Bought a car from these guys about 6 months ago. I forgot to leave this review. It's my first time every buying from them and I had the worst experience, Not with my sales reps he was great but with 1 of the financial managers, we made a deal on the car. They just got it on trade and didn't clean it or nothing and the first week I had a light on the dash and my break pad light came on, I tried contacting them and they Ignored Me and now I'm stuck with the issue and a big bill for the breaks just after paying a good!! Amount of money. Be careful where u spend ur money. I've had better service at smaller dealership. God bless and hope everyone has a blessed day.

When I needed a tire replacement for a six week old tire, I was disappointed to learn that you don’t carry a road hazzard warranty on your new tires. My bad for not asking, but I won’t be buying any more tires from Big M.

I was originally excited about getting a 1/2 ton pickup all blacked out. After 1 week of ownership I experienced several electrical and mechanical issues with my 2025 Silverado 1500 Trail Boss LT Crew Cab. I was shocked that I had to schedule an appointment just to drop off the truck for service. The service issues are (1) driver’s door not closing properly (2) driver’s mirror shaking at highway speeds (3) Sirius XM intermittent (4) after plugging in a “aftermarket” brake light into the 4pin trailer plug, the infotainment system thinks the trailer lights are not working even without a trailer. You have to go through the sequential steps to erase the display (very annoying) plus the turn signals flash at a rapid rate. (5) “Drivers Assist” worked for one week, “application not available”. (6) the infotainment system display went blank for 3 days, the radio worked and navigation worked, but no display. Called 3 service departments and Chevrolet Customer Service, nobody knew what to do to get the display back on. Finally after a few days, my salesman suggested holding the “home” button and “power” button to restore the display, that worked.
The service department kept the truck for 1 week and it took 2 test drives to diagnose the issues and put 100 miles on the truck. Now I have to wait 2 plus weeks for the parts to arrive, then schedule a drop off appointment, then wait for it to hopefully get corrected. I’m not a happy camper with this new GM truck. My Toyota Tacoma had no issues in 18 months of ownership.

Idk what has become of big M Chevrolet in Radcliff, but their service is absolutely unacceptable and I'll tell you why in each area, because I am LIVID. My vehicle has a drive train warranty repair it needs done with my NVP warranty. I took my vehicle directly from Joy Automotive down the road to Big M. I called them in advance to let them know the situation, the diag, that Joy couldn't do the work because it was an internal engine repair needing an engine mechanic and that big m was the closest. Plus my vehicle is a Chevy so why not.

Big m knew my car was coming. They knew it was a warranty claim. They happily and clearly explained the process, as they knew they were getting some extra work, which in hindsight was an extremely greedy and I'm professional move. They're all about wonderful conversation on intake... Haha then they get your car...

Big m has had my vehicle for 3 weeks now, almost an entire month. Any time I have tried to call them I can't get through. It's a circus show on the phone and I have literally spent HOURS trying to get a hold of anyone in service, sales or anywhere else and I'll name them off. Steve is the only one what works there with a personality and any sense.
Niel what ever monotoned desk gentleman that answers for whatever department is lazy and either forwards every single call to someone else or says the Internet is system is down and he cannot do anything. He doesn't take messages he doesn't forwards notes and he loves to not do a single thing. Sydney the woman in the service department who took my vehicle has over 10 voicemails from me over EIGHT DAYS of me practically begging for any type of call back, information or update on my car.

Justin Collins the sales MANAGER is improfessional and upon me telling him after finally reaching him that it took me 8 days to get a hold of ANYONE suddenly Sydney my case manager called me back.......with no information and a promise to call me back.. last week on Friday. I waited Monday.... Tuesday... And here we are another 7 days later now, (week 3) with no call no information no anything.

I think today I'm going to use a Lyft or Uber to go up there in person and just sign the papers to take my vehicle else where. This is nuts. The clock is ticking on my drive train warranty. I'm not being given a single update. I spent over $500 almost in cab rides to and from work, and I'm a team lead at my job... So clocking in just a hair before my scheduled shift because an Uber driver wanted to do 5 under the speed limit is getting to be a little much.

I'm stressed. I'm aggreivates. I'm confused. I'm baffled. But most of all I'm just mind blown at how this place has a single good review or how the hell they're still open.

Has to be a chain or prioritizing only repeat customers. Which is a damn shame... Because I am one. I had a GREAT experience back in 2021 with Jon whelan himself.

And after this last experience ? I will NEVER EVER even look at this place again.

Honestly ? Idk man I'm embarrassed for y'all. And 4th of July weekend is no excuse. My vehicle has been with y'all for almost a month now and.. again... I can't even get a hold of anyone to know what's going on.

Maybe someone will read this and actually give me a call. I mean it's way too late now to save face. And that's not going to happen at all, but, id at least like MY car back, since also my monthly payment is due soon and I haven't even had it all month.

He goes above and beyond his duties to make sure the customer is truly satisfied. My car dash had some weird goo on it and he said he would take care of it or his boss would if it did not come off. Also, Todd Bell is a good finance officer as well.

