I know this might not be a typical company review, but I just wanted to give a shoutout to the two guys in van number 72 who stopped to help a turtle cross London Bridge Road. That simple act of kindness was truly awesome. Thank you both! Because of that, your company will definitely be top of mind if I ever need roofing work done.

Van #53 was not very happy with how slow I was going on an exit ramp. Rode my tailgate the whole way and was swerving back and forth trying to go around me. Once we were off the ramp the man continued to follow as close as possible when there was a free empty lane he could’ve happily gotten into. Very unprofessional and dangerous. After he decided to get in front of us I took this picture.

We struggled to find a reputable roofing company that was licensed to give us a roofing inspection WITH a report. We were so thrilled when we were able to get a sample of the detailed report with pictures and expert opinions in regard to our inspection. I highly recommend this company. They knew we only wanted an inspection. Knowing this they didnt try to push their other services. They are professional and i cant say enough good things about them. Ours was a relatively simple job and they still gave us a 8 page report with satellite imagery and pictures they took themselves.

Maybe not fair as I didn't use this company, but I watched one of their trucks nearly crush 2 merging cars in downtown tunnel and then get aggressive. He was driving well over limit and was intentionally speeding up to close large gap. While not an uncommon driving scenario for tidewater, maybe best not done when you have your companies advertisement on the truck.

While the father of my child was driving in Chesapeake with my daughter in the car one of their work vehicles cut him off almost hitting him and when he eventually he got beside them, they laughed and flipped him off thinking their actions were hilarious. Poor character. Be careful of the reckless people you decide to work on something as important as the roof over your head. Van #066

Here visiting my 1 year old daughter. In attempt to enjoy my valued time with her I crossed a beck roofing company van #066 while driving in VA beach the van cut me off scaring my daughter to tears. When I caught up to van the 2 individuals especially the passenger thought it was just hilarious that they drive dangerously and erratic as well as some gestures I didnt appreciate either. I can’t imagine any quality work from this company with employees like that. I actually had planned on having my roof inspected while I’m here on the house I own and use as a rental. I am relieved to know what company I won’t use.

From the looks of it their roofing jobs are top notch, however, their driving leaves much to be desired. Nothing quite speaks volumes like "No I will not be using your service ever" to the jerk on the road in a company vehicle that wants to play speed up and slow down not letting vehicles over and then laughing as he passes you while attempting to utilize an off ramp. Not the type of person I would want on my roof because if that is the personality displayed I'm quite positive I would not like his work. I equate that attitude as the 'cant see it from my House' personality.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
