Berry Construction Roofing & Storm Repair

We have used Berry Construction two times now to fix siding/roofing damage due to high winds. They are incredibly responsive, and very timely with their repairs. This past Saturday when we woke up to damage, we had an estimate, materials, and the damages fixed by 5pm the same day. The urgency that they addressed our damage was much appreciated as our attic was exposed and more weather was coming in. Can't recommend them more.

We had hail damage to our roof recently and called Berry Construction. It's the best decision we could have made. Set-up an inspection and Michael Sherman was at my house right on time and did a very thorough inspection, even finding some damage that the insurance company missed. Billy also came out and assured me that they would take care of everything.
Michael provided me with thorough instructions on next steps and worked tirelessly with the insurance company to help us get a whole new roof. The installers did an amazing job and were very thorough in insuring that everything was done properly, and cleanup was completed. It looks amazing!!!

Hail damage. Many houses/business' sustained damage.Be patient for repairs. It is worth it. The crew that replaced the siding did an excellent job. Attention to detail was really good. The roof looks great to. John Russo job overseer was always in the neighborhood checking progress on the work being done.and advising us on the work progress. He also responded quickly to questions. Berry Construction is highly recommended.

Berry construction provided excellent emergency services when a tree had toppled through my roof and into my home. The midnight removing the tree from the room and patching the holes that went right through into my bedroom was fantastic.
In addition the follow up long term repairs were excellent and supervised with the highest quality and concern for my satisfaction by Shane. I highly recommend Berry construction and if you are lucky enough to get Shane as your project Manager, Even Better!

Our roof got damaged by hail and Berry Construction was super quick to come out and tarp our roof. Unfortunately, the area of impact must have not been tarped correctly because we had a significant amount of rain continuing to leak into our room during the next storm. We called Berry Construction to have the roof re-tarped, but while they were fast to come out, the second tarp didn't work either. We ended up hiring a different roofing company because we didn't want to take a chance on the third tarp. Luckily insurance covered the $500 tarp invoice (so we weren't out any money) but it's unfortunate to be charged such a high sum for a tarp that didn't work. Berry construction was very quick in it's communication and coming out to tarp, however, unfortunately for us, having more water come into the house due to the tarp not working caused us more damage in the long run.

We used Berry Construction after a tree fell on our home during a recent storm . They were amazing. Bryce made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. I could not have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Berry Construction.

We had the best experience using Berry Construction after we had hail damage on our home. They worked with our insurance to get us a new roof AND all new siding. The exterior of our home is looking so amazing after all the work they did, I am ecstatic. Working with Todd and Billy was so effortless and easy. We had a newborn right around the time we were submitting our hail damage claim and so we were very busy and they handled everything on our behalf and made it so simple for us. The only one (of 4) to respond to my Friday 4/19/24 requests was Billy from Berry Construction. He had Shane arrive onsite within hours on Friday afternoon, inspected the very high-pitched Roofs of our Condo Buildings , found an entire series of siding pieces broken loose from below a front gable, but stayed in the front corner valley of roof (Front Roof Gable), from which the siding piece on someone's driveway probably came. He also viewed a series of siding pieces breaking loose on the rear roof (Rear Roof Gable). They returned on the next business day, Monday, and not only completed the repairs, but also inspected the other Condo Buidling roofs for other damages.

I eventually heard back from the other 3 contacts, but by that time, Berry Construction had already completed the work. Most of the other companies indicated they could not come out to repair for weeks or months.

This company, being a local family owned business really raises the bar for roofing companies. Courteous, professional and clear communication. They made dealing with insurance easy. The crew was able to tear off and replace my roof in one day and I found no trash, debris or nails on my property. Bryce Berry has it figured out when it comes to customer support and logistics, the materials were on time and correct. I highly recommend working with them on your next roofing project!.

Call the company on Thursday, October 12 I sent the owners son out to inspect my roof. He did not go all the way up to the top because it was windy, I totally understand and he said that he would be back the next day. Days went by and no one showed up so the following week I called the office they said they would check on things a few more days went past finally Thursday the 19th. The owner son calls me and only seem concerned about two holes in my siding and the facia. My main concern is my roof. And he didn’t say that he was going to come out and inspect the very top of the roof. I’m really surprised with the amount of five star ratings of this company has, but I am not impressed and I am not using them.

