I have purchased a dog kennel and a storage building from Helmuth, and just put in an order for a greenhouse too. Their buildings are well built and attractive, and are excellent quality! Both are on foundations put in by Fundamental Siteworks, and I could not be happier with the results! A shout out also to Calvin, who makes the delivery process easy for the customer, and is always willing to answer all of our questions about how the various machinery works!

I was mesmerized by the one man delivery! Very experienced and professional, is I can say! He really knew what he was doing! He delivered two sheds and had it done in no time at all. One was in the woods on a slope, between trees that were close together. It was just amazing how proficient he was getting the job done. I bid on this building in an auction and won. It took a bit to get it here because of the weather-the ground was saturated. They didn't want to deliver and tear my yard up, which I appreciate. It was pretty interesting to watch the process of the gentleman taking it off the truck and moving it into place. I had never witnessed this before. He had it set up pretty quickly. I think the quality of the building is excellent. The service was very good.

The folks at Helmuth builders are great to do business with and the 12x20 garage I ordered was delivered exactly as what I planned. Calvin has delivered two buildings now including the garage I ordered. He moved a 10x12 shed and had the equipment to move it around where I wanted it. It was wonderful. Great salesman by the name of William. I have already sent customer to him and they have also made purchase. Very pleased.

Just wasn't happy. I called for a estimate. I was told it would be a lot easier going to there website and filling out a I guess application instead of talking to them over the phone.( Which I don't see it being easier or faster for that matter. ) I guess I am still old fashioned.

Had a great time looking at their buildings. Tyler was a big help and answered all our questions. Convenient location.

We got a great shed that was exactly what we wanted. The price was great. It took awhile to get it delivered, but everything is back ordered right now. Very friendly and helpful staff. No problem with the set up. I would highly recommend them.

Love, love, love Helmuth!! I needed a simple but study shed. I did lots of comparison shopping. When you see the Helmuth quality, you might guess you can't afford it -- WRONG! Helmuth sheds are not just nicer, they give you more for your money too.

Diane at the Staunton location answered all my questions. She made it possible to get a great shed without exceeding my budget. And she arranged for prompt delivery. Then, like he was dropping a marshmallow into a cup of cocoa, Bernard delivered it EXACTLY where we wanted it.

Can't ever get a hold of the office to make my payments. Also, I feel as though our payments have dragged out longer than they should have for the RTO option. Perhaps I should have researched that route a bit more, as I definitely feel with as much as we pay over the "minimum" payment each month, we should be paid off by now.

Lowered the star rating by one, as I wrote this original review 3 years ago or longer at this point, and just recieved a reply 4 days ago. Seems a little late, which backs up my original review. I've long since been done with this payment plan, and have no different feelings towards them now, besides one less star.

I highly recommend this place for your next project. When I went there to check out the buildings, Tyler was very helpful explaining the details of the painting process they do to make them last longer. Also Tyler planned the delivery using Google maps to see exactly where I wanted it to be placed and they built it on time. I'm really liking my building.

Great experience with the Harrisonburg team. Needed a rush job on a custom shed during COVID. They made it happen. Watching it being delivered and installed might be the best part.

I spoke with Tyler Martin at the Helmuth Builders at the Shenandoah Heritage Market location in reference to a center support that broke on our LuxCraft 4’ Adirondack Glider, he asked that I email him with the information and he would forward to the LuxCraft vendor.
Within a total of 8 days between speaking with him, we have received the part to replace the broken one from LuxCraft. That’s incredible!
If anyone would have questions as to the quality of the LuxCraft furniture, do not fear, it is superior in design and performance and has lifetime warranty.

The Harrisonburg group was great to work with! Very professional and gave us a good deal on the building. Our new pergola with platform was delivered today by Calvin. He worked his magic and was able to raise the structure over 5 ft. fence posts, and place it up against our screened in porch on the back of the house. If I had not watched the process, I would not have believed it was possible. We are very pleased with our new pergola and platform!

I purchased my shed from Helmuth Builders because they had the best quality of all of the other companies I visited. Upon delivery I was extremely pleased with how well built it is. I elected the vinyl siding option to ensure years of good looks and low maintenance. The siding is high quality and was installed very securely. All of the doors are plum and a breeze to open and close. If I am ever in the need of another shed, I will definitely choose one from Helmuth Builders. Highly recommended.
