This enclosure is amazing..it overlooks out back yard that borders a greenspace..I see deer and hear birds and experience tranquility on a daily basis..the room is four seasons with both heat and air conditioning. I a winter snow I sit with my hot chocolate and enjoy the beauty..I also put our Christmas tree on the patio as it tall enough to accommodate a 12 ft.tree! Underneath the room is our outdoor patio which has a picnic table and chaise lounge chairs. There is no problem with rain as the deck above which was installed with the four season room has a wster wicking system in place to keep the entire area underneath, 98% dry in rain and snow..if it blows we do get a bit of water, but rarely..the investment was well worth it..love my Betterliving enclosure, complete with solar shades on all three sides..helps to protect in winter and shades in summer heat.

Ray and the team provided top notch service and craftmanship!! They were quickly able to handle our deck needs to perfection. Highly recommend Betterliving!

I had a sunroom put in the end of 2013. It has been my favorite place in the house but a little bit before Covid there were a couple things that needed tweaked couple caps that fell off doors hard to close and a door or two that didn’t lock anymore and unfortunately, a piece of plastic around my one door was cracked. Mark ordered all the parts but then time got away from us and either I was sick or something happened and finally, Frank and Kenny came out today. They fixed everything my room is like it’s brand new. I know this sounds like it takes a long time, but Covid was tricky. I did have them out to replace some caps and other things previously but for some reason, nothing seemed to work out on my behalf of when they could get out here so please don’t think that they weren’t on top of this. Mark had come out double checked everything and then Frank and Kenny came out today and they did a wonderful job they worked really hard. I couldn’t be happier. I tell anyone if they’re ready for a sunroom call Ray or Mark at Betterliving you won’t be disappointed! Thanks again Frank and Kenny !

I don’t own a home yet and don’t see that happening anytime soon and definitely wouldn’t be able to afford to add any extra comforts such as this. BUT If my experience with this company and location showed me anything it’s that they GENUINELY CARE about people. Not just customers but PEOPLE. My only vehicle broke down on the corner of Route 8 and Ewalt Road. I was only able to push it and drift into their lot. These people,instead of towing it they let it sit there until I was able to come and retrieve it. Not just in their lot but right in front of their entrance door. I forgot that people like them even existed. Saved me probably thousands of dollars in fees and fines. If I ever do own a home or get the chance to refer their services to anyone, I will be jumping at the chance. Thank you so much for your understanding and patience. BetterLiving of Pittsburgh did a SUPERB job putting in a sunroom under our deck. It looks like it is part of the house! The products are top quality. The workmanship is fantastic. They had to custom create some sections on site due to odd sizing of the space and they match the rest of the windows! They had engineering and detail work to do to ensure it is waterproofed under the deck and that the drainage hooked into our existing piping. They did this all while making it look like a designer room. The inside work of the flooring, the edges (especially up against the house) and work they did so the back wall looked finished could compete with any master carpenter. We checked out other companies and never were confident they could deliver. BetterLiving Patios does. Shout outs to Kenneth and Sean whose detail work and professionalism made this all happen. Shout out to Mike the project manager for his communications and quick responsiveness. The owner Ray in addition to Mike even came out and did the final inspection. We also had H&R Lanscaping (connected to BetterLiving Patios) put in an adjacent patio and a river rock border around patio and sunroom. They also did a wonderful job and we recommend them as well! They ensured the patio aligned perfectly against the sunroom and house, had pavers replaced that were not to their standards and put back the yard from both projects.

Betterliving patio designed and installed a roof on our patio. They were great to work with. We had many challenges with our patio and how we would be able to add a roof, and they were able to address all of our concerns. The patio roof system they have is a great product, with almost no maintenance. We could not be more pleased with the entire experience! I would absolutely recommend anyone looking for a patio roof, sun room, or enclosed porch to use Betterliving.

The Trex deck added by Betterliving is exactly what I wanted. The workers were diligent getting the job done in the four day window we were told it would take. On-site managers were well versed on the job. I am enjoying the 16 x 20 foot deck daily.

