I received an immediate response to my inquiry for the small job I needed done. John came out the next day and was very pleasant. He unfortunately wasn't able to help us with the small repair but discovered a more concerning issue with a section of the siding near the top of the roof. It was loose and was moving when the wind blew and was subject to falling off the house. We had not noticed it and were grateful that John spotted it. He fixed it quickly a few days later and we were very satisfied with the job. I would recommend Diamond Construction for your home projects.

We've used Diamond for various odds and ends projects at our home the last few years. Most recently the repair of a garage to basement door/door frame. They were timely in their communications and did a great job for the price. We intend to use them again!

We were prepping a house for sale and had a tight timeline, also needed to have some woodpecker damage/wood rot repaired. We contacted via Angie list - they were prompt with estimate, contract, timing, and delievered excellent work, on budget, and ahead of schedule

We contracted with Diamond to have our siding redone. The house had old cedar shakes and we had a lot of problems with insects and drafts. Diamond was clear with their contracts and communicative about the work. We asked for an alteration and the office was able to change the plan same-day. All the workers were nice and the office staff kept us informed. We will be happy to use Diamond Construction again for our future projects.

When a neighbor was having roofing work done by Diamond, we asked if they could provide us with a quote to reroof our home. After inspecting the roof, John Malo, the Owner, determined our roof had significant wind damage that resulted in missing and damaged shingles. We noticed several "water stains" in our upstairs that needed to be repaired/replaced due to the water damage. John's company worked with our insurance company to get us a new roof and repair any interior damage. The crew was efficient and pleasant and what I thought would take 2-3 days to remove and replace the roof, ended up only taking a day and a half. The crew cleaned every bit of debris from our yard and was very careful not to damage any plants we had around the perimeter of our home. They were then scheduled to do the interior work and I was amazed at how fast it was completed. We have also asked that they give us quotes on replacing our gutters and doing work on our back deck. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to renovate, remodel, etc.

We got one of those emails that are going around - our insurance company wouldn't renew our homeowners insurance unless we had some tree work done and replaced our roof. We got several quotes and selected Diamond Construction, and I am quite pleased that we did. Their price was qa bit lower than average, but what sold us was the presentation. John Malo did an amazing job presenting the work clearly and concisely, answering all of our questions in a straightforward and confident manner. Communication seems to be one of the company's strong points all the way around. They came when they said they would, did exactly as they promised, and cleaned up meticulously afterwards. We had to have a follow-on visit to do the gutter guards (they didn't have enough material for the guards when they put in the new gutters) but that was the only hiccup. All around, and excellent and satisfying experience.

We decided to redo our very old bathroom after saving for many years. We went with Diamond because they did our roof and we liked them they are also a Latino company and that was a bonus for me. We signed the contract for them to start the second week of March in 2022. They did not contact us or start until the last week of June. They came in and demolished the bathroom and got it ready. We then waited another few weeks for them to start. Everything went well with the tile guy who was subcontracted and that is the best part of the work. They then proceeded to put in a plastic tub that has completely separated from the floor. They also put a vent in that was not attached to go outside. The paint job was done wrong and they had to redo it because they reversed the colors I wanted, there were also many whitespots and spots of dark colors on the light colors also some paint spilled on to the tiles. The faucet in the tub is loose and the toilet is also loose. It felt as though this company could give us subpar work because we live in Mattapan and maybe they thought we were not as rich as there other clients. The bathroom cost us 15,000 which sounds like a decent price but in the end our bathroom needed work from us to retouch the paint and install the vent fan properly and also install a mirror vanity that they did not want to buy because it was "too expensive" 700 dollars was too expensive after a botched bath remodel. Very dissapointed with this company. They also finished in the fall. It took them almost 6 months to complete a very small Boston (Mattapan) bathroom. We have videos and photos of this work

I just had my roof done about a week ago. John the owner came by for a quote and all the paperwork and there was no pressure for making a sale, all was explained in an easy manner. The work was very professionally done in a day, and a bit, since there was some wood need to be replaced. They took care of the permits and all the paperwork. I didn't encounter any problem with them--I would recommend John and his staff to anyone who needs their roof done professional with a warranty;)

Don't waste your time.

I scheduled a home visit to go over our project and get quotes. They no-showed on two separate occasions with no phone call. The first time, I called them after 30 minutes of waiting and was told that the person coming out had gotten in a car accident. The second time, two weeks later, I called them after 15 minutes of waiting and was told, again, that the person got in a car accident. I responded by saying that's what happened the previous time and it sounded fishy, and they hung up on me. Completely unprofessional and unreliable.

Diamond did a second floor addition to my home in Norwood. They were professional, responsive, fair, easy to work with and their work was high quality. I would definitely recommend them!