Mr. Berry did a roof inspection as well as identifying soffit that needed to be repaired. He quickly repaired the soffit and was very honest in his roof inspection and came to University City. He also did major roofing projects for our daughter over the past 10 years and she referred Berry Construction to us. I worked with Billy on this and he made sure to send someone over the same day I called. They did a great job of getting the work done in time and were very professional. We contacted Berry Construction in an emergency situation following some siding damage that occurred days before we were due to leave on vacation. Despite it being a Friday afternoon, Berry Construction was incredibly responsive and worked with us to schedule repair before we left on our trip. The owner, William, arrived the next day on Saturday afternoon outside of their normal work hours and completed the repairs for us. The work was completed with confidence and the price was more than fair given our tight timeline. We’ll definitely give Berry a call next time we need repairs done!

I contacted Berry Roofing to come out to inspect my roof since the backside was damaged. They came out the next day and assessed it and then fixed it the following day. Their pricing was fair and I was happy with their quality of work. Their quick response time was a huge plus since their was a leak in my roof. Discovered missing shingles from high wind damage the other wee and contacted these guys and they were very fast from start to finish. Affordable and great workmanship.

They did a small repair quickly and correctly so I decided go have them replace my siding.
They started, left for 4 hours, returned and then rain came. They didn’t come the next day and when they finally returned, they have torn up my landscaping, left a mess on my grass, including their cooler so that it could die in the heat. They disconnected my direct tv and left the satellite in my bushes, along with gutter scraps and large pieces of siding they have torn down. They are taking many many days to complete the project and have absolutely zero respect for my yard or landscaping. They have smoked while lounging on my patio furniture and flicked their ashes and cigarette butts into my landscaping.
I’m not quite sure who the girls are that are dropped off at my house, but they sit under trees, I’m guessing to stay cool since they are dressed in sweatshirts and jeans. Not sure if they are girlfriends, daughters, or what. It’s all extremely disappointing and I completely and totally regret deciding to go with this company.
I had watched them replace siding on another house and it was finished in 2 days. Mine, that is about the same size looks like it’s going to take at least a couple of weeks.
So please, when you have the choice, keep looking. There are better companies out there.

After having a very bad experience with a different company, I decided to give Berry Construction Storm Repair a try after seeing their sign in one of my neighbor’s yard. That was the best decision I could’ve made! Shane came quickly after I called requesting an estimate for soffits and fascia. His crew started the job on Tuesday, and they were finished in three days. The work was done professionally and now my home looks the way it’s supposed to look again.

I didn’t even make it past the phone call with the lady receptionist. I was calling in to get a bid on new siding and she didn’t hear my response because my phone cut out and she immediately raised her voice and got an attitude repeating who her company was. I told her how unprofessional that was and she hung up.

I could not be happier with Shane. I did not have a large job, but he still came out. Some contractors out there ignore the easy ones, but they don't realize, that cuts off future business. I can tell you, when the time comes when I replace the entire roof, I will DEFINITELY call Shane to give him the business he earned!

After the storm at night with some of my shingles flying off the roof, I called more than seven roofing companies in the area and Berry Construction was the only company that would call me back the same day to schedule for a repair before the next storm. My job was under $500, but they still showed up on time as promised and did a good job in repairing my roof.

I called Berry to help me with a leaking gable vent. Shane contacted me quickly and we set up a review. Shane walked the job site as well as the rest of my property to help me understand what was happening as well as what else I may need to consider. His experience helped me quickly determine what I wanted to do and he did not try to sale me anything I didn't want.
The work was quick. The team arrived earlier than expected, spoke with my wife (she was home) and quickly went to work. I was at work however Shane continued to communicate with me as the job was performed. Since this was behind the exterior I was curious as to the quality of work. I was sent pictures as the job progressed as well as communication to make sure that we all knew what was happening.
Once the job was done Shane provided a debrief explaining to me what they had found during the process to help me understand why the water was coming in my house.
Its not easy getting service during the pandemic let alone good service. Berry is my go to for storm repair. Job well done.

We just got back from out of town and a half hour later a storm came in and blew off some of our shingles. I Googled storm repair and found Berry Construction with excellent reviews. I called and they quickly called back and asked for some pictures. After sending them pictures someone was out within a Hour to put tarp over damaged part of roof. He worked quickly because another storm was just a minute away with lots of lighting. He got my damaged roof covered just before second storm hit. If it wasent for quick response I would surely have water damage on second floor. Never did business with them in past but treated me like a long time customer. Would highly recommend.
