BMC has maintained our roof at 2 different houses over the past 10 years. Our first roof was pitched with very few penetrations. We were on a maintenance plan with BMC and they provided excellent, prompt service every year.

When we bought our current house, we asked BMC to take a look at the roof. The flat roof was older and required some work so we hired BMC to perform a roof restoration. They did an excellent job and we have been on a yearly maintenance contract with them ever since. We had an instance of SUPER heavy rain and wind, which caused a small leak, and BMC came out the next day to make a repair. It was covered under the maintenance contract, which was amazing!

BMC has always gone above and beyond to not only do the job correctly, but with amazing customer service and response time. Not only are they a family business, but it goes back generations which is very indicative of the honesty and heart they put into their work. Their crew has always been respectful, considerate AND clean. I’ve referred them to so many of our family and friends over the years and have never heard a bad word after the job is completed. You truly can’t go wrong with trusting BMC.

This is a good company. I’m a landlord and have a few properties on annual maintenance contracts with BMC Roofing. The way they have maintained the roofs has allowed me to get over 30 years on several tar and gravel roofs. I’m pretty sure that one of the roofs they are maintaining is over 45 years old. That’s more than the 25 years you’re really entitled to with tar and gravel.
They have also replaced a few roofs for me. The last one was a membrane flat roof and before that was an asphalt shingle pitched roof. Both were done professionally and at a fair price.
I’ve been with BMC for a long time now. Here’s an example of why I’m still with them. There was what appeared to be water damage on the tiny ceiling area of a gable on a house that I did not have on a maintenance contract. Paul, one of the two owners, met me at the property. He figured out what the problem was and told me how I could fix it. Because I had not been able to find the problem, he could have made up an unnecessary repair and charged me a couple of thousand dollars. I would have been none the wiser. But he didn’t. He didn’t even charge me for the consultation. I would have been happy to pay for his expertise, but he said BMC gives free estimates—I think most of the roofing companies in Albuquerque do—and he just chalked up his visit to a possible estimate. There have been a couple of other times he could have cheated me. But he didn’t. It’s nice to deal with someone who is honest.

BMC did a real great job on what was an ongoing problem no one could seem to figure out. They got up on the roof, moved some roof tiles, looked around and found the actual problem before quoting and eventually repairing. Other companies would fly fancy drones or use google earth and guess what could have been wrong. Very impressed with the diligence of BMC to do it right the first time!

The Best Customer Service! Having a roof replaced is quite the ordeal. BMC was very professionals and got the job done right and faster than I ever expected. The entire process from quoting/scheduling/working with the HVAC company/install was so easy with all of the years of experience and knowledge the team at BMC has. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

The roof on our house was showing signs of hail damage, so I called BMC Roofing to get an inspection done. They came out the next day and confirmed the damage. They gave us a quote for replacement and said they’d work with our insurance to see how much we could coverage for. They were professional, always kept us informed of when it would be installed, and the guys did great work. Even on a steep pitched roof! Because of the competitive price, professionalism, and quality we always recommend BMC to our friends and family.

Came out to our house in a timely manner. They gave a couple quotes for different options. Very reasonable rates. They completed the job within a couple of days and did a very professional job. I know as I'm a former roofer. We have been using them for over 10 years at 2 different homes.

I have been doing business with BMC roofing for over a decade and have had several homes re-roofed in that time. The work has always been completed in a timely manner using high quality materials, and a highly skilled crew. Additionally, the owners of BMC are very attentive and conduct on-site visits/inspections to ensure a quality job. Their prices are in line with their competition, and given the quality of their work, I consider them to be a bargain.

They also stand behind their work, and they respond very quickly to inquiries from customers. Their annual maintenance fee is very reasonable and gives me confidence that my roof is always in the best condition possible.

BMC Roofing has replaced several roofs for me over the years, at my rental homes, and at my personal residence. They are very kind to deal with and the workers seemed to really care. I'll definitely hire them again when needed.

We bought our new home in Tijeras last December. The previous owner had paid this company $20,000 for a new silicone roof in 2019, so we thought we were good to go. Not so. We've discovered that there are multiple leaks in this relatively new roof. The previous owner had elected to not sign on for the annual $335 maintenance plan, which apparently meant there is no warranty. I get that that is how things are done these days. No maintenance fee = No warranty. But seriously. A three year old roof and it's already failed in multiple spots? I'd advise you to look elsewhere if you need a new roof.

We've had three leaks in the five years since they put on a new roof. Each time they said it wasn't covered under the warranty because the warranty only covers the roofing material, not the seams. We've had other roofing companies inspect it and they all have said we need a new roof. $18,000 wasted.

