Bosscat quoted my seller client $750 to repair 2 inches of a door jamb and to clear a cl100. We shopped around and thank GOD we did as we had the repair completed and the cl100 cleared for $350. I cannot fathom what else they overcharge and under deliver on!!!!

Was eager to work with them and scheduled a meeting with one of the sales reps, Lindsay - and she stood me up for our 30 minute consultation. If they're starting off like this, it's definitely not a good fit. Not to mention, the customer service rep I spoke to beforehand seemed like a nice girl--but she wasn't very knowledgeable when I asked her but I thought were basic consumer questions. Disappointed in them, but oh well - not chasing anyone down to give them my business, too many others out there. Next!

A representative of this company reached out to me in mid January 2025 to complete some closing repairs that were needed same day. We agreed upon a price and I dispatched a technician out same day to complete the repairs. We submitted invoicing and photos same day and was told we will be paid Within 3 to 5 days. 3 to 5 days went by and didn’t hear anything from anyone, I did get in touch with the representative that originally contacted us, and she gave me the runaround for about two weeks saying that she had to get an approval from corporate in order to release the payment. Today is now February 18th, and I tried calling back the representative and it seems as if she has either blocked my number or change her number altogether. I’m now no longer able to get in touch with anyone at Bosscat because their number on their website is inoperable sand they do not even have a phone number listed on their Google profile. I highly recommend no one uses this company for any service whatsoever and in all my years as a contractor I have never dealt with this level of negligence. Homeowners and realtors beware, the amount of this project was not enough to consider a contractors lien on the property, but if it were, you would be on the hook, not Bosscat.

Bosscat is not a professional company at all. They fired me because I have the same policy for my company that they have for me. That’s a little double standard. Said policy is they don’t pay me out until they get customer approval I also do not pay anyone until I get customer approval and every worker of mine knew that I have proof as well. Guess what still no homeowner approval although all projects were completed nicely. And guess what still not paying my workers until I also get customer approval. I hired a guy that totally messed up a project then talked me into paying him so I paid twice for the same job and lost money and ever since then I have had a customer approval policy. Bosscat better get on that approval and send me my money before I take property liens on all of the projects I’ve done.

Their platform is fantastic for anyone looking to streamline home repairs and renovations. I used their services to prepare a property for sale, and the transformation was incredible. NO SHOW - NO STARS .. PrePaid for work on house I had inspected by Pillar-to-Post who recommended Bosscat. THEY DID NOT SHOW UP.! They already have the $$. ... I have been chasing them on the phone for hours. The project leader Jay can't explain what went wrong. Can't tell me when someone will come.
I hope I can get my money back.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Bosscat doesn't pay their subcontractors and you run the risk of having a lien put on your property even though you have paid Bosscat for work that has been completed. We are currently trying to get paid for $30,000 worth of work that was completed 3 months ago and the homeowner was extremely satisfied with the work. Bosscat refusing to make good on payments is going to lead to a lien being placed on the homeowners property at no fault of their own, however in the state of SC that is the only way to attempt to try and collect either from Bosscat or from the homeowner. Lack of payment from Bosscat for a job well done leads subcontractors to believe that they are in trouble as a business and are having cashflow issues. That is something that a homeowner should not have to deal with. BUYER BEWARE!!! THERE ARE OTHER REPUTABLE COMPANIES THAT DO THE SAME WORK BUT PAY THEIR SUBS AND YOU DON'T RUN THE RISK OF HAVING YOUR PROPERTY LIENED.

I cannot say enough good things about them. As a real estate professional, I need reliable partners to manage property repairs and renovations. They have consistently delivered excellent results for my clients. The convenience of having all services coordinated through one platform is a huge time-saver. My clients have been extremely satisfied, and I will continue to recommend them to anyone in need of home services.

The worst experience I have ever had with contractors. I tried working with the company to rectify the unprofessional work done by the people they outsourced to. The company refuses to take accountability at the point in which they should. They offered a discount of less than the amount of damages and work not finished after ignoring me for three months. Then demanded payment and ignored me again all summer. Now they demand payment immediately.

0 stars for communication. 0 stars for timeliness. 0 stars for kindness of contractors. It's hard to rate their overall work, because they could show me 100 "after" pictures, and I would have no idea if it was done accurately. The only column I would give them any stars would be the fact that they accepted payment at the closing of my house, meaning I didn't have to have the cash up front. 100% would not use Bosscat again.