We had a 12x16 foot deck added off of our enclosed porch. A very large window had to be removed and a sliding door installed. It turned out perfect! Frank and his crew were meticulous in their work. I had rotten wood under the windows because they weren’t installed properly which caused water damage. They removed the bad wood and replaced it with new wood! The deck looks amazing and the aluminum railing is by far the strongest railing I have ever seen. The owner of the company (Ray) visited twice to make sure we were happy and alleviated any concerns we had about the damaged wood removal. This company is very customer oriented and I highly recommend them for your deck installation. THEY ARE AMAZING!

This company has far exceeded my expectations. They built an amazing all seasons room and deck. Rebuilt my driveway wall and added a bay window to my sunroom. It’s been about 17 years since everything was finished and I highly recommend them for anyone who is looking for a new room or deck. You won’t go wrong!

I have had Betterliving not only catch the others mistakes and fix it, but they stand by their products and of all things, are there if anything isn’t right. I had one instance I received the wrong color awning than what I ordered… but it took one quick call and it was all sorted out. The sales rep actually delivered it personally to apologize for the inconvenience (which wasn’t his fault anyway) and there was no harm done. I got the right color and was very pleased in how they treated me and my problem with such fast service and attention. When I first needed a contractor to help with a renovation of transforming our house we invested in, these guys saved us such a headache. We had a home that was in total disarray. Whoever initially built the home didn’t do it with any forethought. Years later when we acquired it, we had to figure out a way to expand the living space, make it more aesthetically pleasing, and more energy efficient. When they suggested adding on a sunroom, I laughed at them haha. I had already had other ridiculous estimates and reps trying to rip me off or pitch me some crazy reasons I needed this or that unnecessary work. I never imagined a sunroom would be the answer! Betterliving came out to discuss siding and an awning for the porch, did a walkthrough of the mess we were up against, and like it was no sweat, immediately knew what would make it all come together. They showed me how it would be designed with the house and bring it all together for a natural and modern look, without that “addition added” element you can normally pick out just driving by. Even with the trouble we had obtaining the permits and to bring it up to code, it was a piece of cake for them, saving us many months time. This is a company you can trust! They’ve transformed this place, added to the homes value and structure of the property, and took it all under their wing as if it was their own. I’ll never use any other company.

Betterliving Patio & Sunrooms of Pittsburgh recently completed the project of replacing my open porch with the construction of an inviting sunroom and deck. Things did not always go as expected, however, Ray Hepp, the Owner of this family owned business met every challenge with professionalism and and an immediate response. He was always available to answer any questions and truly made me feel like family.
His team deserves much commendation from the receptionists to the much experienced Master Carpenter, Jim Russell, whose work was very appreciated. An invaluable member of this team includes Mark Paczan who took his time to keep me informed on installation details and work that became necessary. The business was committed to making sure I was happy with the finished work. I am. They are trustworthy and I would recommend them to complete your projects!

We are so happy with our three seasons room Betterliving built. It is the room we sit in the most with a wonderful view. Ray Hepp was very professional and treated us more like family than clients. We have had our patio enclosure for almost 20 years. We had some issues where normal wear of the caulking produced some water dripping into the sunroom. I called Patio Enclosures and they came and scrubbed the roof and applied new caulking. Mark worked tirelessly and diligently and our room has been drip free since his call and we are very satisfied! We heartily recommend Patio Enclosures out of Gibsonia! Thi service call was not free; but worth it!!

Absolutely LOVE my 4 season sunroom and deck. Greg the installer showed up On time everyday regardless of the weather. He was a extremely hard worker. He went above and beyond to make sure things were done. Drew the electrician was very personable, professional and knowledgeable. Jimmy was great and was excellent with the drywal, (loved his taste in music). Mark did the floors and trim to perfection. Highly recommend all of them.

