We had a garage destroyed by a drunk driver - BMS’s rebuild is exceptional. They delivered excellent results! We present the “before” and “after”.

Excellent work by the contractors. Very efficient and did a really good job cleaning up after each visit. I highly recommend them for your restoration project. Here are two before pictures when I had damage from a leak and one after picture of the results from the excellent work from BMS Cat.

Great experience from beginning to end. Tyler, my Project Manager could not have been more attentive to my needs and wants. He, Gregg and Tim (the two workmen) were great throughout the entire project. They worked within my schedule, were communicating the process, showing up as scheduled and were just pleasant and professional. I couldn't be happier with the finished project. Warren Long, out of your Gibsonia office, did a great job estimating our claim and checked in with us several times to make sure things were moving along.

BMS CAT came immediately after calling and set up water drying equipment, monitoring it daily. They also removed part of the ceiling without any dust to the rest of the house and cleaned up extremely well. The tech, Josh, was very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend them.

BMS CAT was a pleasure to work with. Every person that I worked with was professional,
meticulous, courteous and did great work. I would hire them on the spot for any work I needed.

Two experiences, one with the coordinator, and one with the mitigation team.
The Coordinator, above and beyond. Did not have insurance, worked to help us in the short term, had good people. Had a fire.
The mitigation crew, I paid $6000 for a day of work. I was expecting a forensic clean. They were liberal with the paint, not protecting my newish front door, put paper on the floor, but did nothing above the floor aside from paint. Paid to have a shop vac cleaned, had to buy a shop vac, knock down smoke-tainted insulation and dust from the ceiling, and vacuum and wet down the floor for mitigation for the other restorers I have coming in. Drywall in crevices still there. Some wet insulation on the floor painted over.
I informed them privately, no response. Hence the public summary. The breakdown was $3400-$2600 for the painting and cleaning. 6 people, one day, feel like I got ripped off.

I have the check from USAA for the final invoice. I will sign it over and pass it along as soon as you send someone to repair the defect in the floor in my bedroom that you and Rick have known about for more than 4 months.

Warren, do NOT come to my house, do NOT step on my property; you will be trespassing. I do not want to see you or talk.

Although USAA approved the last invoice and issued payment, I know this is far more than it should be. If I could have seen it first, I would have insisted on a revision because:

There were NO garments or soft goods that needed cleaning, they don't exist.
The change of $2180 is your imagination working overtime.

My house has no sun room. I have the original plans and there is no such. You added that space to your drawings. The dining room ends at the back where is a set of sliding doors. There is a covered patio behind it. NO SUN Room!
The charge of $3166 is pure fiction

You only provided and installed ~ 30 sq.ft. of black ceramic tile, charging $3,160. FRAUD!!!

Your people never cleaned any part of my house. Nor did they return the linen closet and my clothes contents to their pre restoration locators and condition. I had top hide my own to do this job. The charge for cleaning is another of your fantasies.

The area of the floor requiring replacement of the wood is close to 1400 sq ft. This is derived by (approximate) :
Area of house, 50x40, 2000
less garage 400 sq. ft.
less 2 carpeted closets, 60 sq. ft,
less ceramic tile laundry room and master bath 60 sq ft.
less ceramic tile rear entry 30 sq ft.
Less footprint of stars 24 sq ft

Leaving approx. 1400 sq ft of engineered wood.
How much should this wood cost? You charged $21,362 PLUS $6670. from the original estimates. plus installation.

I am fed up with your lies, padded invoices, outright fraud and bungling crew. I am glad that I will be rid of it.

i am presenting the above to your company which has asked me for commentary both good and bad. I am also going to try to have your local blackballed from any further jobs from USAA.

Used near Pittsburgh. The communication from the contractors regarding billing is awful. Customer service is non-existant. I overpaid due to lack of communication and 6 weeks later I received most but not all that I was owed. They basically stole $332 from me and local branch refuses to talk to me. Corporate office just blames local but does nothing to help. My issue was cleared up after this complaint pretty quickly by new local people. Was rough but they seem to be cleaning up previous issues. Their work was good and hopefully the clerical issue have been fixed.

I'm very pleased with how quickly action was taken after my house fire. Respected my property and cleaned out the unsalvageable in a timely manner.

I highly recommend you do not use this company. The management team is disorganized. During my time working with them they lied to me on multiple occasions about what they were doing with my belongings, the work that was being done in my house, and when it was going to take place. It’s been very difficult to work with them.
