Chris and the black diamond team were amazing. Constant contact with me throughout my whole project from start to finish. He turned my 1950’s home into a work of art! I wish there was an option for 100 stars! Highly recommend.

We recently did a gut renovation of a complicated 4 bedroom waterfront property with Chris and the Black Diamond team. We were so lucky to have had such an incredible contractor. Chris personally overall, every aspect of the renovation and was on site all the time navigating the various trades coming in. His eye for detail, his organization, his fantastic style and his extremely patient demeanor all made for a great experience. Chris is kind, skilled, knowledgeable and extremely hard working. He made himself available to us seven days a week and even when I sent messages late at night after work, he would respond promptly. He routinely looks over the work that the subcontractors do to make sure it is up to par and when it does not meet his standards, even if we would not have noticed the difference, he arranges to have it fixed. He truly takes on the project with the same responsibility as if it was his own home. He is also extremely thoughtful, creative, and an excellent problem solver. We ran into a myriad of complications due to the way the house was configured, And Chris maneuvered through each and every challenge with a calm and thoughtful approach. He was also extremely patient when we changed our minds about something and always had the attitude “I want you to be happy”. He also worked extremely well with the Decorator we had hired and was often on site when she was to help us make selections. Importantly, the contractors that Chris uses are extremely talented and work really well with others. We gave Chris a tight deadline and he worked incredibly efficiently to not only meet but exceeded that deadline. This often required having four or five trades in the house at the same time which other contractors would not have been willing to do. He beautifully orchestrated all of the moving pieces and we passed Every inspection with flying colors. Importantly, Chris also maintained a very good relationship with the county building department, keeping them abreast of what was happening. Several of the inspectors said to us that they really enjoyed coming to Chris’ projects Because of how organized and methodical he is. On top of that, he is wonderfully friendly and we truly enjoyed getting to know him and his wife throughout the process. If you need a contractor, I could not recommend Chris more highly. I’ve added a few photos of his work but they don’t do it justice. If you have any questions about the workmanship, he is capable of, asked to see his own home. It is absolutely stunning and meticulously detailed. As soon as I walked into his house, I knew that this was the right person for the job.
