Baymont by Wyndham London KY

I would give no stars if possible this place smelled like old socks in our room and hallway #149.A/C barely worked ,walls above bed all dirty (click on pic).Tub is so slippery we both almost fell so I put a towel down for a mat ... Breakfast was ok,some eggs that looked like a flat pancake and hard biscuits &gravy with patties.

The location was right along our route which I why we chose it. First impression wasn’t great but reservation was already made and we were ready to rest. Once we got to our room i went to directly to turn on our AC. The carpet was soaked. That explained the musty smell. We did not want to hassle anyone with a move or pack our things back up. I let the front desk know though so they were aware. Afterwards I went to place some water in the fridge to find that did not work either. Honestly can’t complain much for the price and the pool was nice after a long hot drive.

We stayed at this location on a stop after a long day of driving, We arrived at 12:30 am exhausted. Staff was very friendly and checkin was quick. Had to sign acknowledging no smoking in rooms, which was no problem because none of us smoke. We entered the room and were immediately hit with stale smoke smell in the room. We were exhausted and went right to bed. Got up in the morning to shower and found the shower area to be filled with mold. There is not a fan in the bathroom. I took video and showed the front desk staff. They apologized and said they would let the cleaning staff know. We stayed in room 137. Hopefully it will be taken care of. Breakfast was okay.

A little hard to reach due to construction on the main road. They seem to be updating rooms also. The room did need a little work but was very clean. Staff was awesome. My only complaint was that my room smelled strongly of marijuana. It was coming from the adjoining room. I did notify staff but other than changing rooms there wasn't much they could do. Unfortunately there was no more handicap accessible rooms available and I didn't want to have to move on my baggage and my husband. Also had a chance to use the swimming pool it really needed a good cleaning but was still very relaxing.

This is my third stay at London Baymont Inn. The rooms are clean, the rates are affordable, and everything is as expected—but the service is what keeps us coming back. Amy at the front desk is amazing—friendly, helpful, and always makes us feel welcome. Great value and great service!

The hotel overall needs a major renovation. The bathroom sink in my room dripped constantly. The floors in the lobby always looked dirty - they weren't, they were just stained. Whoever painted in the rooms did not know how to cut in - there is paint on the ceilings, electrical plates and the smoke detectors. The air conditioners had a hard time keeping up in the rooms. The hair dryer didn't work. I did ask for a replacement which they provided, but I couldn't use it in the bathroom because the dryer plug would not stay in the outlet.|On a positive note - the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast provided was always good.

It was very relaxiing and the man at the front desk was very friendly. It was very quite and I was able to go to start my day with a work out.

The staff were a Godsend! We had trouble with our truck while towing our camper. We had to wait a couple days to get it serviced, and the staff were so pleasant and helpful! They made a very unpleasant situation much more tolerable.

This is my go to in London Ky.|This unit is older but well maintained. #1 Beds are great no slab of concrete here. Just a great night's sleep. #2 A free breakfast that is worth setting down for.|#3 A Staff that actually wants to help you. Yes you can spend more.|You just won't get more.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. They allowed me to hang around in the lobby until it was time for me to head out. They actually have hot food for breakfast. Sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and waffles. The only minor complaint i have is the toilets suck, nearly impossible to flush but that's a very minor thing! Also super hot showers which are amazing and warm up fast!

When we first booked in, noticed that the hallways were very dated and crumby looking. The rooms looked fairly nice but the sheets had big stains on them. This place would get a better review if it wasn’t for the terrible customer service we experienced. The lady working the breakfast station was incredibly rude, was on her phone the entire time, and we had told her about a spill that someone else made and then got a really bad attitude about it. She then started gossiping to other customers telling them that we did it. Extremely unprofessional behavior and will never be returning here because of this. I don’t remember her name but it started with a K.

The floors in my room were dirty. There was what looked like coffee grounds on the floor near the bathroom door. There was what desk had food on it. I had to take a washcloth and wipe the desk before I could put things on it. The room smelled musty, like it was wet at one point and then dried.