They do not perform multi-point inspections on their pre-owned vehicles as they claim, no oil in car due to oil leak which should have been seen in a safety check, which makes them untrustworthy and indicates that they prioritize profit over customer satisfaction. They do not even have BBB accreditation.

Took my suburban to get checked out. By far worst customer service I have ever experienced. Had my car 3 days never got diagnosed or even a call back. Called multiple times to no answer. Just picked my car up and taking it to another dealer. I will never do business with Big M again

Came here for an oil change and tire rotation. Less than 24hrs later, I get a notification that my tire isn’t registering. I go back to the dealership and they tell me that one of my tire sensors battery is low and I would have to pay $200 to replace it. They said they tried to reprogram it, but it would not complete the reprogramming because of this low battery sensor. There were no issues prior to me getting my oil changed. I go to another place to get a second opinion only to find out that my sensors work fine and that it just needed to be reprogrammed. I don’t know what kind of business y’all are trying to run, but this is unacceptable. I’ve gotten my oil changed here four times and this is my first issue with them, but I will not be coming back.

I had a very pleasant experience shopping at Big M Chevrolet in Radcliffe, Kentucky the whole team down there reached out to help me! A big thank you to Mr. Noah for being very attentive to what I needed in a truck, and a big thanks to Jason Richardson for working out a deal When I was out of luck. I really appreciate these two gentlemen.
I also want to thank Trey Russell in finance for walking me through everything step-by-step. Mr Jose for showing me and greeting me the second I walk in the door.
Mr. Chuck Dixon one of the mechanics and Abby in service made me aware of some problems I didn’t know I had with my trade-in;they went above and beyond & were able to help me .
Throughout the day Mr Day made the purchase go smooth and Mr. Stephen from IT really helped me out a bunch. This company went above and beyond to help me get out of a truck that was no longer useful for my needs and put me into something brand new and what I liked! I’m very appreciative and thankful to God that he sent me to this team down at Big M Chevrolet!

The advisor was amazing. He was very friendly and professional.

My truck had oil residue on the grill, the hood, the door, and the steering will from the mechanic. His hands were dirty when I saw him which is expected; however, I would have expected the dirty areas to be wiped clean.

The oil change and the rotation was great.

I was expecting a list with checks but that was probably a part of the 7500 mile check and not an oil change.

I thought the old changes lasted 7500 miles but the sticker places on my windshield noted every 5000 miles.

December 3, 2024 I purchased a 2025 Chevy Traverse with only 5 miles - Which I traded my 2022 Land Rover with only 24,000 miles
Within the first 10 days and not even 100 miles on The odometer the brakes went out on this Traverse with my kids inside luckily I was able to not have an accident. Unfortunately the master column and other issues was the problem for the 2025 brake failure.- when I tell you, my kids was traumatized and terrified because of that experience its unbelievable how Montgomery Chevrolet on Preston Highway handle this issue-I
They actually had my car in service for over 28 days with lack of communication and still needed to be responsible for an $800 car payment-
They never tried to resolve this issue with me and now four months later April 18th 2025 imy car only has 1600 miles on it. It completely shut down on the interstate with traffic.- I was barely able to get the car in a safe place - had own Star to call the police so that they could wait there with me so that trucks would hit me- -
After that happened, I called the dealership 10 times and was put on hold 10 times even spoke to the general manager or assistant manager Rob and when I tell you, that was no help!! THAT WAS NO HEllP -
My car was towed to the nearest dealership which was in Bowling Green because I was heading to Nashville - such a huge inconvenience and they don’t even care to help- no loner car!!! They said they only deal with hertz’s in Louisville and nothing I could do!! Since I wasn’t in Louisville-
Also the dealership in bowling green doesn’t open on Saturdays (WHAT) so now no truck and car is in a different city-

Also, I have purchased two NeW cars before from Montgomery Chevrolet ( before the Land Rover)
And I was satisfied, however the way they’re running Montgomery Chevrolet - CRAZY

In my 17 years in the military I always had one rule. Never buy a vehicle from a dealer right off post. Boy was I wrong about this place. I walked in not thinking they would have what I was looking for. I was wrong from the moment I got there they listened to me Jose wrote down everything and found my dream truck.

Update: I dropped my review to two stars because their maintenance and service department is that bad. Honestly it makes me regret getting the vehicle. First I have had the truck a little less then two months (just put it’s actual tags on) and it is already leaking oil. I make an appointment and take it in. When I call to check on it a few hours later I get tossed around and put on hold between the sales department and the maintenance department (no idea why) until I get put on hold and it goes to a voicemail. Then I get the pleasure of doing it all again. Once they finally call me back to let me know there is a leak and they are ordering the part. I pick up my truck they let me know they are going to order the part that day (Friday) or come in and order it the next day (Saturday) and they will update me then. That was over a week ago now. No update and no appointment to fix my truck nothing.

In short: they are a lot like all the other shit car dealerships outside military gates. Nice to get you in something, works hard to get your money and then they could give a shit less about you after that.

