We contacted Bobby in advance of our wanting to remodel our master bath. He was prompt, listened to my desires and made suggestions and plans that would enhance my bathroom. He is very in demand, so we scheduled for two months in advance.
We communicated on and off during that time. When the day arrived and Bobby and Eric arrived, I was so excited and found them to be fun to have around as well as very thorough in their work. They came with a plan and for 11 days they worked diligently and cleaned up after themselves daily. The bathroom remodel was everything and more that I had hoped for. Bonus: I felt like we made 2 new good friends! Plus, they came back to reset our toilets after the flooring guy came thru. Once again, Bobby came to my rescue. He recently remodeled a 1990's bathroom and transformed a closet into a functional, beautiful space. Bobby Adams worked on several projects for us over an eight-month period. The scope of work encompassed: leveling and reinforcing floors, water proofing and upgrading a large unfinished area under the house, remodeling two hallway/entryways, a significant redesign and upgrade of our kitchen, remodeling two and one-half bathrooms, and upgrading a laundry room. In the process he dealt with significant plumbing, electrical, structural, and humidity issues. He also installed tile and laminate floorboards, heirloom light fixtures and stained-glass windows, tin ceiling panels, two new doors, and doorknobs and hinges throughout the house. He even hand-created customized parts and features that only exist because they were required for this job. Bobby is a rare individual in many ways.
First of all, he is a master craftsman. He is extremely focused on detail because he cares about what he creates. His mastery of detail goes so far as deep cleaning and touching up every tiny section of cabinet, tile, or grout and even washing all the windows in a room. You can also see it in touches like folding window cranks and perfectly aligned tile. He will not rest until the work meets his high expectations. His determination drives his success.
At the same time, he has a keen ability to envision the dream, determine the role that each detail plays in that big picture, and then make sure that piece of detail lives up to its part. For him, it’s not so much about getting the job done as it is about the work being expertly crafted and beautiful. Not just in appearance, but also in design, function, quality and enjoyment.
Quality is his hallmark. What is more impressive though is that this craftsmanship crosses so many disciplines. From carpentry to plumbing to electrical to masonry, Bobby applied his experienced hand to make our home more comfortable, safe, and attractive.
Bobby is more than a construction manager. He is also a design consultant. We could not begin to count the number of times when we needed advice and guidance during these various projects. We found his knowledge base to be both wide and deep. From color selection to creating a one-of-a-kind showpiece, Bobby loved to get involved and provide knowledge of popular trends and classic style.
Bobby never said, “just tell me what you want done”. Instead, he would offer suggestions or provide an opinion on our dilemmas. If it was something unique, more than once, he would dive deep into research and come up with an awesome find. He is excellent at both listening to what you want and providing ideas to fulfill the vision.
Bobby seems happiest with a challenge. To him a challenge is not an obstacle, but rather a way to make a difference. His eyes light up when he sees one and he dives right in. Here is where his technical expertise and creativity kick in gear and you just have to step back and say “wow!”. We saw this many times.
Finally, and most importantly, what matters the most to Bobby is his reputation. Pleasing you is far and away his number one goal. He seems to have built his career by making his customers happy, one by one. We learned about him from the rave review of a friend. We totally agree with their statement that they would wait three years for Bobby if that is what it would take to get on his schedule. In fact, we have already booked him for three more big projects.
His fanaticism with reputation doesn’t mean, however, that he will shortcut his quality standards. He is not just looking for you to tell him “well done” at the end of a job or give him a five-star review. He wants to make sure that you will not be calling him back five years later because you found a problem with his work. That is an exceedingly rare view in this culture. Perhaps he understands the difference between first impression and long-term reputation.

I hired Bobby to completely remodel my master bathroom. It was 20 years old and the original builder grade quality. Bobby is a consumate professional. He came and measured the bathroom, and we went over design concepts. We extended the shower, completely tiled to the ceiling, added a soaking tub and tiled around that. I decided on a more contemporary look to upgrade the bathroom including vessel sinks. Every step of the way Bobby was making suggestions and confiring with me on how to improve the overall look. He has an amazing astethetic eye. He really pays attention to all the little details, and it shows. I highly recomend Bobby for any bathroom remodel you have in mind. He is one of the best. I guatantee you will be estatic about your new space.