Ray and the entire team were excellent! I had previously received an estimate from another company, but they used subcontractors for the actual work and this concerned me. Another company came out and took measurements, but never gave me an estimate. I got the feeling the job was too big for them. I was now really hesitant to trust anyone to do the work and wanted to make sure they were going to do it right. I went to the BBB and found Betterliving with an A+ rating. From the beginning, I felt comfortable. They explained everything, were more than open to additional phone calls to clarify any questions I had and gave me an estimate very quickly. While I knew the work would not be started for several months, I received weekly phone calls from Michele, so I felt informed the whole time. They even took care of the permit that was required, so I didn't have to do any paperwork, handle the fee or answer questions. Mike was great about getting the measurements and he let me know the work would not start until he made sure all of the pieces were available. Frank was super with the installation. He treated the entire project as if he were working on his own home. The payments were done over the duration of the project, so I didn't feel like I was handing over my money without anything in return. And the final payment was not due until I was satisfied with the work completed. The warranty provided on the materials was excellent. I'm happy I decided on Betterliving and have been enjoying my patio cover every chance I get! A long time dream is finally a reality.

I had my deck re-done in my home this summer. My design was extremely specific and unlike the traditional design Ray’s team normally delivers. Ray (the owner) and his team did a phenomenal job. I had set a timeline for the project as 2 months for 75% of the deliverables as I had an event I was hosting outdoors. Ray and his team delivered on time and made my event a success. Ray is meticulous and does not cut corners. He adheres to regulations and is very responsive and polite to his customers. I would hire his company for future projects.

Betterliving Patio & Sunrooms of Pittsburgh installed a four season 12'x 22’ sun room under our existing hip roof. Right from the beginning we knew this was the right company for us, Anthony, our sales person designed and reviewed our options with us and explained each step along the way.

When it was time to install the sunroom, we were told the installers, Mark and Corey would arrive by 8:30am. Each day they arrived at 7:30am and were very hard workers. Meticulous and knew what they were doing. The electrician, referred to us by Betterliving, was excellent as well.

We are thrilled with our sunroom and the added space to our home. I have not seen one spider in my sunroom. It has rained with no issues inside and not super hot inside since we have the argon-filled, Low E, double pane insulated glass windows and the same Low E grade for our 7’ sliding glass door. We will be installing a Mitsubishi duct less system as our HVAC choice.

We engaged Better Living Patio and Sunrooms of Pittsburgh to transform our screened in porch into a four-season room. Our primary goal was the creation of a space where our grandchildren could play in the sunroom while we remained in our home. We planned to talk with them and visit through a window, since we are both at high risk for COVID due to cancer. I asked that the room be complete by Thanksgiving, but, as November dates became closer to the holiday, it appeared we would not meet the date. I appealed to our salesperson, Anthony, who connected me with the owner, Ray Hepp. Mr. Hepp was extremely helpful, moving quickly to obtain back orders (due to COVID) and assigning his team to finish the room before the holiday. We love our new room! Because of Mr. Hepp's integrity and kindness, we were able to share not only Thanksgiving, but also Christmas holidays with our family while maintaining the distance we need to remain safe. I wrote emails and left voicemails for the BIG NAME companies and got NO response! Then I sent an email to Better Living Patios and Sunrooms and recieved a call almost immediately. Joey was VERY nice and extremely helpful. Although he couldnt supply the replacement glass for my solarium, call actually called another company in my area (in West Virginia) and had them call me to schedule an estimate for replacementing my glass. They came out today and it looks like my problem is solved, thanks to Joey's help and selfless service!

We had a significant project, which included a sunroom, deck resurface, deck expansion, under-decking, new patio, and an open concept wall removal. We challenged them with several change orders as well. And the climate was also a significant factor with the the wettest spring on record. My overall conclusion is that they transformed our home. The material they use and the quality of work are at a high level. And the owner is a man of his word. I highly recommend them.

We were very satisfied with our new sun deck. Once the workers stared the project they worked until it was finished and this was in line with the time schedule. They also added a piece of flat board which made our patio room look better. There were a few items which needed fixed but they were quickly taken care of. The only complaint we add was the cleanup was lacking. The price was good and all in all it was a very good job.

We started out with a blank slate and a dream. Better Living Patio & Sunrooms took our dream and made it a reality. We LOVE our deck and patio; it is absolutely beautiful, actually stunning!

