There are certainly no shortages of roofing contractors; a fact that becomes obnoxiously obvious after a major hail or wind event. Yet how does one know which roofing contractor is legit and will indeed deliver a quality roof?

I started by soliciting a referral from a trusted real estate agent, who often has to recommend a roofing contractor as part of securing a sale, and he unconditionally recommended BCZC Roofing and Exteriors.

It was very easy contacting Carolyn at BCZC who quickly put together a very reasonable quote, efficiently facilitated the material delivery and even showed up in person, on-site the morning of the project. The work was done in one day, including a complete clean-up of debris.

I have seen, and personally installed, many roofing projects from my years in the building trades and the workmanship of the BCZC roof is unquestionably the best I have seen. The flashing detail is flawless and demonstrates an understanding of water infiltration and how to prevent it. The workers demonstrated an understanding of prevailing wind and adjusted the direction of the ridge cap accordingly, while their attention to the cosmetic details of roofing resulted in a strikingly beautiful roof.

Carolyn was very clear during our first contact that BCZC will only install high quality, class 4 shingles. When I submitted BCZC ‘s 10-year warranty and certification of installation of class 4 materials to my insurance company, the insurance company reduced my yearly premium by $2,000!

I too now unconditionally recommend BCZC for any residential roof needs.

Carolyn took the pain out of a roof replacement!! Seamless —- very easy and super trustworthy —- I replaced the roof in 2017 and now again in 2023 …. If I used BCZC in 2017 I would not have needed to replace in 2023 because they put the hail resistant tile in for the cost that insurance gives for regular tile. My neighbors who had hail resistant tiles didn’t need to replace after the 2023 storm like I did. BCZC let me know when he materials arrived and keep me informed throughout and explained everything I asked about in detail. They worked with insurance to make sure everything was covered. Responded quickly to every request….definitely my highest recommendation for BCZC!! Super happy and really like the new color of my roof —- Carolyn worked closely with me in the midst of supply chain shortages to get a color that I am extremely happy with. 100% A+!!

We have used BCZC twice in the last 2 1/2 years. First as part of buying our home and then unfortunately like many we sustained substantial hail damage in 2023 so we turned back to Carolyn and her company for help. She's a life saver and took care of everything including our challenges with the insurance company. Bill inspected the roof prior to a home purchase. Because of his thorough inspection, we were able to negotiate with the seller to file a hail damage claim with the sellers insurance company. We negotiated the contract for the buyer to select the roofing company, and of course we selected BCZC. Through some back and forth, Bill was able to work through the approval process with the sellers insurance company, then speedily install new roof, new venting, and new gutters, all prior the short window before closing. The roof looks fantastic, the old roofing was removed, gutters were installed, and the area was cleaned. I have zero hesitation recommending Bill to friends. He is thorough, prompt, detailed, honest, and personable. Rating a company as 5 stars feels like an average review these days, therefore, 5 stars does not do BCZC justice. They have built a fantastic company, I cannot speak highly enough of their work, process, and honesty. I'm going with a 10 star review.

Used BCZC Roofing to replace my hail damaged roof in May 2021. Bill was readily available to answer all my questions via phone or text at all times during the process. Once scheduled, and after getting the materials I requested, his team was able to get the roof replaced in one day. He also coordinated re-painting of my home, removal and reinstallation of my solar panels as part of this project. Due to scheduling issues with the solar company, it took longer than I had hoped to to get those reinstalled, however, this was out our control. I am extremely happy with his team and quality of work they did and recommend BCZC Roofing to anyone!