BMC was very easy to work with. Just bought a new house and knew the roof needed to be replaced asap. BMC worked with me to schedule a full replacement on short notice without complaint or upcharge. Gentleman who came out for the estimate was thorough, listened to what I wanted to do, and explained how they'd get it done. The estimate was almost exactly like two others I'd already gotten, so I think a fair price. The crew arrived on time, were very friendly, and got the job done in two days. They left the yard and the neighbors' space cleaner than they found it. Roof looks great and I feel like I got exactly what I paid for.

BMC replaced my roof a few years back and it required some extra build up work on garage due to repairs my husband and I tried to make maybe 15 years ago. I have carried a maintenance agreement with them yearly since then and they were always consistent with their quarterly inspections.
They have responded quickly when I have called. I recently sold this home after 20 plus years and the roof warranty transferred to the new owners.
I highly recommend them for your roofing needs.

I had a roof leak and was so surprised how hard it was to get a company to come out and give me an estimate. I tried a few and finally a coworker recommended BMC. Save yourself the effort and call/email them first.

BMC was a joy to work with and I highly recommend them. They were quick to come and evaluate the leak and the rest of my roof. They left me with an estimate that day. The leak repair was scheduled and performed very quickly.

They recommended a reconstruction of the rest of my roof - showing me pictures of the areas of concern and explaining the potential damage. They were helpful and not pushy. I did the reconstruction a few months after the repair. Both of the crews were professional, put me at ease, and left my property spotless.

After the initial call, I did all scheduling & the payments via email.

BMC has been helping our family (and extended friends and family) for years. They are always extremely responsive, thorough and reliable. I always appreciate how much time they take to explain the issues happening, as well as the follow-up after the work is complete. I always appreciate a family run business, especially one that has been successful in Albuquerque for so many years!

If I could give zero stars I would! Even if the work was good, the attitude of the man you have to deal with is horrendous. He will not listen to his customers due to his extreme arrogance. I would never do business with this company again. If you get a warranty on your roof repair, beware....they will be out of business within 5 years with this mentality!

I unsuccessfully tried to fix a minor leak in my roof myself; a really close friend recommended BMC. Best decision I made calling them. Paul and Charlotte inspected my roof, and provided an itemized estimate of the repairs and skylight replacement that day. Paul had me come up on the roof to show where/why we needed to repair the parapet, skylights, etc. Immediately scheduled the appointment for repairs, and Tim did the actual work. Work was done really efficiently, and professionally. Couldn’t be happier. No more leak, and the new skylights look great. Proactive maintenance will hopefully keep my roof in good condition for years to come. Can’t recommend BMC enough. If you have roof issues call this locally-owned company.

Wish I could be writing a stellar review but several issues occurred that have left me dismayed. The company came very highly recommended to me so I really was excited to have BMC replace my roof. I got my estimate (which was in the middle of several others I got) and a little later called to schedule the replacement and the soonest they could do was nearly 2 months later. I never received a confirmation call but they ended up showing up on the expected day at 7 am. They seemed to do a good job. Hopefully the roof holds up. There is a warranty so fingers crossed. The replacement was initially scheduled for 2 days but on the second day no one showed up. No call explaining anything. Wasn’t sure if they were done or not. Then Thanksgiving holiday occurred. A week after the install I came home to find one skylight was replaced (they were supposed to replace 2). There was a glob of silicone on my floor. Thankfully it was easy enough to clean up. I would have liked to have known they were coming so that I could cover furniture to protect it from debris. A week after this I had solar installed and during the installation they found that my HVAC unit had been moved. BMC denied doing so but when they came to look at it they instructed the solar company to just move it back to its original location. Hopefully none of the sauldering was damaged and it doesn’t leak. The only contact I had with BMC during this whole process was a call over a week after the initial install date to get my email to send an invoice for payment. Have tried to call a few times to ask a couple questions but have been unsuccessful in contacting someone. Some parts of my roof were not redone because they are covered in stucco and one the day they were here I was asked if I wanted them to cover the stucco and after finding out it was not necessary I opted not to do so. I believe my original estimate included doing this and I don’t want to pay for something that wasn’t done. Bottom line is I hope this new roof really is as good as they said it would be. The whole process of getting a new roof has been super stressful. I would have thought there would be a little more communication between BMC and myself. The cost was over $10k and I expected a little more customer service.

This business is run by an awesome couple who really take their work seriously. Had major work done on my roof when I bought my home years ago, they did a fabulous job. Work started when they said, finished on time, cleaned up afterwards. I was so impressed I purchased a maintenance contract from them to inspect my roof annually and make preventive maintenance, and free emergency leak repair!
