I don't normally write many reviews, but I wanted to go out of my way to make sure to write a detailed one about Pat and the Beckworth team.
Our home is around 20 years old and still had the old builder-grade windows throughout. It got to the point in our home were you could seriously feel a draft through the windows in the cold winter months, and during the hot summer months the heat coming through was just ridiculous. We had absolutely zero energy efficiency.
We had been shopping around for new windows for several months, and got really frustrated when the pushy salespeople from the companies you hear on the radio just wouldn't leave us alone. I ultimately had five (5) quotes from other companies that were all charging an unbelievable amount to replace the 19 windows in our home.
We came in contact with Beckworth, and Pat was such a breath of fresh air. He was super enjoyable to work with - totally professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the products, prices, and process for window replacement. And most importantly, he was NOT pushy at all. He is an excellent communicator (always responded whenever we had questions), was consistently on time for appointments, and worked tirelessly on our behalf to get us a fantastic deal on a beautiful product. I was really impressed when he showed up early on the day of the install to insure everything was in order, and he personally took the time to inspect the end products to ensure 5-star quality. Also, Beckworth's install crew was very polite and left the work site cleaner than they found it. They were super quick and efficient.
We got our new windows at the beginning of the Summer, about four months ago. It has seriously made our home feel brand new. This past summer was unusually hot outside, but it was super nice and cool inside thanks to our windows from Beckworth.
If you are considering new windows for your home, I would highly recommend having a conversation with Beckworth before signing a contract with anyone else. You will not regret their sincere kindness, their low prices, or their quality work.
Working with Beckworth was extremely positive experience, and I look forward to doing business with them again.

Roughly 5 months ago we signed a contract with Pat Sowers, a wonderful guy who gave us a good price and lots of reassurance along the way. The office project manager (Raoul) scheduled delivery of product on Aug 20 and the supplies came exactly as described. Weather and another project were accomodated nicely. John and I are happy to report an excellent completion to our new Hardie plank siding project. The workers were first-rate and their attention to detail and willingness to accept feedback were exceptional. They were courteous and cleaned up the site each day and we could not be more pleased. Thank you, Beckworth!

Our lower family room, otherwise known as the basement, has just been completed and we could not be more pleased with the workmanship, the crews who made it possible and of the course the management personnel of Beckworth. From start to finish this has been a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this company!

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
