I contacted Jermaine after being highly recommended from a group on Facebook and also noted good reviews on google so I was confident I wouldn’t have any issues .He did an estimate to patch my roof and also install a camera for me .We scheduled a time and day ,just for him to NEVER follow up with me .”I had to call him back” just for him to tell me oh it was raining today I could not do the roof work .Well in business I would think someone would follow up with me ! So I gave it another chance and scheduled another date with him another no show ! I called him again and he gave me another time that day to come and guess what HE NEVER FOLLOWED UP! I had things to do ,was held up completely by this unprofessional prick!How can someone be so unorganized,unprofessional and doesn’t value other people time be in business?? Pathetic ! After reading all of the great reviews, I decided to call NJ roofing maintenance. I never expected such horrible customer service. They were supposed to come to my Home 2 times, they never showed without even a call to let me know anything, even promising to come before the insurance company would be out to my home, the second attempt. Very disappointed would not recommend.

Jermaine and his team came out on time to assess my roofing and recommended replacing the roofing/shingles since most of them were lifting, leaking and old. When it comes to finding a company to do work I interview a lot of people before making a decision. Of all the companies I interviewed, Jermaine was the only one to come out to my building on time, send me a formal quote and follow up.
Not only did Jermaine quote a more detailed repair of my roof, but his price was within our budget, he didn't try to upsell me on a bunch of work that didn't need to be done.
When the work was scheduled the payment schedule was explained and the work started on time. While the work was being done Jermaine showed me the roof with his drone. I haven't had any leaks and after this weekends storm I am 100% positive all of our leaks have been sealed up and would recommend Jermaine to anyone thinking of having their roof replaced or repaired for leaks.

Project: Tear-off of two layers asphalt shingle roof and new 20 squares roof installed.

I was asked to write this review by Jermaine, the owner of NJ Roofing Maintenance, and the person who I hired to do the tear-off and new roof on our 1964 split-level home. But I would have wrote it anyway, even if he hadn’t asked. I am very happy to make known my thoughts on the job he and his crew did, so I could make sure others who want and need a top-notch job done on their roof don’t have to look any further. You have found your roofing company. Upon Jermaines’s initial walk-through, everything was clearly and concisely communicated to me what was needed and why, for the project. For all DIYers or those who happen to love construction for one reason or another, you will be pleasantly surprised at Jermaine’s generous spirit and engaging explanations. He is the expert’s expert - totally knowledgeable but approachable with courteous customer service. He picked up immediately the couple of times I called. And he would reply to texts promptly. From the masterful workmanship and execution of all aspects of the job - like carefully protecting my house during tear-off, thorough clean-up during and after completion, his crew working together so peacefully and diligently - to the actual, final result of the new roof, handsome and stately, bestowing beauty once again to my home.
Over the course of three days, Jermaine and his crew not only tore off two layers of asphalt shingles, replaced several pieces of sheathing, flashing, they also rebuilt my brick chimney which had lost three courses at the top to the ravages of the elements and added a cap. He himself got on the roof to do the brick work, and numerous times during the course of the project, to fix one detail or another, making sure everything was just right.
I observed them work for most of the project as I love my house (lived in it 47 years and counting). I saw how the crew neatly lined up the synthetic underlayment so it layed down straight with no bunching or creases. Needless to say, I can’t speak highly enough of NJ Roofing Maintenance’s quality of workmanship, attention to detail and marvelous service. I could write more, a lot more, but I think you get the picture. Do yourself a favor and give this company a call. Let him give you an estimate and see for yourself. He will work within your budget. I don’t think I’ve written such a detailed review before for a contractor, but man does this company deserve it. I’m glad I discovered this gem and hope others have a chance to benefit from really fine service and high-quality work that’s not easy to find these days.

I had water coming in through my ceiling because of deterioration of my chimney. Jermaine answered my call and was at my house within the hour. In less than three hours from him showing up the work was completely finished.

NJ Roofing Maintenance replaced the roof on our 3-unit, flat roofed condo building. They completely knocked it out of the park and exceeded my expectations.

Jermaine the owner was very responsive, professional, timely, and knowledgeable. He walked me through each roof system and gave his honest opinion and advice. We ended up with a far superior roof system and we couldn't be happier. They even installed a hatch for access to the roof, which has been very helpful.

Upon the first call, Jermaine was at the site for an inspection by the next day. They are the first roofing company I have seen that uses drones to survey the property first and get measurements. Their prices are fair and competitive, especially for the quality of work they perform. NJ Roof used only high quality materials, and the finished product shows the quality and workmanship.

I called Jermaine for replacing our 31 year old roof & 2 sky lights. He said he would be able to come to the house on the same day to assess and give an estimate. He showed up on time as he indicated and gave a very reasonable price for what needs to be done. We told him that we are also waiting for several bids from other contractors. He understood and he indicated that his price is very competive. Finally, We decided to go with his after reviewing the ‘google reviews’. We signed the contract, then he set up the time table when the work would commence and finish. He & his crews showed up on time, and completed within the scheduled time. I’m very much impressed. One more item to mention: The crew missed one ridge ventilation installation. When inquired, Jermaine acknowledged the mistake and came over the next day and rectified the situation to my satisfaction. It showed his dedication to his work and willingness to admit the mistake and taking care of his clients.

