I was VERY impressed by their thorough inspection and cleaning of the chimney. Our furniture and floors were covered with tarps to protect them from getting dirty. If you think you might need to get your chimney swept, call these folks!

Excellent customer service and workmanship. They do what they say they will do, and they will show up when they say they will show up. They appreciate your business. Ron and his assistant dismantled my 100+ year old chimney brick by brick. As a nice customer service touch, they sent a thank you card and box of pecan brittle a couple of weeks later.

Extremely professional. Arrived on time and performed work making sure that all areas where they worked were covered and protected; this included coming in the house and covering over the fireplace. Pricing is very reasonable. I had them repair the chimney from the flashing up. The old brick were easily taken out by hand (no hammer needed) and the mortar came off as slabs. Thank goodness that the federally protected migratory birds that were in the chimney had gone. I also had them cap off the chimney; you cannot see the cap from the ground. They also offered a treatment to stop the water from damaging the brick and mortar for a time.

Blue Sky Chimney Sweeps came out to my parent’s home today to repair their chimney cap and inspect their chimney because their normal chimney guy was unavailable. They were prompt, professional, and honest!

They could have easily told my parents that they needed a new chimney cap, but instead they were able to repair the current one which was cheaper. They also inspected the chimney and were honest that it was in good shape and didn’t need cleaning.

Blue Sky Chimney Sweeps was great! We bought a house recently and weren't sure about the condition of our chimney. The Blue Sky Chimney Sweeps did an exceptional job inspecting our chimneys and gas logs today. They have our gas logs looking and functioning like new. The crew was efficient, polite, very knowledgeable, cleaned up well, and professional. They called before they arrived, and the scheduleing office personnel is very friendly and helpful. Blue Sky Chimney Sweep was very efficient, prompt, professional, and friendly. They were honest and would not do the work until the weather permitted and the product could dry. Ron went beyond the contract and filled in some missing grout that wasn't apparent when the inspection was done because of moss covering up the chimney. I would highly recommend this company. We initially hired Blue Sky to perform a pre-purchase inspection. They were able to quickly fit us into their schedule, performed a thorough inspection, and forwarded the report along with pricing for various repairs the next day. Ron did a great job of explaining and separating out the cost of repairs that needed to be addressed immediately (CO, water intrusion) vs repairs that could be dealt with later, which was really helpful when we were deciding whether to purchase the house.

After buying the home, we chose Blue Sky to rebuild the crown, install a cap, and point voids in the mortar. Their pricing was fair, and once again they were friendly, reliable, and did a great job. We really like that the cap Ron chose covers the entire crown and extends out over the bricks. Prior to the repairs, the chimney was getting saturated and dripped water whenever it rained, and it always smelled musty. Per Ron’s recommendation, we are in the process of painting the exterior to stop water from coming in through the mortar, but even prior to painting, Ron’s repairs have eliminated almost all of the water intrusion.

In the future we are planning to do further repairs to make the chimney usable again, and we will give Blue Sky a call!

I was most impressed with the service I received from Blue Sky! I called with a rather desperate plea for someone to come remove a dead animal from our chimney. Fortunately, they sent two men out to my house within a couple of hours to take care of the problem. They were very professional, and I appreciated their very quick response to my request. Our 1940's home had a leaking chimney when we moved into it. Blue Sky came out and sealed the chimney brick, sealed the crown of the chimney and put on a chimney cap. They came again because the chimney still leaked. The repairs involved diverting water from the roof and sealing the top of a 'hip' part of my old chimney. They came out the next week (on a rainy day) to verify the chimney wasn't leaking anymore. The chimney hasn't been this dry for years!

We also had a Valor Windsor Arch gas insert installed just last week. They did a great job and were neat and professional. They tidied up the area where the gas company broke a brick on my chimney when installing the gas line too. The insert looks great and works great too.

They addressed all my concerns and did a great job. I highly recommend this company. They care!

The Blue Sky team inspected and cleaned the chimneys in my circa 1906 home Friday August 5. Arrived on schedule with a 20 min heads up call when en route. The process was 3 hours from start to finish. Everything was cleaned up when they left and there was a thorough sit-down explanation of what was found and whether or not there were any safety concerns. Pricing very reasonable considering everything that was done. We are repeat customers and will be calling them again when the need arises.

Had them out today to check & clean our chimney as well as service our gas fireplace. I appreciated that they called to say they would be arriving early and gave me a 30 minute heads up. They were professional and respective of my home - kept my home clean while completing their work. From the office staff to the technicians professional all the way around. I would highly recommend them. Lastly, I wanted to share that they do what they can to save their clients money - they have a post card reminder system to allow you to schedule your appointment earlier in the year and receive a discount on their services (I forgot to schedule mine for late spring to maximize the largest savings, but was still able to save $20 today).

Blue Sky was great. Rebuilt our chimney from the flashing up. Ron answered a ton of questions over email before we agreed on a contract. Great quality work that came in exactly as quoted. One small mix-up with a part that took longer than expected to arrive, but they handled it professionally. I'd definitely work with them again.

I'm not normally one to write reviews but I felt I had an obligation to due to the wonderful experience I had with Blue Sky/Bless Your Hearth. They were easy to work with throughout the whole process. We had an estimate by another chimney sweep earlier in the year to have our chimney brought up to code that was $2000 higher than the price quoted to us by Blue Sky. Renee at Blue Sky wrote up a very detailed report with all the recommendations and prices of each issue that needed to be fixed. I was also given the option of doing some of the work myself ahead of time, such as removing wood and brushing the chimney that saved several hundred dollars. I respect the fact that they work with you, your wallet, and your schedule and aren't trying to squeeze every penny out of you. Ron and his assistant did a wonderful job on the chimney and fireplace and helped educate me on the final product. I also just received a nice followup card with copies of my credit card receipts from Ron and Renee. Overall, I had a great experience getting the appointments scheduled and have peace of mind knowing that the company stands by their work. I strongly recommend the company and plan on using them again in the future.