This company may dojobs correct for other people. But Its been over a year and they have not completed the things they were suppose to do. Now they put a Mechanics lean on my house and they are trying to get paid for Items they never even did. The paint job they did on my home inside and out was like an 11 year old did it. I have since had the paint job repaired . No one at the Company will never callme back. Infact I had 3 different people responciable nd be the forman on the job. Not a single person that worked on my hous is still with the company.

If you have other companies you can use you needto do it.

I recently moved into a new home that needed some upgrades and repairs. they came highly recommended, and now I understand why. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, and the team is top-notch. They took care of everything, from plumbing issues to installing new fixtures, with great attention to detail. The project was completed on time and within budget, and the results exceeded my expectations. My tenants have also praised the timely and effective repairs. They have undoubtedly improved the value and management of my properties.

I hired this company under the recommendation of my realtor and paid over $4000 for a faulty furnace and they did not provide any warranty information as promised!!! This company should be banned from doing business. They have snake oil salesmen posing as project managers specifically Roger and Rodney in the metro atl area. Beware if they are assigned to your project because they will tell you everything you want to hear and then as soon as you pay it will be extremely difficult to contact them.

If any way I can give no stars! My realtor recommended Bosscat so I went along with it. The majority of the work appeared to be "patch up" jobs!!! I hope the new owners will be aware of this while they have a 1yr warranty. They pretty much send guys off the street and triple charge everything!! I should've checked these reviews before signing up with them. Carolina One Realty needs to find a respectable and trusting company to work with!

Extremely unprofessional. They agreed to do an appliance repair, said it was completed and in working order, received payment and come to find out the appliance still does not work. Not only that, the contractor said "we actually don't handle appliance repairs" after they had already gone out to do said repair and were paid. I have since tried to contact the project coordinator multiple times over a 2 week period as well as management with zero response. My client should be refunded for the "repair" they agreed to do, but we are being ghosted by the company. I will never use Bosscat again or recommend them to my clients. Absolutely horrible communication and terrible experience from start to finish.

If i could drop this to zero i would. This is the worst experience with a so called "Professional Contractor". They never return emails or phone calls, they never finished the repairs and then just walked off with their money. They sent one person to inspect, two different people to do other repairs to my bathroom sink and proceeded to leave the old one on my bedroom carpet. Never repaired our dryer vent and screwed up the power in my kitchen for over a week. Absolutely terrible service. Thieves with a license. Realtors really need to talk to their customers more often and stop using these people.

Would not recommend this company. They will never give you a straight answer. Trying to get anything scheduled with them is a joke. Plan on at least a week to finally get on the schedule. Once it is finally scheduled, don't count on them actually showing up. They will cancel right beforehand.

I honestly do not like leaving bad reviews. However, this company screams unprofessionalism, and disorganization. Fixed my garage door 3x already, broke again and it is the same issue and under warranty. I was told to go pay for the repairs through someone else. It has now been a week they had one of their pro’s ti come check the issue, told them what it was. Stated they didn’t have the proper tool, Than they sent out a supervisor to check the same exact thing. Confirms the issue but again can’t fix. Door in the back also not fixed properly. One employee calls and says they have someone coming out 2 hrs later and employee calls and states has no idea when someone is coming. No communication. I now had to call my attorney and wait for an appointment for something that is covered. Stay clear of this business as items are not fixed properly and if you have an issue they are not transparent and do not stand behind their work. They do have a couple of great employees who actually cares about the customers more than they do.

Avoid this company and save yourself some real headaches. Bosscat/PunchlistUSA are difficult, if not completely impossible to collaborate with and are regularly totally non-responsive. The salesperson assigned will make tons of unfulfilled promises, while cherry-picking the most profitable items. The one worker I did see, Bobby, was great but other 3 or 4 employees who’s job it was to administrate the projects weren’t worth the hassle and to make it more infuriating they’ll repeatedly tell you how easy it is to work with them. UGH!!!! A complete embarrassment to Charleston, SC.

I recently PCS’d to Virginia and hiring PunchList was the biggest regret. Most of the work felt incomplete or rushed. My wife and I spent around $6500 just to end up spending more to fix or finish the work PunchList provided. Below are the items that we have had issues with so far.

Attic fan:
Work performed: Punchlist evaluated the attic fan saying that it did not have a thermostatic and that the fan was not working.
Issue: Punchlist replaced the fan but did not install a thermostatic for the fan to work. I am currently reaching out to contractors to finish the job.