We had no idea how complex and multifaceted a total bathroom renovation could be. My husband and I found Bobby and his right hand man, Charlie, to be a meticulous, experienced, and talented team. They came in and solved plumbing problems, removed a ginormous corner tub, rebuilt the area, tiled, painted, and so many other details to get the job done right the first time. It is wonderful to have true craftsmen who take pride in their work. We ended up with a beautiful, functional space. They treated our home with great care and personal cleanliness. Bobby did a great job remodeling our main bathroom so we asked him to remodel our hall bathroom as well. The house is not very old but we wanted to update it from the standard "contractor" look. My Wife also wanted a nice soaking tub and rain type shower head. We had him add the "old folks" grab bars as well since we are getting on in years. Bobby and Charlie did a superb job as per usual. Anytime a trades person is backed up six months or more than that is a good sign. If you want cheap than he is not your guy but if you appreciate quality and caring than Bobby Adams is your man!

We hit a home run with Bobby Adams. He is the ultimate professional and can handle any situation with expertise. He transformed our master bedroom and bathroom into a luxurious space, better than the Ritz! He added a feature to our kitchen as well. Don’t waste time with anyone else, you may have to wait for him but trust me it will be well worth it. I will wait for a year or more for our next project if need be.

We first worked with Bobby in 2002 when he remodeled our kitchen, a long overdue project. Six years later, he updated both of our bathrooms. In both cases he worked with us and offered ideas and solutions to make the finished rooms even better than our original plans. Our experience with Bobby Adams Remodeling Services was extremely positive. We discussed our master bath project with him and he provided honest, practical advice on our options related to design and style/quality of materials for our bathroom. Once the project was underway, his daily work always began and ended in a timeframe which provided the least amount of intrusion on our daily life. Bobby and Charlie renovated our bathroom shower. Our house is only three years old but the contractor did a poor job and it leaked at many locations. It was too dark in color and we wanted grab bars installed as we are getting older. Bobby came over and discussed with us and made some excellent suggestions. We selected Bobby because of all his recommendations and the fact that he has work months in advance. They do all that they can to keep the dust down and when they leave each day, everything is put away and clean. Bobby even dusted our adjoining bedroom. All materials are at his cost and he provides receipts for all. If you are looking for cheap than he is not your guy but if you want it done right the first time he is definitely the best in this area.

We had discussed a bathroom remodel with several businesses but were fortunate to get Bobby Adams! Bobby helped us with design and planning. His estimate of time it would take and the costs were right on. Both Bobby and Charley were here everyday, let us know the plan for the day, and then went quietly to work. We just finished having our 1961 bathroom remodeled by Bobby Adams Remodeling and love it. What a great job Bobby and his helper Charlie did for us. They were both very polite and pleasant people to deal with. Nothing but professional workmanship by both. We have become great friends over the past two weeks. Can't say enough good things about the service and professional attitude of Bobby and his crew. Gave a fair estimate of the work to be done as well as a realistic time frame for completing the work. There was an issue with the measurements (made by someone else) for the vanity tops and Bobby took the action necessary with the vanity top providers to make a crucial adjustment for a better fit. Some delay in getting the new vanity tops from the provider but Bobby adjusted his schedule to make time for us as soon as the new tops arrived. Would definitely recommend Bobby for any remodeling work that needs to be done, great carpentry and excellent finish work.

Bobby and team have done kitchen and bath remodeling work for us on several historic rental properties in downtown Winchester. Their work has always been of excellent quality and reasonably priced. We had a corner bathtub and a small shower stall in our master bath room and decided we would like to remove both and put in a large walk-in shower and replace the small shower with a linen closet.

After visiting a friend who had Bobby and his crew remodel her bathroom we contacted Bobby and had him give us ideas of how the work we wanted would fit our bathroom. Bobby designed the shower area recommended tile colors and glass doors that suited us perfectly. Also he installed a new tile floor and lightiing for the bathroom.

Bobby and Charlie showed up each morning right on time, told us what they wanted to accomplish each morning and showed us what was done each afternoon. It was really interesting to see the shower and closet being built up day by day.

The work was done extremly clean and quiet. We now have a five-star bathroom and could not be more pleased with the results.

Bobby redid tile in our bathroom and ran crown molding in our upstairs hall. He did a great job - the work was done very carefully and there was not a speck of dirt left when he finished. We really appreciated that he checked back with us and did touch up that really finished the job!