Bought a Buick in cash. AC does not work have problems with the door with the wires. Called and told them talk to the manager told me that he did a $3000 inspection on the car before I bought it. And a UCI does not cost that much so he lied to me about it and he was the service manager. Please don’t shop with these people.

Beware – Sold Me an Unsafe Vehicle

I drove two hours to purchase a vehicle from Big M Chevrolet, only to end up scrapping it. This is the first time I’ve ever been ripped off on a car, and unfortunately, they’re protected by Kentucky’s lack of a lemon law.

The vehicle was filthy, full of someone else’s belongings and dog hair. Even worse, it had an open safety recall and a torn seat belt, making it unsafe for my child. Within days, it went into limp mode due to a bad alternator, and I later discovered the undercarriage was rusted out. Shortly after, both the radiator and transmission failed.

I used to believe dealerships were trustworthy, but this experience proved otherwise. Thankfully, I now live in a state where these shady practices wouldn’t be legal.

(For comparison, I’ve personally had great experiences with Murfreesboro Nissan and Leachman Buick GMC Cadillac.)

I bought a new vehicle, paid the down payment and signed the paperwork, but I have no truck. I contacted them because I knew something was going to go wrong. They didn’t event try to find out what was going on with the truck after they told me that it would be there between the 19-21 of March. At first I was told they were at the mercy of the transporter, then I was told GM had to release the truck. You would have thought if they were looking out for the customer that they would have had all of this taken care of and I would have had my truck when they said I would have it. Also, I was told that if the finance company didn’t have the check when the next payment was due, I would have to make a payment on that truck even though they would have it on their lot and the finance company would reimburse me. At this point, I don’t believe what they say. This coming from a place where they gave me a loaner that broke down on 65 when I was coming home from work. They really need to get it together and start looking out for the customer instead of their commission.

One of the best purchase experiences ever except for one small issue. I had a hitch added to the purchase in which they said it would be there is two days. That actually wasn't true. I went in to see where it was and they couldn't even order it until the finance package was paid. Now in my opinion they should have set those conditions when I purchased the vehicle. Or just ordered the hitch like they said they would.

I’m new to the area, and I was treated as if I worked there. I parked in the parking lot and proceeded to walk to the corner to learn the process of checking in my vehicle. The male service advisor was on the phone so I waited. Once he completed his phone call, I wasn’t greeted nor welcomed to the business. I finally told him I was there for a scheduled oil change, and ever then his response was just pull in. I proceeded to pull my truck in for service, got out, and waited for further assistance. He then while being on the phone says leaving the keys, I got you checked in. We never discussed my service, any additional services, or any services that I might want to omit. I waited again for further guidance regarding where the waiting area was located, he said just go through the door around the corner in the back. At the completion of my service, I was never notified of completion even I seen several others customers in the waiting receiving individual confirmation of completion. After checking the parking lot and seeing my truck parked, I walked to the service area and the male advisor was again on the phone. A female advisor proceeded to aid me after seeing the frustration on my face. After she inquired about my vehicle the male advisor, stated I think his key are over there somewhere. My experience at this location was unacceptable. My vehicle was previously serviced at Platinum Chevrolet in Terrell, TX where my wife and I received play by play notifications regarding our vehicle and also friendly service advisors. I did not include the male service advisors name due to it never being given. I can only conclude that this business caters to the local population, and doesn’t welcome new business. I would not advise anyone new to the area to utilize this business.

I’ve been a customer since arriving at Fort Knox in 2009. We would only send our soldiers to them because of their integrity. Bought a great used car from Noah yesterday and they continue to hire the best sales team I’ve ever experienced. Noah was genuinely invested in my wife and I getting the best car for the money. Never was Noah condescending in his tone whatsoever. He shows the absolute best character you could hope for. To Noah I get the impression each and every customer (not sale) is as important as the last. There are countless dealerships around Fort Knox that claim to support the troops. Big M doesn’t need a big gorilla to get the sale. They do it by putting the customer first! Noah was no exception. Can’t recommend Big M enough. From their selection, pricing, and most importantly their staff, I genuinely don’t know why you’re still reading this. Go find out for yourself. Ask for Noah! You won’t be disappointed!

The sales team is great. This time in for service on a new truck with less than 300 miles on it. Took truck in, in March for audio issues. Radio would stay on even after opening driver door and exiting the vehicle and for the rear speakers that were almost silent.

Same day was told they did a factory reset or software update on the infotainment system for the radio staying on issue. Also they would be ordering new rear speakers and would call to schedule the install when they came in which I was told would be within a few days.

Few days went by and no word. Called and was told they weren't in and they would call when they were. Mid April and still no word, my wife got impatient and called on the 23rd of April to find out they were there. I called and find out that they actually came in on the 16th and we were never contacted. Got scheduled, wife took truck in and got speakers installed. I got home from work and checked them out to find out they aren't any louder than the originals.

So the short version, new truck, first issue from day one, 2 months of ownership now and nothings changed. Now in reviewing online by other owners, sounds like these are ongoing issues with these trucks that hasn't changed since the 2019 models...