Plumbing:
Work performed: Punchlist was hired to evaluate/inspect water pipes and repair bathroom drain line.
Issue: The drain line Punchlist replaced caused a leak damaging the dry wall. After Punchlist contractors came out and fixed the leak, not the drywall, it was pointed out that they did a temporary fix. Punchlist had cut out too much wood around the drain line and instead of adding more wood to the area they attached a couple of tightening rods to the area. Once the rods start to loosen, it will start to leak again. I am currently working with a different plumbing company to fix their issue.

Work performed: The plumber replaced the hose bibb.
Issue: Hose bibb had concreate sealer around the entire bibb. I had to chip the concrete off but the bibb does not allow for a seal.
Replace HVAC Cover:

HVAC:
Work performed: Punchlist replaced the fan cover on the HVAC system.
Issue: The cover did not fit and crushed the filter causing it to bend the filter slot. I had to remove the cover and unbend the slot so a new filter could be placed.

Sweep and inspect Chimney/Seal cracks in fireplace:
Work performed: Punchlist inspected the chimney and sealed cracks in the fireplace.
Issue: Punchlist sealed in the cracks and performed other work on the chimney/fireplace before the inspection was completed. The inspection showed that more work was required but they would have needed to undo what Punchlist had already done and perform the work again after the other repairs were completed. This would have made me pay twice for the same work. Punchlist did refund me some of the money for the chimney work but not for all of it. I am currently working with a different company to repair our chimney.

We reached out to punchlist to handle a repair addendum on a house we were selling. I used this company a few years ago and they were great, not sure what happened this time. It took over a week to get an estimate over to us and once we did receive it, it was missing items that we needed an estimate for. When we called to inquire why these items were missing we were told we never asked for them however, it was clearly shown on the portal request ( which they ended up calling back to admit). Once we agreed to the repairs, it took another week for them to get appointments lined up to which those appointments kept getting changed with zero communication. We were having to call two and three times a day to try to get answers. We ended up canceling everything because once again appointments have been changed and we had five days left until the property closed. There is no point in sending back emails or leaving voice messages for the manager because he never would respond back to you unless you called the corporate office to have them track him down. Being in this industry for 20 years I get stuff comes up but when you cannot communicate, your business will not succeed.

Realtor local to Tampa Florida. Punch list has been outstanding in providing comprehensive repair estimates that have greatly assisted me in property purchase negotiations. They have my wholehearted endorsement.

CALLING ALL REALTORS!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE HUGELY EMBARRASSED. Used them twice (shame on me). The first time, they didn't do all of the work that they wanted to charge thousands for and had to come back the DAY BEFORE CLOSING to complete. The second time they tried to charge my seller over $500 for work they didn't even do!!! Good thing I had proof with the reinspection. They had "roofers" come out to repair wood rot/mold infested wood. THEY SPRAY PAINTED IT TO COVER IT UP!!!! PLEASE DO YOURSELF AND YOUR REPUTATION A FAVOR AND NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. REGARDLESS OF HOW CONVENIENT IT SEEMS. IT IS NOT! RUDE GM at the ORLANDO division, said "seller's are going to pay because we don't work for free". I had to escalate it further. Even so my sellers are out $300 for an "EVALUATION FEE". Disgusting!

Never use this company when you’re purchasing a house in Charleston and going through Carolina one in MTP. They like to recommend contractors they have connections with, but these people will go into your not purchased home and falsely claim things are in good working order, when indeed they are not and items that need repairs or replacement. Of course after you purchase the home and find these details out it’s just too late and then no one wants to take responsibility for anything. Fakes and liars that don’t stand behind their work! Just don’t use them.

We used them to completed items on our home inspection for our sale. They sent some guy and his girlfriend in her Volkswagen Beetle (the job required a ladder) and no tools. My neighbor said they stood in the yard arguing for about an hour before they left to get supplies. All they ended up doing was spray some spray foam around an HVAC duct. I ended up having to knock out the list myself. But it was super cheap...I dont know how they can afford quality contractors for those prices. I would have gladly paid more to have someone capable and qualified come out.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! This was a terrible experience!!! The communication is non existent! This company is a scam. Quoted us an outrageous number for interior paint. Got two other quotes both 50% less. They ended up matching the other quotes but the work was absolutely horrible! It looked like a 5 year old painted the house. No caulking, no wall repair of minor holes, you could literally see the previous color through their coat of paint. Got Paint all over brand new installed floors, used the backyard as a washing station apparently for all their brushes. Huge areas of paint all over the back deck and in the yard. After getting the painters back out there we were finally left with some half A paint job. Charged over $2k for landscaping cleanup and installation. Literally all they did was tear out the old work and throw some mulch down. Mind you the mulch was everywhere and had to be cleaned up. No shrubs were installed even though requested and even discussed. No response to emails or texts for days. Then would get a response, oh sorry I was out of town. Been trying to talk to someone about it for weeks now and no one will respond to texts or emails at all. whatever you do, DO NOT USE PUNCHLIST!!

