We hired Oscar to handle two repairs at one of my properties. Oscar requested to be paid within minutes of him finishing the work. It seemed a little odd but we complied. When we asked for an invoice he told us that he would send it when he got home. More than 24 hours later, I still do not have an invoice for the services that I paid him a significant amount of money to complete.

It seems that he’s now decided to ignore my text messages, phone calls and emails. I have never worked with a contractor who is unwilling to provide an invoice documenting work done and price paid for said work. Hopefully, the repairs that Oscar addressed within my home hold up. It’s now abundantly clear to us that he is trying to avoid attaching his name to the job. I plan to notify my attorney tomorrow.

Hardworking people BEWARE, something shady is happening with this guy. Take your hard earned money to a contractor who takes pride in his work and conducts himself in a professional manner.

Oscar has been very professional and precise with his work. We have been working with him since 2020 where he there to help us with an emergency. Since then he is always the one we go to get the professional help we need with work around and in the house. Extremely satisfied with his work and will reach out to him without any doubt for our next project.

Oscar and his team helped patch up my plaster walls that were torn up by my electrician. Their work looks great. As if they’re brand new walls. Oscar was easy to work with and the price for the work was fair.

Oscar paid attention to the problems with my roof. I did a lot of research on how roofers would cut corners, and I watched as they put the roof on and they did it properly. He and his crew even took extra precautions (that we didn’t even talk about) to ensure there wouldn’t be any leaks. ie….wider roof and wall flashing, larger water seal area, filled in where the roof had a low spot. He also did a great job fixing the inside of the house where I had water damage. Always answered his phone, and was on time. Would highly recommend.

I hired Oscarin Constuction to fix a leak in my ceiling. After fixing it, it leaked again. In March of this year, they re-opened my ceiling and said they fix it. But as a precaution, I was asked to leave it open until it rained to be sure. Well there’s been lots of rain since March 4, 2023 and they have not come back.

I messaged them with a pic to say the leak is small but still there. Each time they said they were coming and did not show up. June, September and October. Then after not showing up I called the office. They told they would be there that day at 5:35pm. By 6:10pm they messaged to ask if I was free the next day. I said after 4pm because I had a funeral. They did not respond nor show up.

Once I got angry, they replied and said “you said not today”. That is not what I said, and why after being laid for a job do I have to keep calling you to finish? Started out professional and ended up like most contractors, leaving for bigger jobs. I will not recommend dojos contractor unless you don’t care when your job gets done.

So 7 months later my ceiling is still open!!

He was responsive, came on time and worked hard. Ceiling and light fixtures were done well. Good installation of new window. However, paint not even and drippings on walls, wood floor and wood doors. Electrical outlets poorly installed. Quoted a price and then I had to go and purchase all of the supplies during the week of the job. Disappointed that I had to rent a dumpster to remove the construction debris, even though cleanup was stated in the contract.

I needed drywall installed quickly in a room I was renovating, and Oscar came out to provide a quote less than 12 hours after calling him. He was able to get the job started the same week, and they did a great job. The house is over 100 years old and not completely even/level, but he was able to make the ceiling look better than it ever had. His communication was very clear and he always showed up when he said he would - he was even flexible when I needed to push the start date back a day! I’d definitely recommend Oscar and will likely hire him again when I’m ready for the next project!

Where do I begin? Oscar was very intuitive and receptive about what I needed. He went to the root of the problem and not just the cosmetic (coverup). I would absolutely hire him again! I am satisfied with him, his workers, his labor and his price.

Oscarin Construction did an outstanding job replacing our roof including adding new plywood over very old planks with gaps and holes under the old roof. We are very happy with the Owens Corning architectural shingles which we chose from a wide variety of colors. The installation was extremely professional, with an excellent result. The crew was meticulous about every detail of the job. We feel very secure and satisfied with the quality of the work.

I hired Oscar to replace the columns in the front of my home. He was professional and responsive throughout the entire process. The columns came out beautifully and sturdy. I highly recommend him and will definitely hire him again in the future.

This guy came, gave me a quote, and never once mentioned that I would need to provide my own supplies. The morning of the job, I find out I needed to buy a bunch of sheetrock??? If I knew that, I would never have agreed. Only unprofessional people are shady like this. Avoid.

Oscar came with his team to remove a balcony and close it with Sheetrock. The estimate was very reasonable and the work done was perfect and quick. Very good guy and honest. My review only relates to the unprofessionalism displayed by Oscar. We set up an appointment at 10 am which he missed and didn't even offer a courtesy call. I even gave a grace period of 15 minutes when he didn't show I called he says.," Oh my current customer need me now , can you give me an hour or two." I said you could have given me a courtesy as a new client but this early on shows that it may not be the best fit. My google family what happens the phone disconnect. My wife advised he did call four hours later to explain his phone died and he could still come: which he did. I offer a change to my review as he called back.

As a result of water damage from a plumbing leak, a big piece of my ceiling fell down in my bathroom. I didn't know who to call. I tried some well-known companies and they were giving me high estimations without physically looking at my damage. When I called Oscar, he quickly came to my rescue. He reviewed the damage in my bathroom and gave me a fair (the best) price. On the day of my appointment, he was on time and very professional. He replaced my ceiling and painted my bathroom in one day. This was AMAZING! Other companies had given me high priced quotes with a three day timeline. OSCAR IS THE BEST!
