Customer feedback for Beyond Next Level Roofing is largely positive, with many reviewers praising the quality of work, professionalism, and communication of Chris and his team. The majority of customers noted that projects were completed efficiently and within budget, often with excellent cleanup afterwards. However, one review highlighted significant delays and poor communication, contrasting sharply with the otherwise positive experiences. Overall, while the majority are satisfied and recommend the service, the sporadic issues with communication and delays warrant caution for potential customers.
- The quality of work was excellent and the pricing was fair.
- They completed the entire job in one day and cleaned up well afterwards.
- Communication was clear and timely throughout the process.
- Chris and his team were very professional and respectful.
- They managed to save some money and returned it to me.
- The project took 13 days instead of the promised 2 days, often with only 1 or 2 workers.
- Communication was poor and unreliable, with no one showing up as scheduled.
- The project was described as a disorganized mess from start to finish.

We hired Beyond Next Level Roofing company based on the owner’s (Chris Kuhn) confident promises and his constant boasting about 5-star reviews. He told us it would be a 2-day job with 4–6 workers. In reality, it took 13 days, and most of the time there were only 1 or 2 workers, sometimes just one. While the workers were polite and respectful, the project was a disorganized mess from start to finish.
Communication was poor and unreliable:
* He told us multiple times they'd be on-site at 6am, only to have no one show up. We'd then get a last-minute text saying they decided to start later or take the day off.
* We were constantly cleaning up nails and debris ourselves, despite being promised that the company would handle daily cleanup—especially important because we have a dog. Even after the job was completed, we’ve still found an abundance of nails around our yard and driveway.
Other serious issues included:
* No tarps or protective plastic were laid down during the tear-off.
* We had to repeatedly point out mistakes and unfinished work, including fascia hung too high and improperly nailed roofing sheets (spotted by our painter).
* He underquoted the material needs, even though we warned him up front that other companies estimated 32–35 squares. He quoted 27—but it ended up being nearly 38, which cost us significantly more than his original bid.
* He backed into our maple tree twice, breaking it in half the second time.
* He “forgot” we paid a deposit, then tried to collect it again at the end and added questionable charges for "consumables."
* He claimed the job was complete, but we had to give him a laundry list of unfinished items that still needed attention.
Despite all these issues, the owner continually reminded us what a “great deal” we were getting and bragged about his perfect reviews. Frankly, our experience couldn’t have been more different.
We do not recommend this company. The lack of professionalism, poor planning, extra costs, and ongoing cleanup have made this one of the most frustrating contractor experiences we’ve ever had.

Christopher and his team put a new roof on the Wildcat Lake Grocery market where I work. They did an amazing job! From doing it during odd hours as to not interfere with our customers to fixing the sagging eaves that had been sagging for years, they are now re-supported properly. It's a big roof and it was done in just a few days and clean up at the end of each work day was very good and the package even came with beautiful new gutters!! Can't say enough about Beyond Next Level Roofing and the crew. If you have any Roofing needs at all you are definitely missing if you do not contact Christopher at Beyond Next Level Roofing for a free estimate and the best communication you've probably ever dealt with while dealing with a contractor. Highly highly recommend!

I couldn’t possibly recommend any company on planet earth more than I do these guys. The price was fair and quality of work was excellent. They were very respectful and cleaned up the yard better than what it initially was. Once it was finished, I was told that they managed to save some money and it was returned to me. You won’t see that kinda honestly too often.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