I hired Diamond Construction to remove and replace some vinyl siding on my home and I had a great experience with them. John explained the process and answered all of my questions ahead of time. The workers were very professional and did a beautiful job. I would not hesitate to call them again in the future. Highly recommend!

We had our decks demolished and rebuilt by another contractor earlier this Summer. Said contractor, in the process, removed significant portions of our vinyl siding and was not able/willing to replace them. I reached out to numerous Boston-area vinyl siding contractors, only to have almost 100% of them tell me the "job was too small" for them to consider. I was becoming concerned that nobody would be willing to replace our siding when I found Diamond Construction. John came out to assess the project and our needs and spent time speaking with us about the scope/execution of the project. We made him aware of our budget, and he was sensitive and responsive to our financial limitations. The work was completed in a professional, workmanlike, timely manner. John and his staff (Erika and the crew) maintained great communication throughout the entire process from the before we even signed the contract all the way through the end of completion. We were extremely pleased with the results of the vinyl siding repair/replacement performed by Diamond and plan to use them again in the future to replace an old bay window in the front of our apartment, as well as our old sliding glass door in back, once our budget permits. We will also recommend Diamond Construction to friends and family. They are consummate professionals who value their relationships with customers and go above and beyond to ensure projects are completed to customers' satisfaction. Thank you!

Unfortunately, I can’t comment on the quality of construction this company provides because their business practices leading up to contracting them were unthinkable.

My husband welcomed John (the CEO) into our home to provide us a quote for redoing our main bathroom as well as our main living area. When he was in our home, John quoted us (verbally) about 23k for redoing the bathroom and a rough estimate of another 20k to redo our main living area. The first quote that came back to us in writing after this initial meeting was 61k. Not only was the first written quote drastically different from what we anticipated, it was vague and lacked detail on what kind of materials they would be providing for the remodel.

We asked John to provide us a new quote with him only providing the labor and the dry wall, and we told him that we would be responsible for purchase and storage of the parts.

When we got the new estimate the quote didn’t change much, so my husband scheduled a time to discuss the cost of labor. My husband started the conversation with the understanding that Diamond Construction needed to make money because business needs to work for both parties. After coming to an agreement, My husband ended that phone call with John, asking if he was happy with the renegotiated numbers, and John indicated he was. John then said he would get back to us with the new paperwork and that the deposit would be due.

One week and a few phone calls/texts go by, and we have yet to get the new quote and paperwork. John tells us he has just been really busy and that his staff is backed up. The paperwork is coming. My husband then received an email from the “office manager” saying Diamond Construction is backing out of the deal because of the increase in cost of parts (something they aren’t providing) and labor.

Obviously this was a shock. We then replied not understanding what changed only to be told that they would not honor his verbal commitment to us.

We believe these are good people, but now we have an unusable garage filled with materials.

John couldn’t make a simple phone call to tell my husband this, and rather relied on his employees to relay a message he couldn’t even have the decency to tell us himself.

This is the second time that I call John and his team to work in our home. Because of the current situation of the pandemic, a lot (I mean, a lot!) of materials are constantly delayed, products arrive damaged and it is a constant headache to do a house project nowadays. I am saying this because timeliness will be an issue if you're looking for a contractor to do things very quickly in your home.

Having said all of that, working with John was very pleasant again. His guys Renato and Dani, as well as all the subcontracted resources were very professional, friendly and timely once things were made available. None of the issues I mentioned above are their fault, and if anything they were very helpful providing alternatives on the fly.

I would without a doubt recommend Diamond to anyone out there!

Diamond Construction replaced the roof at my house, which had been leaking and was damaged. I hired them because they had put siding up on my house several years before. Both are big jobs, which Diamond Construction completed in a timely and professional manner. I particularly appreciate the great communication and responsiveness of Diamond Construction. John and his team always responded immediately to my questions and concerns, and let me know what they were finding. The crew worked quickly and efficiently and did an expert job. I would recommend them for other construction/home improvement projects.

They did a wonderful job with the Roof replacement. They were timely, responsive and within budget. Explained thoroughly the process more than any of the other companies that provided an estimate. When there was a small tear in one of the screens, they immediately came to fix it.

Diamond Construction replaced our roof and did a fantastic job. John Malo explained all the steps they would go through to qualify as a CertainTeed Integrity Roof System, as well as inspecting the underlying wood to see if any of it would need replacing (which it didn't, in our case). The roofing team was very hardworking and meticulous, getting all the small details just right. They cleaned up thoroughly afterward, and the new roof looks beautiful. The price was very competitive with other bids we received. They were an excellent company to work with. We would definitely work with them again, and recommend them highly.

Most of there reviews are fake. They have there friends writing good reviews for them because they don't keep there word. I reached out to this company for a job, they gave me a quote that was 3Xs the price. I got another quote it was less than half of what they want to charge me. They have very poor customer service and they don't keep their word.