We had our three season room built last summer 2018 and we couldn’t have asked for a better result! We love the extra added living space - and when it rains outside we are still outside but nice and dry in our room! No bugs - no blazing hot weather- and we can enjoy the outdoors with our windows that bring a very nice breeze through the room along with the ceiling fan.We have a TV in the room which makes it a perfect entertaining area for our family and friends and neighbors and we cheer the Pirates/Steelers and Penguins on to victory!!!! We appreciate the attention to our needs and the focus of Better Living to insure our happiness with the building materials and the construction and the timely manner they adhered to in finishing our room. When the guys are done you feel like they are family because they take pride in their work and they aim to please!!

No show for appointment , be wary! Made an appointment to have the owner visit the house to discuss sunroom options and prices. Waited for an hour and he never showed or gave the courtesy of a cancellation call. Be wary of businesses having an average of excellent customer scores, do they remove only the bad reviews?

We just love our new sunroom by better living sun rooms. This company is 5 star to my wife and I. It is a beautiful room that we enjoy so much. The Builders and Sales dept were very professional and 1st class. I recommend this Company to all who want to add a sunroom. Jim Deep

Awesome experience. Our salesman Joey G was great. We met him at the Home and Garden Show. He kept his appointment time and took the time and explained everything about the windows. We even met him early on a Saturday morning to actually see what the windows would look like. Once ordered, he said 6-8 weeks and at 6 weeks I got the call to set up the installation the following week. The installers were meticulous. Everything was installed perfectly and they cleaned up everything when they left. I could not be happier. The whole experience was pleasant from start to finish.

I love my patio room. Everything was done extremely well and the workmen were fantastic. Workers showed up on time each day and worked diligently. It was a wonderful experience.

The experience from start to finish was amazing. Called to set up an appointment and on the day it was scheduled was greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable Sales Rep that took the time to listen what I was interested in and was able to get me a quote back that day. I went with this company because the owner Ray is a great guy and he holds his staff to high standards that he possesses. My sunroom was built exactly like they said it would be and on time. The Better Living folks came to the house, showed us various options, explained the process and made us feel comfortable. The build started within a day or two of when they originally estimated and was completed within the time period we were promised. Our new four season room is one of our favorite parts of the home and we could not be more pleased.

My name is Pamela, and at home "There are no bad days!" That is my moto since having my beautiful all season room, screened in Florida room and front porch added by Better Living Patio & Sunrooms. I have really enjoyed the additional living space that has been provided. I originally found Better Living Patio & Sunrooms on Angie's List. I contacted their office and Ray, the owner, picked up the call. The rest was history. My family and I are very pleased with the results and recommend them highly. The staff is great to work with and if there is anything that I have needed, Ray and staff have quickly responded and have taken care of it for me. We built a new house with the intention of enclosing the back porch as we had done at our previous home. After having several patio enclosure dealers look at and give an estimate we were ready to give up this idea as these dealers seemed to have no idea what we wanted. I then found Betterliving Patio & Sunrooms on the internet and was impressed with their website. We visited their showroom and was greeted by Ray Hepp and several others. They were very helpful answering all our questions. We scheduled a site visit with the owner Ray not just a salesman. Ray came and offered several suggestions and gave us a quote for exactly what we wanted. Several days later Jamie arrived to do a thorough measurement and layout of the job. Installers Mark and Shawn completed the installation on some of the coldest and most miserable days in February. They did an excellent job despite the conditions. We are very pleased with this custom made product and it makes a wonderful addition to our home. Also, I cannot stress how friendly everyone was to work with and the knowledge of their product was very impressive. I can recommend this company and product to anyone without hesitation.

We had a patio room enclosure installed back in 2006 and continue to enjoy it almost year round. It is where my wife spends time putzing with her plants as well as reading on the couch we have in the room. Only wish we'd remembered to shift it to the right so that we could have made it wider! We use it practically every day, for morning coffee and to read the paper, then mid afternoon to just relax, and the best is when it is storming--we love to sit out and hear the rain on the roof :) Needless to say we are very happy with this addition and have not regretted making the purchase. If we had another space for it, we'd probably add another room!!!!!