We received excellent service from Jermaine and the guys. Extremely responsive, timely and professional. All around great service, definitely will be using them in the future.

My mom needed her Shed to be taking down in her backyard and I hired Jermaine and his crew to do the job... Jermaine and his crew was on time very professional and cleaned up everything and disposed of all the debris they even went above and beyond and cut some branches from the tree for us even helped me move my AC from the garage and place my barbecue grill for me on the patio once it was done. I highly recommend Jermaine and his crew I must repeat they did an excellent job and I will hire them again for other repairs. Oh and let's not forget his price was very reasonable, if you need work done hire him you will not be disappointed!

... Update 11/22/23... Multiple leaks occurring 2 years after completion. One earlier this year and one this month. Have been trying to get them to come out and inspect / fix this one leak for over a week now! Owner has stopped answer my phone calls, text messages and emails.

I found Jermaine and NJ Roofing online, I did a quick Google search and was blown away by all the positive feedback. I gave them a call and they were very responsive. The same day, their team stopped by my house to give me an estimate about the work needing to be completed. As a new homeowner, I wanted to check pricing before agreeing to services and circled back to NJ Roofing because they were UNBEATABLE (from a price standpoint). The entire experience was great from start to finish, my roof was damaged after Hurricane Ida, so I was on the queue line for a few days but when they were able to address my roof, they were timely, professional, took before and after pictures, very responsive. I will always continue using Jermaine and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable roofer. Thanks again!

My gutter also needed fixing and he allowed his team to fix my gutter for me as a courtesy, completely free. Great roofing company. We had them do all the repairs our roof needed and they fixed our roof leak replacing all the missing shingles. We still had one of the leak still after their first visit but they came after on another day to fix it. Great service. I would recommend them.

Jermaine and his crew were thorough in their work on repairing the roof flashings on the side of my house and painting the ceiling where the leak came through. Reasonably priced, I would recommend and use them again.

Responded quickly and used his drone to take pictures of my roof, and identified the issues. Unfortunately, we could not get an appointment to fix the roof, so we hired someone else.
Update: We contacted them on 8/30/23 because we know they are the best for this job. Even though we had scheduling issues before, I am confident everything will work out this time. Jermaine and his crews have completed three jobs for me, and every time I’ve been blown away by Jermaine’s professionalism, the quality of work done by his talented workers, and the reasonable prices. I have an old house and there are always little bumps in the road— the workers always take the time to resolve whatever problem arises so that, despite the extra trouble, the end result is perfect. I HIGHLY recommend them!
For reference, they have replaced a roof, replaced and insulated a ceiling, built a couple of rooms in my unfinished basement including closets, lights, windows, and ceilings, they’ve leveled the rough floor to install flooring, and they’ve refaced a bedroom built-in closet and dresser with custom doors and drawers. In addition, they have painted everything meticulously. The best painting I’ve ever had done. They will be installing a kitchen in my basement next. Hire them and thank me later!

I’ve found my new home improvement company!!! Jermaine and his team are great. First, he did a roofing job for me. He had the best quote and completed the work in a timely manner. He even pointed out some shoddy work by another company that was most likely the cause of my persistent leaking. Serval rainy days later, no leak.

On the next job he converted a small half bath off from my kitchen into a pantry. The room looks great and the job was completed in a timely manner, with excellent clean-up.

Lastly, after get a new sink and filter installed by another plumber, I developed a leak under my sink. Jermaine sent a team member to check, repair the leak, and changed a great rate for the work.

I’ve saved his name in my phone and recommended him to friends.

June 2019. Asphalt shingle installation, replace all gutters/downspouts, replace rotted wood on my deck and paint/stain. I highly recommend Jermaine and his team. They are courteous, professional, prompt and clean/haul debris away once the job is completed. Jermaine is extremely knowledgeable, patient and addressed all of my concerns. Since this is the first large job I have had to complete on my home, I had many questions. The thing I appreciated most is Jermaine's honesty. In looking for the appropriate contractor for my project, I had another company that came out and gave me an estimate that included the flat part of my roof. I immediately knew this was NOT the company for me since this project was already completed a year ago. After Jermaine's inspection, he noted the flat part of my roof was in good shape so they would only need to do the shingles. Jermaine and his crew are the best in the roofing business here in NJ. We own multiple properties. They have done two roofs for us so far and we intend on using them for all our upcoming projects. In one property they replaced the ceiling inside our tenant's laundry room as well as the roof above. Outstanding work. Before they even showed up, the paperwork was completed correctly and on time. Their insurance is solid. They were kind and courteous to our tenants and customers while they were working. They left the place cleaner then when they found it. Jermaine knows roofs better than anyone I've met in this business. We intend on growing our business alongside his for a long time. We can't recommend them highly enough!

When I searched for gutter cleaning on the web, NJ Roofing Maintenance came up as top choice in HomeAdvisor.
And it was a really top choice. Next day, Saturday, Jermaine came and did an excellent job with our messed up gutters. They work like new now.
In the meantime he and his company sealed our windows on the weather side of the house and repaired missing siding below the roof.
Very nice and professional team, fair pricing and arriving right on time.