John came out and met me and my husband at our house. He was nice and went through a full walk-through of the project we wanted to have him do. He left promising to turn around a quote to us within the next week. It's now been 3 weeks since that meeting and we have followed up.... nothing but silence. Not a great experience.

He told me he would do a job and then changed his mind and said oh I need to charge you an additional $500 per window and I need to up my price to $450. Don’t use this company.

We hired Diamond construction in the fall of 2020 to replace our vinyl siding and roof, and to redo our house deck. We could not be more pleased with the project, as John and the crew stayed on the budget and timeline presented. We're first time homeowners, and we were nervous about taking on home improvements at this scale. Diamond was fair and honest, and very responsive along the process.

Needless to say, everyone in the crew was very professional and the work done on our home is impeccable. We would definitely recommend John and will continue using their services in the future.

John from this company had us sold on his first presentation. John did an excellent job explaining what was going to be done and had all the required documents during his first visit for us to look over before making our decision. Diamond Construction was the second company that gave us an appraisal and we are so glad we used this company. All the people working for this company was professional and showed up right on time. Very Poor Customer Service!

I called about a couple of shingles coming off and was told that it wasn't covered. No problem, I still need you to come out and look at it since you did the work. He agreed to come out but I have heard or seen him at all and he won't return call. They will take your money... but will care less after. I work in Real Estate so getting another roofer is not a problem.

These guys are professionals and I was surprise to see how fast the job was done. Very responsive and cooperative when it comes to customer satisfaction. I had my roof replaced in less than 8 hours and both front and back yards cleaned as it should. Great presentation what the job will consist of. I will recommend them.

Our home had two layers of shingles that needed to be replaced. The skylights also replaced by Diamond constructions. This company is CertainTeed Certified. They also certified by VELUX company makes the skylight.The crew show up on time and went to town. Weather was calling for rain & snow. They work until dusk used lights finish sealing roof. They came back next day finished the clean up. Job well done I would highly recommend these people.

Diamond construction team did an excellent job on our house when they put brand new roof on our house together with many of the roof related accessories. The technical planning and advises that the owner John gave us prior to the project start with extremely helpful and they were very professional and completing the job on time. The quality of work, honesty and hard work by everyone in their team was outstanding and extremely professional. Our house is now not only looking very beautiful from the outside but because of the accessories that we put on our roof the quality of life inside the house has also improved! We needed gutters on the back of our house, John was great to work with, returns calls and keeps appointments. We had a minor issue, but he had it corrected quickly. Will definitely use them again!

I had a nice experience working with diamond construction they came on time and did a professional quality roof job. I needed my whole roof replaced and they were very professional and did an amazing job and cleaning up was great they picked up after themselves very well you would never known work was being done. Big parts of the project were fine, but fine detail work was not good at all. Lots of nails were left all over the yard, which is not good when you have kids and pets. If you don’t care about quality they are fine otherwise I wouldn’t recommend using them for your project.

Diamond General Construction is the company to call when you need any job for your house done right. My roof and gutters looks amazing. They did a great job waterproofing the whole wall under my back deck.

I hired Diamond Construction to replace my roof several years ago. They were fast, responsive, polite and gave a quote that beat all of the competition. They came the day they said they would, did the job in 2-3 days, kept the work site clean and the work came in on budget. I recommend them highly. I would hire them again for other work.

We received bids from 6 different roofing contractors for our new roof. Ciro, from Diamond Construction, the last contractor we met with, sat with me for 45 minutes providing me, in great detail, the work that Diamond would be doing. Going into this, I knew nothing about roofs and what it takes to do the job correctly. I learned a lot before meeting with Ciro and everything he was telling me about the job they proposed to do was exactly what my research told me an excellent roofer would do. I sat there thinking no way could we afford what he was proposing so I cut him short and basically said let's cut to the chase--what will this cost? I was certain that the price would be prohibitive and was shocked when Ciro quoted the figure. I was sold.
Fast forward to the day for work to start. Dumpster arrived on time; the work crew arrived on time and went right to work. The job was completed in 2 days--my roof decking, the wood underneath the shingles, was pretty bad and Ciro had prepared me for that eventuality. The crew cleaned as they went a long with folks on the ground and with a supervisor managing the job.
The very first night after the new roof was up, we had torrential rains with no leaks whatsoever.
I strongly recommend Diamond Construction and already have a few other jobs that I will be contacting Ciro for.

I got several quotes from different roofers before I chose Diamond. John came by himself and gave me a very detailed description on almost everything, from materials they're going choose to the warranties. The price was also the lowest among all quotes. They did a good job overall,. I didn't give the highest rank for quality because some details could have been improved. I noticed the wall siding was not perfect handled, maybe because it was dark at the time when they're about to finish the job.

Roof was replaced; it was done in one day. They crew were very professional and cleaned up after they were done. I am very satisfied with their work.
