Just had my Chimney inspected and cleaned by Chris and Anderson. Quick, clean and friendly. They did an awesome job and Rhonda is just great! I highly recommend and will use their services in the future for sure!

It took longer than I would like but it wasn’t their fault. They made things right and you won’t find another chimney or fireplace service in the Shenandoah Valley that beats their quality. They are also reasonably priced so highly recommend.

Blue Ridge Chimney was a pleasure to do business with. From Rhonda in scheduling, to Chris who did discovery work, to Chris and Gabriel who did the work of tuck pointing and sealing the chimney, all get an A+++ rating. We had Blue Ridge Chimney Services inspection our three chimneys on our farmhouse that was built in the 1870s. Viktor and his crew did excellent work completely rebuilding one chimney and replaced mortar in the other two and installed chase covers on all three. They worked several 12 hour days to beat the rain forecast towards the end of the week they scheduled to be here. Thanks again for the excellent work, the chimneys look great. Contacted Blue Ridge Chimney for an inspection and cleaning. They did a through inspection and found a faulty wood stove and incorrect stovepipe installed. They where able to install a properly operating stove and stovepipe. Dealing with Rhonda in the office, I received outstanding customer service. The service technician Chris was also outstanding in service and sharing his knowledge. These are now my go to people for all my wood stove and chimney concerns and should be yours too!!

We had a great experience today Blue Ridge Chimney requiring a lot of trouble shooting and steep roof climbing! Timothy acted like it was a walk in the park and Rhonda on the initial contact asked the right questions to know just what we required for the service call of our leaking chimney. Jonathon and Tim did a great job removing a terracotta flue and replacing it with a stainless steel pipe. They were great in answering our questions and keeping us updated as they completed the work.

In getting an estimate, Mr. Tong covered everything. I decided to have the installation done and am very pleased with the end result. The work was done with a minimum amount of intrusion and cleanup left the area totally free of any dust and debris.

In April, Blue Ridge Chimney Services did some repair work on our old chimney . This company was wonderful to work with! They explained what was needed and how the job would proceed. They took before and after pictures to show us what was done. The job was completed in one day. Everyone was friendly and professional, including the office staff who are awesome! I will highly recommend this company!

We have worked with them a number of times and were very happy but a product they used to repair the chimney damaged our roof. They said they’d contact the manufacturer and find out how to repair but it’s been over four months and they just keep telling us someone will get back to us. Four months with a damaged roof and no fix so we’re going to contact the Better Business Bureau next.

We recieved excellent service from Viktor and Davin. We hired them to sweep our Chimney to learn we had a great deal of damage from a Chimney fire. They were very proficient and professional in all they had to do. After the job was complete they cleaned the area they had worked in so well you would have never had known they had worked there. They were very pleasant and a joy to have them in our home.

Excellent service! I had a brand new fireplace put in and had Johnathan Tong from them come out and has been over the top helpful, not only did they do a great job with the install but they’ve also been extremely knowledgeable with troubleshooting and getting things going, can’t recommend them enough!

My wife and I were having our gas radiators bled in a 110 year old house we recently purchased when the service technician discovered that our furnace chimney was not drafting properly. Cold season was upon us but he cautioned us to leave the furnace off due to the carbon monoxide levels in the basement. He recommended we call Blue Ridge Chimney Services to see if they could help us.

When my wife called them and explained our situation they scheduled a visit after dark and diagnosed the problem within minutes. They gained access to the chase and cleared 3 buckets full of debris, put the chimney pipe back in place, checked to confirm the furnace was drafting properly and were on their way. They communicated what they were doing throughout the process, cleaned up and disposed of the debris they removed, and kept us informed of what they were doing to resolve the problem.

They made recommendations for how we could avoid a recurrence of the problem and were on their way. We have dealt with a number of contractors over the years as we built and maintained our homes, but are hard pressed to recall anyone who delivered the level of customer service and technical expertise than BRCS.

It was great to meet Chris & Paul of Blue Ridge Chimney Services. Chris asked us various questions about our present and future needs and inspected both chimneys for us. He gave us advice, options, and an estimate for what we need to do to have safe chimneys for our new house (built in 1953!).

Blue Ridge Chimney installed both a furnace liner and a chimney liner at our home, in addition to other more minor chimney repairs and upgrades. The technicians used quality materials, kept the work area clean, communicated well, and completed in timely fashion. The chief technician was Viktor Gura, who knows his trade well.

I purchased this house 2 years ago. The previous owner had a propane gas log unit installed. This was removed so that I could use the fireplace for burning wood. I phoned Blue Ridge Chimney Service to have the chimney inspected. Viktor and Matt arrived and upon inspecting the chimney, found multiple problems. Crack in the chimney, tiles in terrible condition, chimney cap base deteriorated, and needing a new cap. Viktor and Matt were courteous and professional. They took pictures and showed me the problem areas. I was at ease giving the company the go-ahead to proceed with the work based on those photos. On the appointed day, Viktor and Matt arrived on time to begin the task. I can't say enough about their hard work and efficiency. They were professional and made sure I knew where they were in the job process. Both were apologetic about being unable to complete the job due to a bad liner and poor fitting cap. We made another appointment for them to return with better parts. When they returned, they came early to start early. They worked through heat and humidity, dense Canadian wildfire smoke, loose brick falling into the chimney. They were absolutely dedicated to finishing the job, they worked late until everything was as promised. I now have a lovely working fireplace. I have worked with tradesmen before, and I can comfortably state that these men were incredible. Viktor and Matt are the pros that every company wants in their employ. Blue Ridge Chimney Service is the epitome of a well-run organization. To add to the good things these men do, Matt discovered a very bad leak in a bathroom, that if allowed to continue, would have ruined drywall and gotten into the HVAC system unit. Blue Ridge Chimney made us 3 custom chimney caps and repaired one of the chimneys that needed some more work done. The work looks great and the caps are beautiful. Very satisfied and will call them again if any need arises. Prices were better than other competitors that quoted us much higher for less work. They are also responsive, on time, and a pleasure to speak with. This goes for everyone from the guys that did the work to the sweet woman that communicated with us for scheduling.

Arrived on time, performed work in a professional manner and cleaned up afterwards. They educated me on some aspects of proper use and maintenance of my wood stove which was much appreciated. Took a look at the chimneys that needed caps and performed the work on the spot for a very reasonable price. Thoroughly impressed with the experience, both the company and the technicians.

These guy did great job of replacing an 40 years wood stove with a modern efficient new one. They also replaced the whole chimney pipe up and through the roof. They also come every year for cleaning. Very professional and i recommend them to everyone.