Im not one to leave bad reviews but if you have a family do not stay here we were gonna let our kids sleep on the pull out couch and it looked like it had human poop smeared all over it, found tubes of dirty lip gloss. It was not clean and not a place I would want my young children staying. The staff was nice and friendly but the room was disgusting

It would have been extremely helpful to be warned about all the road construction going on directly in front of the hotel. We came in very late pulling a trailer and had difficulty trying to figure out how to get into the facility.

We pre paid for a room a week in advance. As we started our roadtrip to this location we got a call that they gave our room up. We had almost no time to plan ahead for a new room and still haven’t gotten the refund. I’d never had a bad experience with Wyndham until now im very disappointed.

Other than a little hard to get to, road construction, good stay. Great hot breakfast. Friendly, easy at check in. Room has many outlets for charging phones. Top of the hill location makes it a little more secluded that on the business strip.

Very clean rooms and the desk clerks were helpful and congenial. The hotel is a little dated but was a great location for our stop.

An older hotel but nicely updated and very clean. Right next to I-75. Nothing bad to say. Would stay again for sure.

We stay here every year on our return trip from spending the winter in FL and they never disappoint. When they say they are pet-friendly, they mean it! The young lady at the front desk was very welcoming with fresh chocolate chip cookies for us and treats for our dog.

The hotel is an older hotel but had all the amenities needed . The room smelled and looked clean. I did notice the sheet on the bed being torn, so I called the front desk to let them know so they won't charge me for it.
The bed was firm. We slept well.
It was a bit noisy, between the door leading to the exterior being so close and the dogs in the nearby property barking for a long time.
This is a great hotel to spend one or two nights. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and even gave us some welcome cookies!
The breakfast was okay.. other than the waffles, everything else was meh.
However, there was a good selection. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, tea, coffee, juices, yogurts, cereals, waffles, and bagels.
We were also given a complimentary bottle of water as a "thank you for staying with us" !

I stay here everytime I go to NC which is frequently. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is what you'd expect for this caliber, but the woman who takes care of it made sure everything was hot, fresh, and full. My room is always quiet and the bed was AMAZING! I slept for 9 hours straight! Parts of the hotel are dated, but for me it's about cleanliness, service, and comfort and this hotel always ticks all the boxes.

Property is showing its age a bit, but my room was very clean, quiet, comfortable bed, and good breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

Man I was glad I booked here. It was full by the time we arrived, but it was quiet and exactly what we needed. The staff was superb, friendly, patient, and warm. We would definitely stay here again.

Construction hinders access to roads Not hotels fault!
Called to inquire if washing machine are on premise front desk replied "IDK maybe the second floor?"
No fresh fruit at breakfast, rooms paint looks tired and couldn't get shower to come on full just dribbling water.
Beds were comfy a lot of outside noise calling animals that are fed outside our window.

Great price, clean rooms , very polite people. Great location! We’ve stayed here several times and will continue to use this location.

This is our favorite go to place when visiting the area. They are pet friendly and very clean economical accommodation, the staff is exceptionally helpful and the breakfast bar is fantastic!

We arrived late, and I'd made a mistake in booking the room. The problem was quickly rectified by the hotel staff and we got into our room quickly. Clean room, good bed, good breakfast too!

Baymont by Wyndham Kentucky is one of the more affordable hotels. Less than an hour and a half from the capital city of Kentucky, Frankfort. There’s plenty of tourist activity provided in the front desk of the hotel. Aside from the historic downtown area, there’s also the Laurel County Library within the same place of Laurel Wellness park & Sumnour Community College.

Loved our stay! Price was right. Very clean room, lots of restaurants and coffee shops, full breakfast, super friendly staff. Lots of parking. Thank you!

We have stayed at this Baymont several times over the years and are always happy with our room. The service is excellent. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We will stay again next time we are in London Kentucky.

We had a good stay, the room was clean even though we did see quite a few ants by the window. The staff at the desk is phenomenal! I cannot say enough good things about them, especially the evening desk clerk. On the door it says breakfast until 10 so we almost missed it when we went down at 9:20 and they had all the food put up by 9:30. To be fair there is a sign that says breakfast til 9:30 hanging in the breakfast room but we had not seen it. Other than the breakfast time and the ants, everything thing else was great!