Incomplete work and unresponsive... zero response! 6 months later they bill me for everything and then never respond to my questions about the gaps. Seems like a collection trap more than anything.

After this review they called and made good on their price. So I’ll bump them up a star.

I'm a real estate agent and have used PunchList over half a dozen times in the last year. They have such a simple process that allows them to handle different contractors to complete the repairs so you don't have to! Totally seamless! My clients have never been disappointed by their services and the best feature is PunchList can get paid closing! This means all my clients retain their cash until they are paid for the sale of their home which helps enormously! l highly recommend them to everyone!

I would not hesitate to use these guys again. Can’t say enough good things. Prompt and thorough responses to our questions. Showed up on time. Did a great job and left the jobsite just like the found it. Punchlist meets all the criteria for a great customer experience.

What a great company for real estate agents! This is very helpful to get quotes for negotiation. So simple, just submit your inspection report and get a quote for all (or majority) of items. I just had to pay $49 to get a quote for an area they didn't work in but so worth it...saves hours of time shopping around for different contractors to come out to the house, etc. And I paid for 2 day service (it was $99 for one day) but they sent me the report the next day anyways!! Amazing! I have not actually done any repairs with them yet so can't vouch for those but the reviews seem positive :)

They are quick to respond and fit us in the schedule :0) SO great to work with and kept us updated. They even rolled with the punches when the seller added a few items last minute.

Punch list was fantastic when selling my house. They gave me a timely itemized quote faster than other places and for a good price. No deposit was required and they accepted many payment options. The work was completed well and quickly. I would definitely use them again especially when selling a house.

I have worked with PunchList multiple times and have always been very happy with their work. Recently they just went above and beyond to get repairs done for us on very short notice. Everyone from the people working in the office to the guys actually doing the repairs are extremely friendly, responsive and helpful throughout the entire process!!

They were super super helpful in the process of getting the work done that I needed done on my house. I am in the process of getting my house listed here in Charleston to sell and had a couple of things I wanted to get fixed up. They were able to give me a quote pretty quickly and once they did I approved what I wanted and scheduled it. I think the best part was their quality of work. The team showed up on time each day they did the work. Were super helpful, and thoughtful throughout the process and would highly recommend if you are looking to get anything done to your home for selling or even just if you still live there. Wish I had known about them before now!

PunchList is truly a lifesaving company for real estate agents and their clients. They always go above and beyond to make sure the parties are satisfied and the work is properly done prior to closings. I do not know what I did before PunchList and highly recommend using them!

Don't call these guys. I am a house flipper and called them for work, and they could not answer 1 question. I asked fro their contractors license numbers and they counldn't give them to me. Then they told me they only go off of a home inspection report from an unlicensed home inspector for repairs. I explained to them that this is not accurate and they needed to go to the home to see the repairs first. They then told me they wanted $200 just to go to the home. So they want $99 for an estimate, then $200 to go to the home and verify. Do not use them, this is ridiculous. I am starting a company with 100% free estimates and no cost to yuo unless you need work done. Also did research. their contractors have a specialty license, which means they can only do drywall repairs, paint, and flooring. If you have plumbing, electrical, structural, roofing, etc. etc. they cannot touch it or take money from you by state laws.

Pleased overall with various services provided. A situation occurred with some electrical work - Rich Estes with PunchList provided a solution for both parties - Demonstrating effective customer service which is challenging to come by these days. Thank You Rich!!!

PunchList responded very quickly to handle some electrical, plumbing and repair items prior to the closing on our townhome sale. They were
knowledgeable, professional and handled the work on short notice with no problems. I would use them again.

One of my agents was in a bind to get a quote for repairs made by the buyer during a transaction. She called several licensed contractors to get a quote but none of them were able to help, some didn't bother to call back. That's when we decided to give PunchList a call. We had a response within an hour, a quote for repairs within one business day and the repairs were completed within 2-3 days. We have been working with them ever since.
