy season & 2 snow storms, I can solidly say that I would 100% recommend Golden Group Roofing.
Price wise, they are comparable, so you’re left with at the end of the day with choosing who did you feel was the most professional & genuine- and you will feel comfortable with your decision to go with them. Fantastic company to hire!

We were looking for a roofing contractor to redo the whole roof. We asked for 3-4 quotes and one was from Golden Group( Freddie and Greta). We had a great feeling since day one...from a great price to a very professional walk thru with Freddie we knew we will make a good decision. We chose GG because Freddie's service was great. We had samples in no time, great customer service every time we called and all the questions were answered in a very professional way. As a homeowner, I am glad to write a few words for Golden Group Roofing for our roof replacement project. We made requests for estimates to several contractors, some advertised on TV, some advertised on Radio and some on papers. Those estimates differed so much made us so difficult to make choice. Finally, we utilized internet tool and found Golden Group Roofing. Their estimate looks very realistic and also laid out all job details. Communication with them went very well and they were be patient to answer all questions. Materials were delivered in time and job preparation conducted as promised. Daily job performed and wrapped up professionally. Most important is job quality. We are very much satisfied with their job since they paid attention to all details and quality. All crew member interacted with us very nicely and friendly. Job completed as scheduled. From finish to start extremely professional. I had some big leaks from my vents on my roof. Greta promptly sent Freddy our to evaluate the situation and sent out his technician to repair all the vents on my roof from leaking. We recently used Golden Group Roofing to replace our 28-year-old roof. Right from the start they were great! Freddie was extremely professional and knowledgeable and gave us a great quote. The office staff: Greta and Ximena were terrific and extremely responsive.

The day of the roof installation, the crew arrived right on time and got to work immediately. Within the first half hour they were on the roof getting rid of the old shingles. They did a terrific job of prepping, covering all of our bushes, deck, etc. The crew members clearly were well trained, worked well together, and were very efficient and well coordinated. Each employee was hard working, thorough, and professional. Our whole job was done in just two days and they left the outside looking like they hadn’t even been there!

I am a person who did a lot of reading of reviews and had multiple quotes done ahead of this project. I was impressed by how patient Greta and team were with my questions and clarifications in the contract. They made sure we were comfortable with the plan and we appreciated this up front. The work was done to strip and lay down the roof in about 2 days. The gutters took a little longer to be done since they were backordered (large 6”). The price was competitive, communication was great (and was awesome to be able to email) the work was done with good quality and we are super happy with the results. We had a few minor follow ups to finish the gutter and they sent people out right away and treated the finishing of the job with care. I highly recommend Golden.

High Class! Every bit of communication before, during and after our roof was replaced was great! Roof crew arrived early and kept us updated on the process throughout the day - and we were impressed with the clean up too (roof construction is MESSY gig).

Freddie and Greta were very prompt in their response and planning the job. Weather didn't cooperate but they were able to get the job done before the rain came.

6 years ago golden group did our roof at our old house it came out amazing. Recently they have done the roof on our new house, and it came out amazing again. Greta and Freddy are amazing people that truly care about the work. I'm glad to have met them and hired them to do both of my roofs. Highly recommended.
