Can’t say enough great things! Our town had a massive storm and several of our buildings had a lot of roof damage. We made one call to our insurance company, and one call to Big Roofing. Steve took care of everything every step of the way-from meeting with the insurance adjuster, the insurance company claim, all the way to clean up. We were able to be hands off for nearly everything. Having someone like that makes a stressful situation A LOT more manageable. 10 out of 10!

JD was very knowledgeable and responsive. He went above and beyond throughout my project. The window, siding, and painting crews were all great. Very happy with the ProVia windows and doors and the end result.

Matt came out the same day that I called and did a preliminary inspection on the roof. He handled the claim with the insurance company and in the end they paid for a full replacement. Big roofing and Matt made the process stress free.

BIG Roofing did a great job of putting a new roof on the house. All costs made clear. We had some bad underlayment that was replaced. Cleanup was excellent. Steve is honest and great to work with. Crew was highly skilled and respectful. We're glad we hired BIG roofing.

From the first phone call to the final walk thru, JD was professional and kind. No hard sell. I'm extremely happy with the 2 windows and doors I had installed. The installers were efficient and paid attention to detail. Their clean up was outstanding. My first contact with BIG was early March and install was completed 5/1. I live in a condo on Delaware in Ankeny. I'm amazed at the traffic noise reduction!

BIG Roofing is great to work with. Good communication, and when we had a leak at a commercial building outside of the DSM metro, they got a team out there same day to check it out before we got more rain, saving us further damage. Would definitely recommend for their timeliness, communication, and knowledge.

With the recent storms we had lost enough shingles to the point where we were getting water staining on our hallway ceiling: JD was quick to come out, tarp the problem area to prevent further damage, and provided a fair and transparent quote on what needed to happen to get everything fixed up. Highly recommend for their quick response and quality workmanship.

We used Big Roofing to find and determine the cause of a leak on our roof. JD came out and quickly determined the cause of the leak. He gave us two different quotes and options on how to proceed. JD was easy to work with and listened to our concerns. JD also kept in communication with us on the progress of the work. The work was completed in a reasonable time and was completed with quality materials and workmanship. All the materials were picked up to the point you would have never know that they were there. I would not hesitate in using Big Roofing in the future.

We had them come out and inspect my roof, which is 20 years old. They recommend just sealing and replacing some top roof shingles and some boots around the pipes and caulked it. Very reliable and now my roof is ready for winter and another 5 to 7 years before having to re-shingle. Great job. Thank you..

We were hit pretty hard in yesterday Strom in Urbandale. The team that showed up are very friendly and professional! While waiting for the team to come cut the tree out of our house, they saw me raking and cleaning up. These guys graciously offered to do yard work while they waited! Outstanding service! I called BIG Roofing at 7:00 PM on Friday of Memorial Day weekend and left a message. Tyler called back by 7:30 PM that evening and asked if he could come out the next day (Saturday) at 8:30 AM. I said it wasn’t really an emergency, just some suspected storm damage, but he said no problem, I am working tomorrow. He was here at 8:15 ready to get on the roof. He did a great job, thank you Tyler!

I've used BIG Roofing on two of my properties now and they have delivered a great experience on each of the projects. They are very transparent with costs and do what they say they are going to do. Their workers are extremely hardworking and very respectful of the property while on site. I also had one insurance claim in which they communicated directly with the insurance company to get them all of the paper work making it a seamless process on my end. Steve was great to work with he really went to bat for us with our insurance company to make sure we were taken care of. He had a great crew of men and women that cleaned up after themselves everyday and worked long nights to get the job done in quickly. Hail damage in the spring caused us to need new roof, gutters, and siding. Steve and his team handled everything exceptionally for us from start to finish. Took care of everything for us and made the entire process super simple and easy. The work completed was done exceptionally and exactly as expected. From start to finish Big Roofing was responsive, helpful and professional. They assisted with insurance process and financing process and were able to get my roof done quickly as we had a leak. They also patched the leak until they could get there. Would recommend them 100%.

I used a different company to replace my siding. After it was completed it rained and I had water coming through my living room ceiling. I called the company I had used they said it was not caused by the siding being replaced. I contacted Matt with BIG Roofing. Matt and Steve came out that next day and discovered it was due to the new siding. Matt notified the company that I had used and showed them where the problem was. He also made sure that they fixed it correctly. I would definitely recommend Matt with BIG Roofing.

Last year when a derecho blew through Des Moines last year, my home’s roof was damaged from the wind and hail storm. Fortunately my homeowner’s insurance covered the damage. BIG Roofing in Des Moines helped me deal with my insurance company and made everything work out really well.
I am an Architect, so I wanted to replace the roof with the best quality shingles that would meet my preferred technology requirements, budget and warranty. With the help of Project Manager, Matt Christiansen, from BIG Roofing, I choose GAF Timberline HD Shingles using all GAF Materials to replace my existing roof. Matt was extremely helpful explaining the various GAF Warranty Options available.
Since I needed replace my roof with a complete tear off, I felt it was appropriate to bring my roof up to today’s standards. So I chose an enhanced GAF System Plus Limited Warranty that lasts 50 years and is transferrable if I decide to sell my property.
BIG Roofing completed my roof replacement in a timely manner and everyone involved with the process showed that they were extremely knowledgeable, skilled at their trade and very professional. I am very satisfied with my new roof. It looks great!

We had Big Roofing come out………specifically Brandon and look at our roof after a hail storm. Brandon came exactly when he said he would, took many pictures and explained a lot to us. We were not able to use this company because our insurance only allowed two other companies. I would use them if I were paying myself! Very professional and responsive. After a summer storm I called Big Roofing to inspect my roof. They came out the same day, documented damage on my shingles and gutters and recommended I reach out to insurance. Later Chuy at Big Roofing met with my insurance adjuster and pointed out the damage. Insurance agreed with the assessment from Chuy and agreed to replace my gutters and roof. Big Roofing took care of the rest. Communication and installation were well done. I would recommend!

House was completely Sided and looks great! The project manager Brandon Johnson was very helpful and thorough, and checked in with me frequently on the project. The staff found a place on the fascia that was cracked, and they took the initiative to order the correct material and fix that also. The workers were very polite. Highly recommend!

I noticed a water stain on my ceiling after a hail storm. I called Big Roofing, and they came out to look at it the bext dsy and tarped over the leak. They met the insurance inspector here to make sure insurance would cover the damage. We only had to wait a few days (not weeks!) for our new roof. It looked a mess while they were working so I was a little afraid it wouldn't all get cleaned up, but the guys did a fantastic job. Not a scrap or stray nail to be found, and everything put back in its place. And the roof looks really nice! I'd definitely recommend them.
