I had rotten wood and squirrel damage. Troy did an excellent job with the repair and matching the paint color. He was always pleasant and nice to be around.

Chris came out just a few hours after I called and had Troy on-site the next morning. The repair to my house is perfect. I could not recommend them more for anything you may need. Troy was skilled and professional. His installation is better than new. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to quality.

Professional and 5-Star service from this multi-skilled team. We had a termite damaged area (heart pine flooring, roof framing, etc) repaired and restored, crawlspace insulation and vapor barrier installed, old windows repaired, pocket door repaired, hurricane shutter hinge repaired. All done efficiently, and top quality. Highly recommended!

I began to notice some issues with my home. I had several contractors come and give me quotes to fix my floors but they all wanted to begin the work and then find out the cause. Chris was the only one who was willing to investigate the origin of the issue, and THEN give me an estimate for repairs. I can’t say how appreciative I am to him for locating the issue rather than make repairs only for the problem to return again.

Chris and his team were absolutely amazing. We are relatively new to Charleston and luck led us to Chris and Brothers Builders. He has completed several projects at our home, including a major bathroom renovation. He was extremely thorough, honest, and transparent with all aspects of the projects - from estimating the cost, project start and finish schedules, and anything that came up in between. Chris and his team did an excellent Job on my bathroom renovation. They are very quality minded and pay attention to the details. They communicated with me everyday and let me know what work would be done that day and what was planned for the next day. I am very happy with their work and my new bathroom. I really appreciate the prompt and professional service for two windows being replaced by double pane Pella windows by Brothers Builders and Renovations. Chris was friendly and reasonably priced. I look forward to having him and his crew replace all windows in my townhouse.

Brothers Builders did a big project for our house replacing all of our windows and a good bit of our siding. They did an excellent job. They performed above and beyond all contractors that we have hired in the past. The workers were skilled and adequate supervision was performed throughout the project to ensure that all of the details were being taken care of perfectly. In addition, Brothers Builders negotiated with suppliers to get the best products for the best prices available. And they made sure it was all installed properly.
We could not be happier with the job that Brothers Builders did.

We called Chris Powers at Brothers Builders and Renovation when we had an unplanned emergency. Our master bathroom shower was leaking from the shower pan and onto the kitchen (below). This was a periodic leak which progressively got worse and knew it needed to be fixed. Chris came out right away and he and Troy assessed the problem and was able to start on the job right away. From removing a portion of the kitchen ceiling to having to remove all of the shower walls and floor and toilet, Chris and Trey were “spot on” with the problem. They were friendly, efficient, fair and tidy throughout the process. They were able to finish the project one day sooner than expected! Chris is a strong Christian and very dedicated to his church and family. No one ever wants to have an unplanned renovation in their home, but if we needed his services in the future, I would not hesitate to contact his company.

Our experience with Chris and Brothers Builders exceeded our expectations! Their team helped us with a complete bathroom remodel (moving walls, brand new layout, installation of all features, etc.) and finished the project on time when we were on a tight deadline. Chris was a great communicator and helped keep us in the loop during every step of the process. When I accidently ordered a wrong material, he went out of his way to get what was needed to keep the project on track. We look forward to working with Brothers Builders on future projects!

Brothers Builders did a complete remodel of our home. We purchased a “ fixer upper” right in the climax of the Covid pandemic. Chris Powers and his team worked steadily and accomplished everything in a timely manner. Chris was so helpful and thorough. He guided my wife and I through the process of changing the structure and layout of the house. He was open to our ideas & incorporated them when possible but he also warned us when some ideas had drawbacks.
Since this was an entire remodel , it often involved structural repairs and reconstruction. I remember on one occasion that I just happened by the house and Chris saw that the bathroom subflooring was subpar. He demanded that it all be completely ripped out and be redone. I’m sure many contractors would have “patched up” this and went on. I also appreciate that if an item such as my roof or HVAC was in good shape , he recommended NOT replacing it. Both have held up well for three years now.

Two years ago, I am writing this review now as enough time has passed to ensure the quality of work would hold up through severe rain and hurricanes.

I needed a company who could help me seal and enclose the garage on an elevated home. In addition, the deck was above a portion of the garage. In order to do this right, I needed a roof built under the garage to ensure no water penetrated and the future air conditioned garage would be efficient.

A roof was built, with proper pitch and sealing that ensured any water that came through was emptied outside of the garage. The garage was sealed up using hardy backer, and then insulated. Water proofing was applied to ensure no water infiltration.

The quality of work was great, after 2 years the craftsmanship remains. The employees were pleasant to be around and were open to conversation about progress on the job. The owner was there portions of each day to ensure the employees were doing the job perfectly.

Overall, the job was done exactly as I needed it done, and without any issues a couple of years later. The price for the service was reasonable. Chris and his team were also able to hang a porch swing for my wife and I while they were on site without having to schedule a separate visit.
