Juan did a great job with some repairs near my siding and roof. He was very honest and carries himself very professionally which is rare in the contracting space.

I contacted Big Darby Contracting to assess and repair some storm damage that happened to my roof. Juan Rico, the owner came out and did a thorough inspection with me present. He explained the damage, and we discussed options for repair or replacement. I ended up replacing my roof, and adding a few things in. The work was done promptly and professionally. I can't say enough about the professionalism of Mr. Rico and his crew. Some of the materials arrived on site damaged. Mr. Rico ordered replacements and kept me posted on delivery status. When the replacement materials came in Juan was prompt on getting them installed. Other contractors would have written me off. If I ever need this type of service again, Big Darby will be at the top of my list of contacts. Great job Big Darby Contracting!!!

Juan showed up prepared with satellite imaging of my home and then did an onsite inspection and took measurements as well and then provided a profession estimate for the job within a half hour. I had 5 different companies provide quotes within the next several days. Juan was the most professional and came across as the most knowledgably of all the contractors. Juan not only did an excellent job but had the job scheduled within the next week and once started, the job was completed the same day. I recently had raccoon damage to my roof and needed to have my roof replaced. Juan from Big Darby came out quickly to provide a quote and, while here, temporarily patched the damaged sections to prevent the raccoons from entering and to stop any leaks. When proving the quote, he detailed the work that would be done and the materials he would use. I had quotes from other companies, but Juan was the only one who went into detail and was the only one who offered to put in a temporary patch.

Once insurance was sorted out, he and his crew did a great job, and the roof looked great. I also opted to have new gutters and skylights installed, and both came out great. I would recommend them to others without hesitation. I may do some siding replacement in a year or two, and they will be the first company I call.

Unlike the other contractors, who were also recommended by Angie and had an excellent rating, Juan did not claim my roof had wind damage and try to sell me a new roof. Instead, he took great pains to explain the actual condition of my roof, the repairs needed, and how and why a claim for wind damage would almost certainly be denied. This showed me a level of honesty and integrity that convinced me he was the man for the job.
He showed up promptly at the appointed time and got right to work. But he didn't do only the contracted repairs but a few extras because he wanted to be sure my roof wouldn't leak. This is a level of excellence, dedication and true concern for the customer that is very rare these days.
When the time comes and I need a new roof, I now know who I can trust to do things right.

The process was super easy front start to end. I love that Juan came and explained the whole process from start to end. He was not a pushy salesperson. He brought a small sample of all the materials that are used and explained me how they were going to be installed and why each material is necessary. We had we several companies quotes and he beat them all. He was the only contractor that when giving us a quote went on top of the roof to inspect it. Others either looked from ground or used a drone.

Scheduling the actual install was breeze.. Juan and his team are amazing. They did our roof in half a day. His crew is very nice and respectful. After installation, everything was cleaned up, with no trash left behind. Juan also did a walkthrough with me to show me the roof and to make sure no nails were left behind.

Had a tree that was trimmed Juan did a roof inspection and identified where the tree rubbed against the roof, dislodging shingles. Within a week, I was able to schedule with Juan, and within 2 days he was able to complete the repair, add a new waterproofing layer, and new shingles. He cleaned up all messes and the before and after photos are amazing. Highly recommend Juan and his team! Fast service, he provided a detailed quote of the cost, process of the repair and after the repair he gave a detailed report of what was done, findings and provided me photos. Amazing quality, and work!

The absolute best! We love our new siding. Juan and his team were great! We had damage from a storm and this was the first company we contacted. We had no clue on any of the process and what to do. We had a patch of missing shingles, leaving us with a tiny waterfall in our bedroom. Allstate would not cover the roof damage. They said it was an installer error. Two other contractors agreed. Big Darby's rep, Juan, gave us a great price for a full roof replacement, but without the insurance covering some part of it, we just couldn't afford a full replacement. There was no pressure by Juan to get a new roof, unlike what the other contractors we got estimates from tried to do. Instead, Juan offered to tarp our roof at no charge. He also offered to patch the area for a very reasonable price, to hold us over until next year. We decided to patch the roof, and Juan did it on the spot! It was a great experience, and we didn't feel like we were cornered into biting off more than we could chew.
